Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The camera went back to Snow and Fang on Snow's motorcycle a few moments later, the two of them riding on ice and shooting all things in their path. Eventually, they shot out the camera and ended the feed all together, the video ending.
Riku didn't know what to say once the video was over, his eyes lingering on the screen for a minute before they went to Lightning. She went through battles like that before? No wonder she was so tough; she had to be.

Light leaned forward, and elbow on the desk and a hand supporting her head as she skimmed over the rest of the article. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she read it, not aware of Riku's gaze on her. She remembered after handing Hope over to Snow, she and Fang managed to avoid the military for a while. But she and Fang had to rescue Hope and Snow, the article now talking about how they managed to wound them.
"This...is what you went through?" Riku asked softly, his eyes lingering on Lightning as she stared at the computer. He didn't hope for it, but was that why she was so tough?

Light looked over at Riku when he interrupted her, perceiving something odd from his tone and expression. "L'Cie were hunted by the whole military, and seen as enemies to the whole world. You knew that," she said. She had told him that a while ago.
"Yeah, I know, but..." Riku said, glancing back to the computer screen as he remembered the video. "...Still, it's so...cold-blooded, inhuman. How they treated you." It resembled Darkness, and he didn't like it.

"You hit the nail on the head," Lightning said with a faint nod. "They didn't treat us as humans, because we weren't human to them. Those soldiers were compelled by ignorance and fear of l'Cie, and if I hadn't known any better, I would have been right there with them." But that changed once she knew the truth.
Riku gave Light a questioning look at that. What did she mean by that? He figured that she was capable of protecting herself and such from battling the nuts who went after her when she was a l'Cie, not knowing as much about her past as she did his.

"I was in the Guardian Corps, a branch of the military," Lightning explained. "And before Serah turned into a l'Cie, I was as clueless as those soldiers. If I hadn't been made a l'Cie myself, I would have seen l'Cie as targets too." It was so awful how ignorant she had been.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, not knowing how else to respond. So she was in the military... That would explain her attire and her abilities. How hadn't he connected the dots sooner?

Light looked back to the computer, scrolling down to see that there were more articles about l'Cie connected to this one. And one of them was about the race in Eden and the murder of Cid Raines. Wait, Cid is dead? Her eyes narrowed at that, the girl clicking the link to that new article.
Riku just felt nosy now, so he kept his position beside Lightning and looked to the computer screen. He saw that she clicked on another article, and his eyes scanned over it as he started to read. Cid Raines? Never heard of him. But that was no surprise, since Riku had never even heard of Cocoon until Light came along.

Light grunted when she saw who killed Cid, her hand gripping the mouse more tightly. She had been unaware of that whole thing; she had only known that he was revived from his crystal stasis. And he was killed...It must have been during the chaos of Pulse enemies invading Eden. She kept reading the article, seeing it go from the topic of Cid Raines to the Pulse l'Cie.
Riku glanced at Lightning at her grunt, his eyes narrowing slightly. Must have been somebody she knew, he concluded. His sight went back to the computer, the boy focusing on the article.

Lightning saw another video in the article, this one showing the disruption of the race. She hummed and pressed play, hearing Cid give a small speech before hand. She fast forward a little bit so she wouldn't hear his voice, seeing the racers get ready to start. She knew that this race wouldn't be completed, though.
Riku saw a clear image of some sort of race, the boy recognizing the vehicles and track. But what importance did this have to anything regarding Cid Raines or the l'Cie?

Light saw the race go on for maybe a minute, but she knew what was coming. Here we come, right about...now, she thought, seeing their ship enter the atmosphere. But it was badly damaged and they all were ejected from it. "Odin!" she called in the video, her summon appearing beside her as Fang also summoned Bahamut and Hope summoned Alexander.
Riku leaned a little closer to the screen when he saw the direction of the video change and focus on Lightning. He'd heard her voice, but now saw her...and with her summon. Odin, he thought. And Fang and some boy with summons of their own. He could already tell from the direction they were all falling that destruction was in store.

The video shifted focus to a racer avoiding the falling ship, and he was sent backwards only to be saved by Snow's Twin Sisters. They caught the vehicle and held it sturdy as snow stood on top of it. "Close call," he said, glancing down at the vehicle before he looked back up and lifted his arms in victory. "And the hero saves the day!"
Riku couldn't help but smirk a little at Snow's speech, already coming to a conclusion. Hero? He's cocky, isn't he? he thought silently, though his smirk faded away as he continued to watch.

"Oh, no, no, you're too kind. No-no, no thank you. Thank you!" Snow continued to the crowd, though the camera then zoomed in on his well-advanced brand and made the crowd stop cheering for him. Realizing his mistake, he lowered his arm and glanced down at the brand. "Probably should have covered that," he said, making Light "hmph" and smirk faintly in humor. That was definitely Snow.
Riku felt the corner of his lip turn up at Snow's quirk, but other than that, he didn't do anything. That brand was stuck in his head. He'd only seen Light's that one time, and it looked nothing like that. At all.

Light saw Snow jump onto his motorcycle and speed off as an announcement was made over the loudspeaker system. "Intruders on the race circuit! Confirmed Pulse l'Cie! All units respond with lethal force!" A crew sped after Snow, but then the camera zoomed in on a young boy jumping down into the middle of the chaos. "Hi there," Hope said to the chocobo that stopped in front of him. Light held her breath in worry and then saw Alexander appear. But she couldn't help but scold Hope under her breath. "If I had known you did something so foolish, Hope..." she murmured, continuing to watch the video.
Hope. So that was his name. Riku hadn't known until now, but he seemed like a brave kid. He could only guess Hope had a lot of growing up to do while being a l'Cie, and he obviously succeeded in doing just that.

The camera shifted from Hope to Snow and then to Lightning, who was riding Odin ahead of everybody else. "Now!" she said to her horse, jumping up off him as he transformed into a knight. She gripped his hand with her free hand and her gunblade in her other hand as he sent her flying, the girl shooting at the cars ahead of her and heading straight for the speeding vehicles with soldiers who wanted to kill her.
