A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light opened her eyes after Riku pulled back without moving her hand off his neck, that being the only thing she could have moved anyway. Riku was still so close, and she was laying under him even as he had himself propped up. It was a little uncomfortable, even if she did like his close proximity.

Riku opened his mouth to say something, but then he felt something tickle the side of his face. Squinting one eye closed, he turned his head, immediately seeing Jasmine sniffing at his face. Well, that moment's ruined.

Light couldn't help but laugh, both at Riku's expression and Jasmine's interference. She lowered her hand, thinking that she should have expected the dog to enter the picture sometime. Even if it broke the heavy romance in the air, that was alright.

Riku sighed a little, feeling Jasmine sniff at his cheek. "C'mon, Jazz," he groaned, pushing himself up and away from Light. He sat on the side he had originally been on before, pushing Jasmine's face away lightly. He should have known that was going to happen.

Light sat up in front of Riku and Jasmine, a small smile still on her lips. She remembered when Jasmine licked her right after she woke up once, so she could sympathize with Riku. But right now, she was choosing to laugh at him, even if she wasn't verbally laughing now.

Jasmine gave Riku a look that seemed to question what she did wrong, and the boy ran a hand through his now-dry hair. He looked to Lightning, a weak smile on his lips. Oh well.

Light shrugged faintly, a soft smile still on her lips. They should have been prepared for Jasmine to interrupt; she was so curious, sticking her nose in everything.

Riku sighed and lay back on the ground, tucking one hand under his head, the other coming to rest on his stomach. He looked up at the ceiling for a moment before his eyes fell on Lightning and Jasmine within his sight. One was a pet that he cared for, and the other was a girl that he didn't think he could live without. Not anymore.

"Riku...Can I ask you something?" Lightning asked, feeling a bit shy. But since they were openly romantic with each other now, she supposed that it was alright if she asked the question that just popped into her mind.

Riku's eyes remained on the girl he had just been thinking of. "Yeah, what is it?" he asked, keeping his position. He was curious as to what kind of question Light could ask after...that. But he would listen.

Light shifted her gaze to Jasmine when she felt shy, the emotion so rare for her that it was uncomfortable. "How long have you...um...been fond of me?" she inquired. Had it just been since that day in Maleficent's castle when she first became her servant? Or was it longer than that?

Riku blinked at the question, but his sight didn't move from Lightning. "A while," he admitted softly. He wasn't about to lie about it. After he showed so much of his feelings toward her, lying wouldn't be smart.

Light blinked in surprise, looking back over at Riku. "Really?" she asked quietly, though she immediately felt as if she should take the question back. He wouldn't lie about that.

Riku nodded a little, keeping his hand behind his head. When was it that his feelings started to grow? After a second's thought, he came to the conclusion that it was just before Lightning turned to crystal. So it was a while.

Light scooted closer to Riku, sitting beside him as he laid on the ground. "Any moment where it started?" she asked softly in curiosity. She wanted to know, because she was trying to figure out when she herself started having feelings for him.

Riku glanced away a little at the question, though he knew it would have come sooner or later. "Just before you turned to crystal, I think," he admitted, looking back over at Light. That was when he believed his feelings toward her began to grow.

Again, Lightning blinked in surprise, the same question as before leaving her lips. "Really?" She was shocked at that, because it was so long ago. And she hadn't sensed anything coming from Riku then. When did it all start in her mind? She wasn't even sure.

Riku nodded again, humming slightly. He wasn't sure what to think of Light's response. Was it good, or bad?

"That's...surprising," Light confessed, glancing over at the dog who was laying beside her and Riku. She reached over and petted her, trying to compile her own thoughts. She hadn't even confessed to herself that she had feelings for Riku until today, but she knew in her heart that she liked him for a little while. Why did she have such a hard time admitting it?

Riku's brow furrowed at the words, his eyes staying on Light even if she looked away. "Why?" he asked softly. Was it because he didn't show it? That had been done on purpose.

"You just...never acted like you did," Light said, faintly shaking her head as she continued petting Jasmine. That was such a long time ago, when she turned to crystal. And then when she awoke, she was in Maleficent's company. It was true Riku had to carry her away from that battle...but she had been too hurt to think about anything romantic or friendly at the time.

Riku released a small breath, staring up at the ceiling now. "...I didn't really know at the time what I was feeling," he explained quietly. "And once I had an idea, I covered it up." He didn't want it to complicate things.

"Why?" Light asked softly, setting a hand on Jasmine's back and looking back over at Riku. Why would he cover up something so...significant? It didn't make sense to her.

"I didn't it want it to make things difficult," Riku replied honestly. Not only would it make things complicated between them, but it would also risk his fighting abilities. His emotions got in the way of his fighting, eventually. In the long run, he guessed it didn't really make a difference.

"So keeping in your emotions didn't make things difficult?" Light asked in confusion, laying down on her back beside Riku as she kept her gaze on him. That logic didn't really make sense to her.
