Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku smiled a little. "Good," he said with a nod. "Now that you're stuck with me, I can't have you complaining about my cooking." He got off his stool and reached for both of their plates so he could clean up.

Light hummed, smiling in good nature as she followed Riku's actions with her eyes. He keeps saying that, she thought. He kept on saying how she was stuck with him, and she was starting to realize just how true that was. He couldn't leave her alone when she was under Maleficent's control, and he wasn't leaving her alone now that she was back home. It was...nice, to have somebody care so much.
Riku approached the sink, but he didn't meet the gaze he felt on his back. Again, he didn't feel like himself; instead, he felt shy. Lightning had a hold on him like no other girl did before. But why?

Light felt shy at her own thoughts, and another one randomly popped into her head. A way to get some space. "Hey, Riku, you mind if I use your computer?" she asked randomly. There was something that she wanted to check.
Riku turned the faucet on, but replied. "Yeah, it's in the living room," he said, motioning with his head in that general direction. He was curious as to what she would need it for, but Light had her reasons.

"Thanks," Lightning said, pushing herself off the seat and walking towards the living room. She had thought about this once or twice in the past, and she believed that because of Cocoon's technology, she could get a signal from their wireless system on Riku's computer. She wanted to see if there was a way for her to get caught up on any recent events in her home world without actually traveling there.
Riku hummed in response, hearing Light start to walk off with his trained ears. For the moment, he focused on washing the dishes, then he would go see what was up.

Light only took a minute to hack into Cocoon's signal from Riku's world, and she was in awe when the page for the military automatically came up. "I wonder..." she murmured softly to herself, typing in her ID code and password. It went through, opening all the resources available to people in the military. Apparently they never removed her from the system. A link automatically caught her attention and she clicked on it, seeing that it was a written report about the events that took place in Palumpolum.
Riku finished in the kitchen, so he left the room and made his way to the living room to see Lightning at the computer. "What's up?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows slightly as he approached. It looked like some...article. But what about?

Lightning looked over her shoulder at Riku when he interrupted, knowing she'd have to explain. "I wanted to see if I could hack into Cocoon's wireless computer system from here to see if I could get caught up on some news," she explained. And it had worked, but now she was distracted by something else.
Riku approached the desk the computer was set up at, the boy putting his hand on its surface and the back of the chair Light was sitting at. "Cocoon, huh?" he asked, his eyes on the screen. He didn't get it. What was so important? He knew it was Light's home, but still.

"My friends still live there," Lightning said when Riku seemed confused. "I wanted to make sure things were alright. But I got distracted." She was curious now about what the news reports said about what happened that day in Palumpolum, when she, Snow, Hope, and Fang caused so much trouble.
"With what?" Riku asked then, his eyes leaving the screen to fall on Lightning. Was something wrong? He didn't think they could handle any more trouble after yesterday.

"An old news article about a situation my friends and I caused in the city of Palumpolum," Light said, looking back at the screen. She scrolled down a little, seeing that there was a video from that day. She remembered seeing a camera there...She and Hope had been broadcast to the world.
Riku found himself even more confused as he looked to the computer screen. Situation? What kind of situation? His eyes fell on the video that could be played, curiosity striking even more at the title. L'Cie?
  • Author
"Hm," Light hummed, clicking to start the video. It started immediately with a voice over, though pictures of Palumpolum from above appeared on the feed. "In a recently convened emergence conference, the Sanctum announced that the fugitive l'Cie have been located. The military plans to apprehend the l'Cie and carry out a public execution."
Riku bent down a little more, keeping his position as he stared at the screen. So it was about l'Cie. But...did it have anything to do with Lightning?
  • Author
"These images coming to you live from the scene in Palumpolum." The camera suddenly landed on Lightning and Hope from above, and as soon as the two of them realized what was going on, they stepped closer to each other. Lightning had pulled out her weapon despite the overwhelming number of soldiers that surrounded her and Hope, her expression in the video conveying her disgust for being caught in that situation.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed at the sight of Lightning, his silent question then being answered. "That's you..." he said without thought, his voice soft. And she looked incredibly ticked off. But who was that boy? He looked no older than Sora.

Light glanced over her shoulder at Riku, nodding faintly to confirm what he said. But the video soon got her attention, so she looked back to it. "These are l'Cie," Rosch said, his voice audible to the camera as the picture zoomed in on her and Hope. "Show no mercy. They aren't people. They're targets."
Riku blinked at the words, though he didn't say anything. He kept his eyes on the screen, watching what happened next in silence.

Lightning recalled that at this moment, she told Hope to start running, and that she'd distract the army. She was prepared to do just that, but then an explosion erupted from one of the other areas surrounding her. The camera left her and went to Snow and Fang, making the girl "hmph" at the memory. She had never actually seen the fight in so much detail, not that there was too much fighting done by Snow and Fang before he summoned Twin Sisters.
"Who's that?" Riku couldn't help but ask, hearing Light "hmph" at the sight of two other people. One of them was brawny guy with blond hair that wore a long coat, and the other was a young woman with brown hair. They looked tough, and clearly were, given what was caught on tape.
  • Author
"Snow and Fang," Lightning responded, watching Snow summon the Twin Sisters and create chaos throughout the whole area. At the bottom of the screen, she noticed that she took the opportunity to run off with Hope, and once she shot down a few soldiers, the camera focused in on the two of them again as she kept Hope close so they could escape.
Riku could only stare, his narrowed eyes on the screen. This was insane. This was what Lightning dealt with as a l'Cie? Everything was total chaos...
