Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Chris grunted, looking up to see the fury in Riku's facial expression. He had seen it before, but this was one of the rare times when Riku actually threatened him physically. "I said, your girlfriend's a freak," he said lowly, a faint smirk appearing despite the pain in his head.

Riku gritted his teeth and released Chris's collar with one hand, still holding him up with the other. He launched his right fist at the bully's jaw mercilessly.

Chris already had his hand lowered from his cheek by the time Riku decided to slug him again, and his head jerked up and to the side at how he was punched. Was something broken? He was actually fighting to stay conscious because of the three punches he received tonight, which was ridiculous. Guys, some help here? he thought of his crew.

Riku didn't care if he had his back to Chris's posse and brother, or that Light was seeing this. It needed to be let out. It had been kept inside for far too long.

Travis flicked sand off his hands when he saw his brother getting beat up, and he started at a run to tackle Riku. It was successful, since the older boy fell to the ground and released his brother.

Lightning noticed Chris start recovering once Riku was off him, but her thoughts were elsewhere. The other guys were moving in. She grunted and took a quick step forward, slugging one of them in a gut before kicking another in the same place. She didn't want to cause serious trauma, but she didn't want these guys going after Riku, either.
Riku opened his eyes to find Travis pinning him down, and he squeezed his eyes shut when he felt a punch to his face. The boy grunted and forced himself to roll so Travis was underneath him instead. He threw his fist forward to strike the boy, not caring if he was younger; he was asking for it.

Light became aware of another threat, but it was too late. Somebody yanked at her hair and dragged her backwards, making her cry out in pain briefly. Why did people always do that?! She elbowed the kid and shoved him to the side, scalp aching even after he released her.
Riku tensed at the sound of Light's pain, but he didn't have time to think about it, seeing that Travis was going to try to throw another punch. He blocked it with his left hand before throwing his elbow at the kids face, feeling it impact the cheekbone. Travis grunted in pain, but Riku only shoved him away as he stood up. "It's called a consience, kid," he said. "Get one." Until then, I'll deal with your bother.

Light noticed that Chris was fully recovered now, and some of his other goons were smart enough to run off. She glared at him for a moment without making a move, but then he made a move of his own. He started running away.

Riku turned his head and saw that Chris was running away. He started after him, but then decided it wasn't worth it, so he instead stopped next to Lightning. He wasn't aware of the blood trickling down the side of his mouth, but he did taste it.

Travis pushed himself up and ignored his bloody nose and aching face and body. He started after his brother and the group, passing Riku and Lightning. "Freaks!" he called, though he kept running.

Light only glared after Chris's brother, though she had anger in her gaze. If she had something to throw, than she probably would have thrown it. But she didn't even have her weapons on her, since it would look weird to carry those around on a peaceful island. She curled her hands into fists, staying silent.
Riku watched the group run until they were out of his sight, and he turned his head away from Lightning and spat out the blood in his mouth. That hadn't been what he had in mind when finding Light, but fate obviously had other plans.

Light glanced over at Riku when he spit, but she couldn't see his face because he turned. She looked forward to the town and folded her arms over her chest, still angry. Those guys were all talk; only one of them actually managed to hurt her by yanking her hair.
Riku wiped at his mouth as he lifted his head, his eyes focusing forward before finding Light. "You alright?" he asked softly. She looked angry, and he didn't blame her. Chris and his posse were idiots.

Light looked over at Riku, the blood gone now that he wiped at it. "Mm," she hummed with a faint nod. She was fine, but she wondered if he would ask about what made her cry out. After taking out all of them without a problem, she couldn't believe one idiot managed to sneak up on her. It ticked her off.
"You didn't sound like it a second ago," Riku said, his eyebrows still furrowed. He heard her scream. Who hurt her?
  • Author
"Oh," Light said, diverting her gaze and subconsciously lifting a hand to the hair that hung over her shoulder. "Some idiot just grabbed my hair. That's all." What had even been trying to do, drag her away? That was a dumb move.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, his eyes on Light for a moment before they located the area the posse disappeared to. This beach always had some kind of trouble on it; last time Chris had picked on Sora here. And now Light?

"You okay?" Light asked after a moment of silence, subconsciously playing with her hair and gazing towards the ground as she awaited the answer. She hoped he was good; the fight had happened so quickly that she hadn't been able to see whether or not anybody landed some solid hits.
"That punk Travis managed to land a hit, but other than that, no big deal." Riku looked back over at Lightning once the words left his lips. He wanted nothing more than to touch her, but something was holding him back. What was it?
  • Author
Light hummed softly and nodded, glad to hear it. Well, not glad that Travis landed a hit, but glad that nothing else happened. Those punks were such a hassle; she had just been trying to get home after a rough day, and they made things worse. She was so frustrated with them, and her life in general. When would she catch a break?
Riku set a hand on Light's shoulder gently, fighting whatever feeling he previously had. "Let's just go home, okay?" he suggested. He definitely didn't want to be here right now, and he was sure she didn't either.

Light looked up at Riku, her hand coming away from her hair and back down to her side. "Sounds good," she said softly. But she still had to reveal that "home" may not have been her permanent home just yet. Ven wanted her to move out.
Riku nodded slightly and squeezed Lightning's shoulder before starting toward home. They obviously need to talk. Not only about Chris, but also about this whole situation with Ven, which he managed to forget about for a little while.
  • Author
Lightning started walking when Riku did, remaining by his side and not letting the sand slow her down. She didn't know what to do; she knew things with Ven wouldn't go well, but she didn't realize how torn she would feel. And now she had to think about Chris and his gang on top of everything. Just what I need, more pressure.
