A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku nodded a little, but then got back on track. "Anyway," he started softly, keeping himself propped up above Lightning. "Are you the clingy type? Or will the lucky guy have some freedom?" He lifted an eyebrow slightly, not saying "I" because he wasn't sure if the kiss meant they were...together or not.

Light felt playfulness rise up in her, and she answered Riku's question in that manner. "The guy will be lucky because I will grace him with my presence as often as I please," she said with a faint smirk. But in all honesty, she would probably be clingy for a little while, after everything that happened. She still didn't understand how she could feel so lighthearted right now after all that.

Riku smirked a little and nodded. "Right," he said. They would be lucky alright. He would be...right?

"He better step forward before it's too late," Light advised. "I'm not one for staying in one place unless I have a good reason." Of course, Ven was the reason why she would try to be at peace in Destiny Islands, but she desired another reason to stay too. The lucky guy Riku referred to.

Riku lowered himself a little bit, closer to Lightning than before. "Good things come to those who wait," he replied lowly. Patience was key, or so he'd heard. But it was true too, since he had to be patient a few years back for Roxas to leave the Organization.

"I prefer to take action right way," Light said, her voice softer once Riku was closer to her. "I don't want to wait around for something that'll never happen." That was pointless, and depressing. She didn't want to live her life with any more regrets than she had to, and she felt like she would regret waiting over many things.

Riku smiled faintly. "What are you waiting for now?" he asked Light, his eyes stuck on hers. If she didn't like waiting around, what was it she was wanting?

"I...don't know," Light said, eyes softening at the subject. "I guess...happiness." That was the only thing she could think of, and that was the one thing she had a hard time creating herself. She waited for happiness to come to her.

Riku felt this conversation take a serious turn, and he kept his eyes on Lightning's. "I'd be willing to help with that," he admitted softly. And he would. He cared too much not to.

A faint smile appeared on Light's face, the young woman nodding faintly as she laid on the ground. "I figured that," she said softly. "After all, you're stuck with me, and I'm stuck with you. And I doubt you want me being a miserable pain in the butt the whole time." Her faint smile widened at her own joke, her gaze staying on Riku's eyes.

Riku shook his head, humming slightly in agreement. He didn't want Light being a pain in the butt either, but he wouldn't have kissed her the way he had if she was really that bothersome. He didn't think she really could be.

"You do realize that we're still going to bicker, right?" Light asked on a similar topic. She and Riku, however close they were, still got into petty arguments. Surely that'd still occur, even if they were...a couple. Was that even what they were? Neither of them seemed to know.

"Heh," Riku laughed weakly, his eyes falling to Light's hands on her stomach before finding her face again. "'Course. Didn't doubt it for a second." All couples got into fights, even if they were stupid. But, if he and Light weren't a couple, he was sure they would still fight; they did in the past.

Light hummed softly, a faint smile on her lips. She wasn't sure what to expect with Riku now, especially since he was acting different now. Like how he was keeping her on the floor. She didn't necessarily mind, but still, this was unusual for calm, serious Riku.

Riku's gaze fell to Lightning's lips again, but he quickly looked back up at her eyes. Kissing wasn't important now...was it? No...there were more important things. Right?

Light felt her expression change to one of curiosity, Riku's gaze confusing her. But in the back of her mind, she also wondered where Jasmine was, since she hadn't seen the dog for a while. That was strange.

"Light..." Riku started, then trailing off. He didn't know what to say. Was he seriously going to ask? No, that would be stupid. He wasn't that...unsure of himself or his actions. He'd always been positive in his decisions. But now...he wasn't.

"Yes?" Light asked softly, tilting her head a little on the ground as she gazed up at Riku. She felt her bangs get into her eyes a little, but she focused on her friend...or whatever he was.

Riku lowered his face closer to Light's, glancing at her lips again. He then lifted his gaze back to her face. "Can I...?" he trailed off again, knowing it was stupid to ask. But...she'd let him, right?

Light felt a soft smile appear on her lips when she realized what Riku was asking, and at the same time, she realized that she smiled more times in one day than she did in a week. Regardless, she lifted a hand to Riku's cheek and nodded to him. Yes, he could kiss her.

Riku smiled at the touch and nod, his face lowering more until his lips came in contact with Lightning's. He continued to hold himself up, but he made sure that he was comfortable as he kissed her...again.

Light shut her eyes at the kiss, her hand remaining on Riku's cheek even when he was closer. She had to admit, she liked this side of him. He wasn't as confident, but he was cute and sincere. It was hard for her to tell that they weren't the same age, especially since they were both mature.

Riku's heart did a somersault in his chest, his lips moving with Light's as he kissed her. He had never kissed anyone before this, but he knew he could definitely get used to it. Being this soft was new, but it was nice at the same time.

Light gently kissed Riku back, moving her hand so that it sat on the back of his neck after a few moments. She heard the soft cackling of the fire nearby, but other than that, she focused on the gentle kiss.

Riku kissed Lightning for a little bit longer, but then he pulled back for some air. But he didn't pull back too far, his face still within close proximity to hers.
