Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Ven pulled back his Keyblade and swung it at Vanitas again, not bothering to respond to his comment. Of course he joined the battle; he had to fight so that Vanitas didn't hurt Aqua. He had come too close for comfort before when he hit her helmet.
Vanitas saw the attack coming for his shoulder, and he quickly moved his shoulder back and away from the swing. He then proceeded to perform his own, swinging Void Gear horizontally at Ventus.

Ventus's eyes widened behind his helmet, but he knew he could avoid the attack. He pushed off with his feet and did a flip over Vanitas's head, at the same time swinging his Keyblade at him again.
Vanitas winced, a small grunt leaving him at the force he felt impact the back of his helmet. He had to step forward slightly with one foot because of it, but he otherwise composed himself quickly. Vanitas whirled around, prepared to strike Ventus again.

Ven landed on his feet just in time to see Vanitas swing at him. He pushed off and rolled to the side, though he winced when he felt the Keyblade hit him anyway.

Vanitas felt his Keyblade make contact, so he went in for another swing. He took a few steps forward to reach Ventus, but he forgot about one thing, and that led to him being sent flying backward with a cry.

Aqua stood in front of where Ven just rolled to, blocking him from Vanitas. He wasn't getting passed her, and she wasn't about to let Vanitas go after him. Vanitas was predictable with one move, and that was getting Ventus. Aqua wasn't about to let that happen.

Ven managed to get back onto his feet in time to see Aqua stand between him and Vanitas, and he knew he had to ignore the pain he now felt in his leg from the attack. He took a few steps forward, moving to go past Aqua and go for Vanitas.
Aqua turned her head, seeing Ven try to move past her. "No," she said sternly, putting her Keyblade out in front of him. She wasn't about to let her "little brother" walk into a fight that could only turn to disaster.

Ven stopped, looking down in surprise at the Keyblade that was in his path. He then looked up towards Aqua's face, his expression showing disbelief behind his mask. "Aqua," he whined. Why was she doing this? They had to focus on beating Vanitas!
"I said no, Ven," Aqua repeated, her voice firm with him. She wasn't letting him get past her. Surely he knew that, and the reason why. Vanitas was stronger now more than ever, which meant that he had a greater chance of getting Ven. That wasn't happening.

Ven shook his head, eyebrows furrowing in disagreement. "Sorry, Aqua," he said, pushing off with his feet and taking a step to the side, in a run as he went past her Keyblade and went after Vanitas.

"Ven!" Aqua shouted in fury, and in fear. She ran after him immediately, knowing that she had to stop him. Having him near Vanitas was risky enough; fighting him one-on-one wasn't acceptable!

Vanitas only smirked behind his helmet. Should've listened to her, kid, he thought, getting into his stance as he waited for Ven to reach him.

Before Ven could reach Vanitas like he wanted, he saw another form out of the corner of his eye, a person in armor who was running over to Vanitas and was closer to him than he was. Terra.

Upon seeing that Ventus had disobeyed Aqua, he ran over and prepared to attack Vanitas so either he or Aqua could talk some sense into their younger friend. He had the time, since Sora was now battling Xehanort. He wanted to have a hand in defeating Vanitas, since the wicked boy had made him worry so much over Ven. He swung his blade, a battle-cry leaving his lips.

Vanitas's senses were on high thanks to the power given to him by Kingdom Hearts, and that was enough for him to feel another form coming his way. The Dark boy turned at the last second, metal clashing with metal as his Keyblade found Terra's.

Aqua felt a sense of relief wash over her at the sight of Terra. One reason was because he was away from Xehanort, and the other was that now she could convince Ven to stay out of this...for his own safety.

Terra grunted, pressing against Vanitas's Keyblade and seeing Ven freeze in surprise a few yards away. "Get him out of here!" he roared to Aqua, obviously referring to Ven. He shouldn't have been anywhere close to Vanitas, let alone battling him this late in the conflict. If Vanitas started fading, then he would trap Ven and force the two of them to merge. He wasn't letting that happen.
Aqua was already one step ahead of Terra, hurrying over to Ven as his cry entered her ears. She ran forward until she was next to Ven, stepping over in front of him and using her free hand to start pushing him back. He needed to leave, right away!

Ven grunted in surprise, stumbling back a few steps before he planted his feet. "Aqua! Terra!" he cried in protest. This was completely unfair! He needed to fight too; Vanitas were here because of him!
"What did I tell you, Ven?!" Aqua yelled, still moving her feet and pushing him back. "You can't fight him! Got it?!" She knew that he felt he needed to battle Vanitas, but it was just too dangerous. He had to go.

"Stop it!" Ventus said to Aqua, the teen again planting his feet so that she couldn't push him back any further. He saw Terra and Vanitas fighting, and he wanted in! He had never forgotten how Vanitas talked badly about Terra in the past; he wanted to take out that frustration on Vanitas right now, not Aqua, who was keeping him from doing that.
Aqua's urging was put to a halt due to Ven planting his feet, and she was done with his objections. "Enough!" she shouted at him. This wasn't a time to argue; it was either life or death, and if Ven stayed here, he would die! Aqua wasn't about to let that happen. She would die before that happened.

Ventus blinked at the holler, his head turning so that he could look at Aqua. She had been firm before, but he could hear rage in her voice now, which was something she never expressed towards him before. She had been strict, and angry, but never furious.
Seeing that Ven was finally paying attention, Aqua continued. "If you're ever going to listen to me, Ven, listen now!" she told him firmly. "Go where it's safe. I'm not going to watch Vanitas get what he wants from you, and neither is Terra!" She had other reasons for him to leave, and if he didn't obey her now, she would state them. Anything to get him away from where his life was most at risk.

Ven looked forward, seeing his friend battling his worst enemy. "But..." he tried, Keyblade loosening in his grasp at how desperately he wanted to be in this fight. But Aqua wasn't letting him, and neither was Terra. He knew why they didn't want him near Vanitas, but...
"Please," Aqua begged over the sounds of battle, looking down at her best friend with desperate eyes behind her helmet. "I'm not going to lose you again, Ven. I'll give up my own life before I watch you give up yours!" She put her free hand back on his shoulder, lightly putting force against it to encourage him to leave. "Now go!"
  • Author
I really don't want to do this! Ven thought, hearing the desperation in Aqua's voice. But he knew he couldn't win this argument; staying would mean that Aqua would keep restraining him, and that would put her in more danger. He wasn't happy to give in, but he wordlessly lifted his free hand and took Aqua's hand off his shoulder before he turned and ran, heading towards the town and away from the battle.
