A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku let his hand fall from Jasmine's head, though he couldn't help but wear a content half-smile at Light's laugh. That was the first time he'd heard her laugh in a while, or at all. It had been that long. "Good."

Light hummed, her eyes staying on Riku's as her soft smile remained. She hardly ever smiled, but Riku had a way of drawing them out of her more than anybody else. He made her feel...something indescribable.

Riku lifted his hand from the floor, lightly touching the curve where Lightning's neck met her shoulder. "Ven...won't mind?" he asked, voice still low as he glanced down at his fingers trailing over her skin.

Light felt chills at Riku's gentle touch, and she lifted her hand to go on his shoulder furthest away from her. "I'll make him understand, somehow," she assured Riku softly. She didn't know how she'd do it, but...He was mature enough to understand Lightning's feelings if she was open and honest with him.

Riku felt warmth where Lightning touched the skin of his shoulder, also feeling her touch through the strap of his black beater. "Understand why you're staying?" he asked, his voice a little more husky than before as his fingers moved up Lightning's neck. Or was there something else he would need to understand...about both of them?

Light moved her face a little closer to Riku's, her eyes locked on his. "I think you've made it pretty clear," she responded softly, a weak smile appearing on her lips. He didn't say it verbally, but she could tell that he did have feelings for her. He wouldn't be this close to her if he didn't.

Riku's half-smile grew a little, his hand finding a place to rest under Light's ear, against her neck and low on her cheek. "You mean I'm not hiding anything?" he asked. He thought for sure he was a pro, but he guessed even some people managed to see through him.

Light briefly glanced down at Riku's lips but immediately looked back up at his eyes. "You tell me," she said softly. Was he hiding anything fron her? He had a lot of things he didn't express verbally, but she could somehow tell what was in his heart. At least a little.

"I think..." Riku started, his eyes trailing over Lightning's face, lingering on her lips. "...I'd rather show you." Telling wasn't good enough. Words couldn't really express what he was feeling, right now. But...he did this once before, at the castle when Maleficent was there. He could do it again.

Light only smiled softly, looking down towards Riku's lips when he clearly looked at hers. Alright, she silently thought. She was already prepared for it...or so she thought. She wouldn't admit to herself yet that she had feelings for Riku, but her heart knew it and accepted it.

Riku leaned forward, Lightning's smile only encouraging him. His lips came in contact with hers for a second time in his life, his eyes falling closed. This kiss was different; it wasn't rushed or desperate like last time. This one would be better.

Light shut her eyes when Riku's lips touched hers, and it brought back memories of their first kiss. But this time, she would kiss him back. And no enemy would separate them. She lifted her other arm and lightly wrapped it around him, her other hand staying on his shoulder.

Riku felt Light's arm go around him, and that only acted as more encouragement. He leaned into the kiss a little more, his lips moving with hers slowly. She was kissing him back, and that made his heart beat unsteadily, but in a good way.

Light kept her eyes shut, though her heart was racing. Riku's hand was still by her neck and face, but it was the kiss that caught her off guard. It was so...gentle.

Riku pressed his fingers against the back of Light's neck with light pressure, keeping the kiss soft and careful. His stomach was doing flips at the feeling this kind of contact sent through him, but it was okay. It was a good thing. He kissed Lightning for another minute before he pulled back, his eyes opening to look at the girl whose face was still just inches in front of his.

Light kept her eyes shut for a few moments but then opened them, a soft breath leaving her lips as she looked at Riku. She...liked that kiss. A lot. She liked that his hand was still on her neck, and she liked how close they were. It was nice.

Riku's eyes moved from Lightning's pale blue to her lips, remembering how soft they were when he kissed her. He kept his hand where it was, and he liked how her arms were around him. She was close, and he liked it. That kiss... It should have expressed enough.

Light only smiled faintly, a little speechless. She and Riku kissed before, and she dwelt on that kiss for a while after it happened. But now, after they kissed again, she couldn't help but wonder what this made them. They weren't just friends now...were they?

"That was..." Riku said softly, though he trailed off as he looked at Lightning. He didn't know how to describe it. Foreign, but familiar, and also...nice. But could it be bad?

"Mm?" Light hummed in question, her smile fading away in nervousness. Was it bad? She had to admit, she liked it, but what if Riku didn't? She didn't know what she would do then.

Riku smiled a little, his thumb moving slightly along Light's jawline. "...Nice," he whispered softly. He liked it, a lot. He had been so desperate to make Light understand that she couldn't leave the first time he kissed her, but like she said, he was making his feelings pretty clear.

Light's soft smile reappeared, her eyes staying locked on Riku's. She took her hand off his shoulder and wrapped it around him more, the girl hoping her expression showed her feelings. She liked the kiss too.

Riku moved his free hand to rest on Light's side, his other hand still against her neck and face, a few of his fingers in her pink hair. "...I think you liked it too," he said with a small smirk. She wouldn't be this close if she didn't...right?

"No, I hated it," Light said, rolling her eyes to make her sarcasm even more apparent. Her small smile and tone gave her away, and how she kept her arms around Riku. She did like it, so much that she almost leaned up and gave him another kiss.

Riku shook his head a little, playing along. "Shame," he said lowly. "I wanted to do it again." After he said that, he felt his heart skip a beat. He surprised himself by admitting it, but he was comfortable with Lightning. It...was right.
