Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light subconsciously tightened her grip on Riku's arm, at the same time getting a hold of the bullet. She kept a steady hand and started pulling it out, knowing that she would rather be patient and take more time with the first try than mess up and have it fall deeper in again.
Riku actually felt a small sting, and he grunted a little. Not only was that a sign that she was pulling the bullet out, but also Light's tighter grasp on his lower arm. Okay, so maybe the ice hadn't done as much as he thought.

Light paused briefly to glance up at Riku, but she didn't let go of the bullet. It was already halfway out, so there was no point stopping now. She looked back down at it and focused on keeping it steady so Riku didn't feel any more pain than he had to.
Riku waited, keeping his eyes downcast. He didn't want to see the bullet that managed to hit him, nor did he want it for keepsake. That wasn't a battle he wanted to remember.

Light noticed the wound start bleeding again slightly, but not too much because of how the area was frozen. Regardless, she turned the bullet slightly and pulled it out on her first try, dropping it into the trashcan by her side. "There."
Riku turned his head, looking over at his arm. He saw that it was bleeding, but was more focused on the person next to him. "Thanks," he said with a small nod, his eyes now on her.

Light looked up, humming and nodding faintly to Riku. "You want me to wrap it, or get my sword and cast Cure?" Or, the third option: Riku cured himself. Either was fine, but she also had to wash off these tweezers.
The boy shook his head slightly. "I'll take care of it," Riku said, smiling weakly. Lightning needed to worry about herself, not him. But he was probably doing enough worrying about her on his own.

"Alright," Lightning said with a faint nod, rising to her feet with the tweezers in her grasp. She'd also take that trashcan back into the kitchen, wash her hands, and grab a rag to wipe at Riku's wound he didn't take care of it himself.
Riku watched Lightning go before he looked down at his arm. He held his right hand out in front of him and summoned his weapon, looking at it and having faith that it would do the trick. He lifted the tip slightly as he called to the power of Healing, watching and feeling the wound close up.

Light put the trashcan back in its place and then went to the sink, using some soap to clean off the tweezers. It was a good thing she wasn't squeamish, or she would have felt disgusted by digging a bullet out of Riku's arm. But she did it before, and to herself, so she was alright with it.
Riku dismissed Way to Dawn once the wound was no more, though the blood still lingered. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked over toward the towel he laid on the recliner. Pushing himself up, he went over toward it and used it to wipe at the leftover blood, cleaning himself up.

Light set down the clean tweezers by the sink and then peeked into the living room, seeing Riku already cleaning his wound. Well then, he wouldn't need a wet rag. The girl walked back into the room and sat down on the couch, folding her legs Indian-style in front of her.
Riku turned his head when he saw Lightning enter the room, his eyes trailing her until she was sitting on the couch. He finished wiping up his wound before he leaned against the back of the chair, his arms folding. "So..." he started, his bright eyes resting on her from where he stood. What happened now?

Light shrugged slightly, looking up at Riku. "So," she said. Did he trail off for a reason, or did he just want to break through the silence? She wasn't sure if she liked the silence or not...Honestly, she was alright just seeing Riku alright again.
Riku furrowed his eyebrows, gazing at Lightning in a small silence. "Sorry," he said then, frowning a little. "About Barbossa. I should have been watching out for you." Instead, he chased after his foe, acting reckless. He was stupid.

Lightning blinked in surprise to the subject, and she diverted her gaze without thought. "Oh, um, that's alright," she said, twirling some of her damp hair. Sora had taken over when Riku ran off.
"...No," Riku said, shaking his head. "It's not." He should have been there... He shouldn't have run off like he did; he left her vulnerable, and then Barbossa grabbed her and touched her in a way that made Riku feel sick.

Light kept her gaze down, continuing to twirl her hair faintly. "You had to go after Jafar before he attacked any of your friends," she said, trying to reason with him. He was just doing what he saw as best.
Riku lowered his eyes to the chair, sighing. "There are no excuses," he said softly. "I was protecting you before, and I should have stuck to it. I was reckless, and because of that, you nearly got taken away again. It was my fault." Everything was his fault, as usual.

Light shook her head faintly, not knowing what to say to that. Riku wouldn't believe her no matter what she said, would he? "Alright, so it's your fault," she said, though she didn't believe it. "Does admitting that change anything?" While she said this, she was thinking back to when Fang told her some news and she slapped her. Her friend asked her if that changed anything, and Lightning realized it didn't. It helped her move on.
"Guess not," Riku answered after a minute, lifting his gaze to Lightning again. "Even if it doesn't, I'm still sorry. If anything happened to you again..." He trailed off, knowing numerous things that would have occurred. Riku sighed. "Well, let's just say I would have let Ven beat me to a pulp."
  • Author
Light's eyes softened, and she shook her head a little at Riku. "Nothing happened," she said softly. "And Ven's sure to warm up to you now that Maleficent's gone." She looked down at the name, folding her arms over her chest. She still couldn't believe she was dead.
"Hm," Riku hummed, his eyes narrowing at the all too familiar name. Maleficent. There was no doubt in his mind that she was getting what she deserved. "She won't be bothering anybody anymore."
  • Author
"Right," Light said softly, wrapping her arms around herself a little more tightly. Her former master was gone now, and she was no longer a slave. She was free to live her life again and do whatever she pleased. But...what was that? What was she going to do?
