Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light curled a hand into a small fist, lifting it and lightly hitting Riku's upper arm. "Meanie," she said, surprising herself with the name a child would call somebody else. She kept her first on his arm, though a small smile appeared as she looked up at Riku's eyes.
"'Meanie'?" Riku repeated, lifting an eyebrow. The hit didn't hurt him at all, but he brought a hand to his heart. "Wow. I'm hurt. Really." He tried not to laugh, holding it back. Breakfast was left forgotten at this point, but he didn't care. This was amusing.

"Oh, shut up," Light said, rolling her eyes at Riku's obvious sarcasm. But she wasn't really upset either, actually enjoying this. It was like the little teasing match they had yesterday, the one that Riku won.
Riku leaned a little closer, keeping the same look. "Make me," he challenged lowly. His hand left his heart, the boy waiting for Lightning to make her move. What would she do to shut him up?

"Hmph," Light hummed with a faint smirk, holding Riku's gaze for a few moments before she took her fist away from his arm. She didn't know how to make him shut up, though, so it seemed as if he won their little feud yet again.
Riku only hummed, his smirk turning into a smile. He stepped back and turned around, going back to his bowl of pancake mix. He was definitely amused; Light succeeded.

Light left Riku alone to the pancake mix, going to sit on one of the seats by the counter. She realized that he was silent now, so maybe she found a way to make him shut up after all. Or he was letting her win. Oh well, whatever.
Riku finished mixing the bowl, not feeling uncomfortable with the silence as he turned on the stove. He worked on making the pancakes, a faint smile still on his face. He couldn't really help it, with Lightning around.

Light patiently waited for Riku to finish up with breakfast, the girl not knowing what time it was. She had to admit, though, she was feeling a little hungry. And she was still tired physically and emotionally because of everything that occurred lately.
Riku finished up with the pancakes in a few minutes, and he walked across the room to deliver them to Lightning. He glanced at her once he set the plate down, but then he looked away, lifting his hand to scratch his head as he went to get the syrup.

Light hummed softly in thanks to Riku when he set down the plate, and her eyes followed him when she noticed him scratch his cheek and then go get the syrup. Did he realize he just got a little bit of pancake batter on himself?
Riku grabbed the syrup and brought it over to Lightning, his eyes finding her again as he approached. He saw the look she was giving him and lifted an eyebrow. "What?"

Light reached for a napkin that was on the counter, standing up by Riku. She wordlessly wiped at the pancake batter, a small smile appearing on her lips once the batter was gone. He really didn't pay attention when it came to getting things on his face, did he?
Riku frowned, rolling his eyes a little when he finally figured out what was wrong. "Again?" he said in disbelief, feeling Lightning wipe the napkin over his face to get whatever was on his face off. Usually he wasn't as messy.

Light shrugged, setting the crumpled-up napkin on the counter. "You really should pay more attention to what your doing, Riku," she said, though she was teasing him.
Riku looked at the girl in front of him, nodding a little. "Guess I'm not as aware as I thought," he admitted sheepishly. He just said he was aware of his surroundings, but clearly he wasn't.

"I knew you weren't," Lightning replied with a smirk. She had a feeling Riku would slip up sooner or later, since he seemed distracted lately. Was it because of her?
Riku rolled his eyes, though he lifted a hand to ruffle Light's hair. "Eat," he said, dropping his hand as he turned to go get his own plate. He smiled a little despite what Light just said, not as easily embarrassed as she was.

Light hummed, sitting down in her seat again. "Giving orders again?" she asked Riku, turning her head to look at him. That was a big thing for them yesterday, since her bo--Riku made a big deal out of having authority over her.
"Yup," Riku said, glancing over his shoulder at Light with a faint but proud smile. He then grabbed his own plate of pancakes and made his way back to sit next to her, noticing how empty his stomach was as he looked down at the food.

Light only smiled faintly, shaking her head before she picked up her fork and started eating the breakfast Riku prepared. You're lucky I'm hungry, she thought to Riku. Otherwise, she would have made it a point to disobey him.
Riku sat down next to Lightning and dug in, though he didn't stuff his face like Sora usually did. He had to admit, he'd done it once or twice when he was starving, but he wouldn't do it in front of Lightning. That wouldn't make him much of a "gentleman".

Lightning didn't talk much when she ate her breakfast, though she did get up to get water for herself and Riku. Once she was done eating, she took another sip of her water to wash it down, her hunger satisfied.
Riku turned on his barstool, both of his elbows resting against the counter behind him as he looked over at Lightning. He had finished his meal a few minutes before her, since he ate faster; he was a growing boy after all. "So, how'd I do?" he asked, referring to the quality of the food.

Light set down her glass of water, turning to look at Riku. "It was good," she said honestly, not teasing him in this case. The food really was delicious, and it was a bit surprising Riku could make food that well.
