A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"And like I told you before," Riku continued after a few seconds of silence, "the first time he didn't even want you staying with me. After yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if he still hates me." He'd chosen Light to stay, but that had been a trick all along. Maleficent had planned to take her instead, and that would have been Riku's fault as well.

Light looked over at Riku, a look of confusion appearing on her expression. "But you saved me yesterday," she said. Not only did he steal her away from Maleficent's castle, but he also saved her from Barbossa, and he killed Maleficent. That was all a big deal.

Riku shrugged a little. "Ven could think differently," he said softly. He didn't know Ven all that well for as long as he had been with him around the Islands. But, things changed.

Light tilted her head faintly in confusion, thinking a silent question. How? How could Ven see things differently? She obviously wouldn't be here without Riku; Ven had to realize that. Wouldn't that make him warm up to Riku, at least a little bit?

Riku turned his head when he felt Lightning's gaze on him, but he didn't know what to say. He didn't know Ven all that well, and given Light's expression, she didn't know what to think either.

"...Well, no point putting it off," Lightning finally said, pushing herself up from her seat on the steps. She would go and track Ven down right now, and get this over with. And besides, she did miss her little brother, a lot.

Riku tilted his head up a little, his eyes following Light's movements. "Good luck," he said softly. He hoped his...girlfriend would be able to handle Ven if he was still infuriated with him.

"Thanks," Light said with a faint nod, looking down at Riku. She'd need that luck, and wisdom to be able to handle this situation. If Ven was against this relationship that much, then she didn't know what she'd do.

Riku nodded a little, his eyes staying on Lightning's. He hoped things went well, and that Ven would understand that Light could make her own decisions.

"See you later," Light said, nodding faintly to Riku in farewell. She didn't know how long she'd be, but she predicted that it would be a while. Ven wasn't going to accept this too easily.

Riku nodded again, though he didn't know when later would be. Whether she would come back here or he would go find her, he'd want to know how things went.

Light turned around and walked up the stairs, knowing that she'd have to go through the house to get to the front door and then go find Ven. He'd probably be with Terra or Aqua, or even on his way to see her. She wasn't one to get nervous, but in this case, that was what she was feeling. She couldn't handle more drama.

Riku turned his head forward once Light was gone, whistling for Jasmine. She ran over obediently and he started to pet her again, not wanting to think about this conversation between Ven and Lightning. It could be, well, bad.

Later that day

 

Light headed home after spending the whole day with Ven, walking on the beach on the mainland once she tied up her boat. It was dark out by now, and she was tired and weary. Things with Ven didn't go well, not at all. She tried softening him up by having fun with him all day and then taking him to the island to talk, but it still wasn't good. And now she had to go home and tell Riku the news...Terrific. She was glad it was dark out, since she probably wouldn't run into anybody here when it was so late.

Riku had his hands in light fists as he walked down a small path, some of the small lamps posted along it providing some light. Not that he needed any, considering he was used to the darkness. All types of it. But he wasn't out for just a stroll; he was looking for Light, who had been gone all day. He was curious as to how things went, and where she was.

A certain bully and his friends walked on the beach, all of them wondering if they could stir any trouble tonight. Chris caught sight of a girl on the beach first, seeing a slender figure coming in their direction. "Look at that," he said lowly, one of his buddies whistling softly at the girl's attractive appearance even in the dark. Looks like they could make some trouble after all. It was something Chris looked forward to, since he hadn't created any chaos in a while.

Travis walked only a few steps behind his brother, his hands coming out of his pockets when the attention of the group was directed elsewhere. "Heh," he laughed softly. "Break me off a piece of that." Someone his own age next to him chuckled lightly in agreement. He could just see the outline of someone, but they had great curves. He wondered who she was.

Lightning looked up when she thought she heard something, seeing a group up ahead. Boys. She changed her path casually to walk closer to the shore line so she wouldn't have to walk through them, though she then noticed the one in the front and a few others start towards that path as well. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly at that, stopping when there was a few feet between herself and the group. What did they want?

 

"Hey girl, what're you doin' out here this late and all by yourself?" Chris asked, smirking slightly as he stopped a few feet in front of the chick. He could see her more clearly now, though his eyes went down to her mini-skirt. She was hot, so that would make this even more entertaining for him and his boys.

Travis crossed his arms behind Chris, his eyes scanning over the girl's sleek legs and skirt. Nice...he thought. She was definitely a looker, and a hot one at that.

Light's eyebrows only furrowed at how all the boys were looking her over, her hands casually by her sides. "What's it to you?" she asked without flinching to these boys. They were typical teenagers in her eyes, so she wouldn't waste any time with them.

 

"Whoa, feisty!" Chris said with a laugh, taking another step closer to the girl. "You must be new around her. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Chris, and this is my crew. We're the...welcoming committee." He smirked faintly, glancing back at his boys before he looked back down at Lightning.

Travis's lips lifted in a small smirk. Welcoming Committee...yeah right. They weren't even close. If anything, they chased people away, but that always gave them the excuse to start more trouble. One person got boring after a while anyway. But this girl... She seemed like a keeper.

 

Riku passed a few people on his way, nodding to them in greeting when they smiled. He forced a weak one to be polite, but he wasn't really in the mood. He'd been worried about this whole thing with Ven the entire day. What if he hated the idea? Then Light would probably want to make him happy, so she wouldn't be with Riku...

"Welcoming committee? Hm," Light hummed, looking over the group. "You look more like vultures to me." They looked like they were ready to devour her; it was disgusting how they all stared at her.

 

"What?" Chris said in disbelief, keeping up his charade despite the insult. "Girl, you've got it all wrong..." He stepped forward and set a hand on one of her arms, though she took a step back immediately so he wasn't touching her. "We're more aggressive than vultures; we're tigers." He grinned, a soft chuckle leaving his lips. He was the king tiger, and he always got his way first. But it seemed like his boys would have to help him bring down this girl.

Travis chuckled a little at Chris's words, agreeing in a sense. They were the predators, she was their prey. It was just the way things worked. And he was highly sure that they would all get a taste.

"Funny," Lightning said without flinching. "Tigers are pretty smart animals. I wouldn't pin you guys with having that kind of an IQ. You're more like rats, pesky and not knowing your place." She heard some of the guys "ooo" at that, but she only glanced at them before she looked back to this Chris guy. Either he could retort, or somebody in his posse could. Either way, she'd be going soon.

Travis rolled his eyes, shaking his head a little as he looked at this chick. "This 'rat' would like to know something," he said then, his arms still folded over his broad chest. "What's your name, sweetcheeks?"

 

Riku saw the beach up ahead, and he knew that was the last place to look on the mainland. After that, it would be the play island that he checked. But he didn't understand why Light would be there so late. She was usually back at a reasonable time...right?
