A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"...The last time I lived with Ven, a super villain set his house on fire," Light said, eyebrows furrowing slightly as she looked at the fire. Of course she didn't want the same fate for Riku's house, but she believed that if anything of the sort happened again, his senses would pick up on it before it got bad.

"Oh...right," Riku said, just then remembering that situation. That was bad, but he didn't think that would happen again. After all, the woman who caused it was dead.

Light only nodded faintly, though she did pull up her legs and wrap her arms around them. She was afraid she'd bring trouble on Ven, Terra, and Aqua, but she wasn't afraid of doing it to Riku. If he was annoyed with all the trouble, he would have pushed her away by now.

Riku looked at Lightning in the silence, waiting a minute before he decided to break it. "To be honest, I wouldn't mind if you stayed," he said softly. He just didn't know what his parents would think, or his friends.

Light hummed softly, looking over at Riku. "I wouldn't mind staying, either," she confessed quietly, able to see his eyes despite the dim lighting in the room. Riku made her feel...safe. Like she could let down her guard for once.

Riku felt a hint of a smile press against his lips, the boy nodding slightly. That was...good. He was actually glad that his home was comfortable enough for Light, since she had only stayed here due to Maleficent and Darkness before. But...now she wanted to stay permanently?

Light felt a little shy at the look in Riku's eyes, and she finally was going to ask the question that was now on her mind. "...Why do you want me to stay?"

Riku's faint smile faded at that, not expecting the question. "Um..." he said, lifting a hand to scratch his cheek as he looked away. How was he supposed to answer that without sounding mushy and stupid?

Light looked away, lifting a hand to tuck back some pink hair. "Um," she said softly, interrupting Riku when he trailed of. "...I think, I already know...I just want to be sure." Was it because he...liked her?

Riku glanced over at Lightning again at her words, a little confused. "Know what?" he asked. What did she know, exactly? What did she want to make sure of?

Light felt herself blush, and she kept her gaze off Riku. "N-nothing," she said. "Nevermind." Did she seriously just stutter? She never did that! She felt her cheeks redden more, but she planned on blaming it on the heat from the fire.

Riku kept his gaze on Light, thinking that he saw her cheeks turn red. But, he was curious. Did she know something? About him...that involved her? Was it what Maleficent said?

"...Back to the question," Light said without looking over. Why did Riku want her to stay with him? That was something that she really wanted to know, and she hoped he answered the question.

Riku blinked at that, lifting an eyebrow. "You mean I still have to answer?" he asked. "I thought you said you already knew why I wanted you to stay." He still didn't know how to even answer the question!

"You still have to answer," Light said with a weak smile. "You're not getting out of it that easily." Even if he didn't know how to answer...well, that was okay. As long as he worded it somehow so she understood.

Riku rolled his eyes, but in good nature. At the same time, though, he was a little worried. How could he answer without giving himself away? He knew what Maleficent said was right, but Light didn't. So he decided that he couldn't say anything to give it away. Not yet. "...It gets lonely, sometimes," Riku admitted, his eyes on Lightning at the moment. "But a lot of that went away when...you were here."

Light blinked, her smile fading away because of her surprise as she looked at Riku. Riku got lonely? She never would have guessed that, since he seemed perfectly comfortable when he was alone. But she supposed he had to get used to that because of how most of his friends were in relationships.

Riku shrugged a little, scratching his cheek again. "I've kinda gotten used to you being around," he confessed softly, a dull rumble of thunder sounding outside. It would be more lonely than before, considering how his feelings for Light were growing. Possibly more than they should have.

Light hummed softly, shifting her gaze to the fire. It's mutual, she thought. She was used to being around him, and while he annoyed her at first, she started liking him somewhere along the line. It was strange how she despised him so much at first, and now...she didn't know.

Riku sensed movement out of the corner of his eye, and he lifted his arm when he saw Jasmine coming over. "...And I don't think I'm the only one," he said with a weak smile, his hand finding Jasmine's head as he looked at her from his spot on the floor beside Lightning. He knew that Jasmine was hostile towards Light at first, but now he saw that she liked her. But not as much as he did.

Light smiled softly, looking past Riku to the dog. Since she was already right beside Riku, she reached across him and lightly petted Jasmine. She was actually becoming fond of the dog too, shockingly.

Riku looked over at Lightning when she leaned over, and that was when he noticed how close her face was to his. It made him stare in a start at first, but then he spoke. "...Will you stay?" he asked quietly, his voice lower than before given her close proximity.

Light took her hand away from Jasmine, though she didn't move away from Riku as she looked up at him. "I'll stay," she said softly, her voice nearly a whisper because of how close they were. She didn't want to be anywhere else.

Riku's eyes were stuck on Lightning's, the boy ignoring how Jasmine licked at his fingers to make him pet her. "Really?" he asked dumbly. As if she was lying.

Light laughed softly, wearing a small smile. "Really," she said softly, subconsciously glancing down at Riku's lips before immediately looking back up at her face. She wouldn't lie over something so...important to both of them.
