A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light looked back to Jasmine to see what the dog was doing, though her hands were currently set on her knees instead of preparing for the dog to bring back the stick. She wouldn't have been surprised if Riku started throwing the stick now, since Jazzy was his pet.

Riku snapped his fingers, catching the dog's attention just after she picked up the stick. Her ears perked up and she sprinted toward him upon seeing him. He smiled a little and opened his hand to Jasmine's head when she approached. He scratched her behind the ears before grabbing the stick. He then grunted, chucking it across the lawn, seeing Jasmine take off.

Lightning silently observed Riku's actions, her gaze following the throw. Jasmine was so easily entertained. She had to admit, she was starting to like the dog. Just a little.

Riku let his eyes rest on Jasmine for a second before he turned his head to look at Lightning. He didn't think much of her silence, since she was normally a quiet person. his trained ears picked up on Jasmine's paws hitting the grass, so he focused on her again, pulling the stick out of her mouth.

Light watched the action between Riku and Jasmine, though her gaze was focused on the pet. "...She's a good dog," she said softly. She had to admit, Jasmine was lovable and cute, and she did like Riku's pet. Sure, she could get annoyed sometimes, but she had a feeling that was how it was with all pets.

"Mm," Riku hummed, petting Jasmine for the moment. "I initially got her to help out a friend, but that's not the case anymore." Sap or not, he loved this dog. He would have been even more lonely without her.

"Mm," Light hummed with a faint nod, glancing up at Riku and seeing his gentle expression when he petted Jasmine. She was curious about what he meant about getting her to help a friend, but if he wanted to tell her, he would. Right now, she just liked seeing the softer side of Riku.

Riku glanced over at Lightning, a small smile forming in a bit of shyness at the way she looked at him. "Namine, in case you're wondering," he said, turning his gaze back to Jasmine. That had been a tough time for her.

"Oh," Light said with a faint nod, shifting her gaze to Jasmine. She didn't need to know the details; she would just assume that Namine needed a good companion and the dog was meant to be just that. It made sense; dogs didn't really judge people. They just their gave love.

Riku grabbed the stick again when he could sense Jasmine's impatience, and he brought it back before chucking it across the yard. Jazz took off immediately, and he rested his elbow on his knee as he watched her. Sometimes, he believed this was how things were supposed to be; easy and peaceful. Not complicated and dark.

I really don't know much about Namine, Light thought. Or Roxas, or Sora, or Kairi or...even Ven. She had been away from her little brother for so long that sometimes, it felt like she didn't even know him anymore. And everyone believed that he was the reason she stayed in Destiny Islands, but what was she supposed to do if she felt as if she didn't belong? Everyone was kind, but they were more lighthearted than she was. She didn't belong with this group.

Riku felt a light breeze shift his bangs in his eyes, but he ignored it, still able to see clearly. "So, anything you wanna do today?" he asked, opening his hand to Jasmine when she came back. He grabbed the stick and threw it again, which caused the dog to take off.

Light snapped out of her thoughts when Riku spoke, the girl keeping her gaze on the dog despite the wind making her bangs get in her way. "Not really," she said, faintly shaking her head. She wasn't used to this type of life, and she didn't know what there was to do on the Islands. She was an outsider.

"You want to be with Ven?" Riku asked, turning his gaze to the girl beside him. Just because they were dating she didn't have to be with him all the time. After all of Maleficent's Darkness, he suspected Light would want to be with her family.

"Mm," Light hummed with a faint nod. She did, because he was her little brother, but she was nervous to tell him about her and Riku. How was he going to react to them dating? He didn't seem to like Riku these days, but would he trust Light's judgment? It was impossible to predict how Ven would react.

Riku nodded, turning his attention to Jasmine, who was no longer playing fetch with him. She was waltzing around the yard. He watched her in silence, not knowing what to say. If Light wanted to be with Ven, she could most likely find him at the beach.

"...I should probably be alone with him when I tell him the news," Light said aloud in thought. She had no idea what would happen if Riku was there, but she could imagine that it wouldn't be pleasant. It probably wouldn't be pleasant even without him there. She was expecting the worst.

Riku looked down at the ground at that, furrowing his eyebrows a little. "We're gonna have a problem, aren't we?" he asked. If Ven didn't approve, there would be trouble. And that would most likely be the case.

"Most likely," Lightning responded with a faint nod. Ven probably wouldn't like them dating, or her living with him. In fact, she wouldn't be surprised if her little brother forced her to live with him, Terra and Aqua again.

Riku didn't say anything, not knowing what to say to that. He knew the answer to his own question, but still, he didn't like to hear it. He respected Ven's opinions before, but now that his feelings were so strong for Lightning, he didn't know what to think.

"How bad are things between you and Ven?" Lightning asked while watching Jazzy play around in the yard. Riku told her Ven was angry over certain things, but she needed to know the full extent of things before she talked to Ven.

"Pretty bad," Riku responded softly, keeping his eyes on the ground. The last time Ventus yelled at him, a few pushes and shoves were involved. Of course, Riku didn't do anything back; he'd known what Ven said was right, so he didn't deny any of it.

Light stayed silent, not knowing how to respond. She had been hoping for more detail than that, and if Riku didn't elaborate, she'd probably ask him to. She couldn't walk into this blindly.

Riku sighed at Light's silence, sensing what she wanted. He ran his hand through his hair and looked out at Jasmine as she ran from one side of the yard to the other. "When I found out you brought me home, I had to tell the others what happened," he started softly. "Ven was furious, pushing and shoving, screaming. But I didn't fight back. I knew he was right with what he said."

Light looked down at the hand in her lap, her other hand sitting on the step beside her. She couldn't even imagine Ven being that mad, since she either saw him when he was happy or sad. She had never really seen him angry, but considering the circumstances, she supposed that he would be furious. They were family, after all.
