A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku kept his eyes on Light's for a second before his fell, the boy feeling timid for the first time, ever. He lifted his gaze back to the girl in front of him after a second, forgetting about the mixing bowl on the counter in front of him. All that mattered now was her.

"Um," Lightning said dumbly, slowly removing her hand from Riku's cheek. She blushed at the look he was giving her, surprised that he made her feel so shy so easily. She was never shy; she was always confident in everything. But Riku made her feel different from her normal, guarded self.

"Heh," Riku breathed lightly, glancing down at the counter before his eyes found Light again. "I'll, um, finish breakfast. You go ahead and have a seat." She was probably hungry, so he didn't want to make her wait any longer.

"Okay," Light said with a faint nod. She took a step backwards to give Riku some space, but she didn't know that Jasmine was standing there until it was too late. She tripped over the dog and fell onto her bottom, having a seat other than the one Riku had in mind.

Riku's eyes widened, but then he shut them as his hand came to rest on his stomach, laughter instantly leaving him. He couldn't help it; it was involuntary.

Jasmine crawled out from underneath Light's legs and came up to her face, licking her as a form of apology. "Ugh," Light groaned, though it wasn't because of pain. It was embarrassment. How could she be such a klutz?!

Riku put a hand on his knee, the other still on his stomach as he laughed at Lightning. He opened his eyes to look at her, seeing the sight before him. This was priceless, and totally unexpected. "Are you alright?" he asked through his laughter.

"Just fine," Light said sarcastically, rolling her eyes because of how Riku was still laughing at her. He really wasn't a gentleman, or else he would have helped her up already. Or at least told Jasmine to back off. She lightly turned the dog's face away from her, not wanting any more slobber on her.

Riku shook his head at Lightning, having seen the look on her face. It was enough for his laughter to turn to quiet chuckles. "C'mon, don't be like that," he said, taking a step forward to approach her. He waved Jasmine away, and she backed up a few steps, though she stayed in the room.

Lightning "hmphed", folding her arms over her chest at the same time. I will be like this, she silently told Riku, gazing up at him from her spot on the floor. But of course, she was just playing with him, and trying to cover up her own embarrassment.

Riku was about to offer his hand out to Light, but when she folded her arms, he squatted down in front of her. He let his elbows rest on both of his knees, the boy gazing at her. He gave her a look. "Gimme a break," he said. "It was funny!"

"Glad I could amuse you," Light said sarcastically, seeing the look Riku was giving her. She was actually embarrassed that she wasn't paying attention to the dog, and this was her way of covering it up. If she wasn't so shy about her slip-up, then she would have found it funny too.

Riku let a half-smile fall upon his lips, the boy tilting his head. "Me too," he said. His life would be boring without humor that usually Sora could only provide. But now Light could do the same thing. That was a pretty good thing.

Light softened at Riku's comment and smile, a soft laugh leaving her lips. Alright, maybe she was just overreacting. Riku had slip-ups too, or at least he would in the future. It was time they learned to laugh at each other.

Riku's smile grew a little at that laugh. "Better," he said with a small nod. He could tell she was embarrassed, even if she was trying to cover it up. But, he found that he liked it a little; it was kind of...cute.

"Yeah, yeah," Light said, lifting a hand and waving off Riku's comment. She could tell that he seemed to like it when she smiled, which was understandable. But her smiles were pretty rare, just because she was such a serious person.

Riku's smile only remained, and he offered his hand out to her. "If you don't mind, I prefer you sit in an actual chair," he said, lifting an eyebrow slightly at the older girl in front of him. But then again, age didn't matter. Not really. He still felt the same.

"What, are you afraid that if I stay on the floor, you'll trip over me like I did with Jasmine?" Light teased, though she did set her hand in Riku's. She wouldn't mind sitting in a real chair, since the floor wasn't exactly comfortable.

Riku shook his head. "Nah," he said. "I'm more aware of my surroundings." He stood up then, keeping hold of Light's hand. He was just kidding, of course. But he would make sure not to give her too hard of a time about it.

"Hmph," Light said at Riku's mocking, taking her hand back out of his grasp once she was standing up. She folded her arms over her chest and pretended to be angry, looking towards the dog in the room. He said he was aware of his surroundings, huh? As if she wasn't...most of the time.

Riku took a small step closer, tilting his head as he looked at her. "C'mon, Light," he said softly. "Don't be mad." It was okay, he wouldn't tease her...too much.

"I'm not mad," Light said, faintly shaking her head as she looked back up at Riku with softer eyes. "I'm...embarrassed. I'm not normally that clumsy." But a lot of things were different around Riku, including her sense of balance, apparently.

Riku chuckled a little, though it was soft. "Don't be," he said, referring to being embarrassed. "You don't have to act perfect in front of me, though I do appreciate the effort." He smirked slightly at his own small joke, just kidding around.

"You appreciate the effort because my failure amuses you, right?" Light joked herself, her hands coming down to her sides as she tried to make the embarrassment go away completely. She knew Riku wouldn't mock her harshly because of any slip-ups; she just had to remember that it was okay to laugh at each other.

Riku's smirk grew a little, and he nodded. "Exactly," he said softly. Of course, he was just playing along. Even if the small accident was funny, he didn't like Light feeling embarrassed.
