A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Lightning didn't even know which side to be on. She was still recovering from Maleficent, and that was enough for a person to deal with. But now Ven was being a bit overbearing, and she'd watch her back for Chris...She just couldn't handle this much stress.

"...I know he's your brother," Riku started lowly, lifting his head to look at the girl he cared for, "but don't let him make your decisions for you." She was older, wiser. She could surely make her own choices without Ven's input.

"I know," Light responded softly, nodding faintly and opening her eyes. She knew that she had to make her own decisions, but...how could she do that, when she lost herself with Maleficent? She was no longer herself anymore.

Riku pushed himself away from the door at the look on Lightning's face, starting over toward her. He stopped in front of her after a few paces, looking down at her. "And even if I'd like you to stay, don't base your decision off me, either," he encouraged softly. "Do what's best for you." He just wanted her to be safe and happy, after all she went through.

Light looked up at Riku at that, seeing how genuine he was. But she didn't know what to do, or what was best for her. "I don't know what that is, Riku," she said softly, looking up at him. She didn't know what the right choice was here.

Riku didn't know what to say to that at first, his eyes just gazing into Lightning's. Once a minute passed, he decided to speak. "If you stay here, there's no doubt in my mind that he'll be upset," Riku explained, speaking of Ven. "The last thing you need taken from you after everything is family. So...go stay with him." He didn't want Light to leave, but that seemed like the best choice. Light could stay here any time she wanted; she would always be welcome.

"If I move in with him, then I'll never see you," Lightning stated softly. Ven said he would keep her to himself, and she didn't doubt that. He was probably scheming of things to keep her busy right now.

Riku frowned a little at that, knowing the truth in that statement. But... "I'll see you. I have my ways," he said softly. He was one with Darkness in the past, which meant he learned to lurk around every corner and hide in every shadow. He could sneak off and see her some time...hopefully.

Light nodded faintly, unfolding her arms and looking up at Riku. She didn't know what he had in mind, but she knew that if it got too bad, she would have to step away from Ven. But she couldn't imagine herself doing that, since he was her little brother. And he was just doing what he thought was best for her...How could she be mad at him for that?

Riku kept his eyes on Light, lost in thought for the moment. He would have to see Light when no one else was around, or knew about. They would have to sneak around behind everyone's backs. He wasn't one to keep secrets too often, not unless they were really important or harmful. Was this one of those times?

"...Ven, Terra, and Aqua's house isn't completely rebuilt yet," Light said, saying her thoughts aloud as they came to her. "And their current house doesn't have a bedroom for me. Maybe Ven will let me stay here until the house is finished." But how long would it take for them to complete it? Not long, considering that now they were done running around from world to world and had time to work on it.

"If he hates me that much, he might ask Kairi to let you stay with her," Riku said, glancing to the side. The mayor had a larger house than most on the Islands, which meant plenty of extra room. Lightning would stay there if Ven wanted it that way.

Light looked down at Riku's chest, realizing that he was right. He hadn't said it today since he was fuming over everything, but tomorrow could be different. She wished that day wouldn't come, though she expected it wouldn't be as bad as today was.

Riku wanted to hold Lightning, getting the sudden urge. But he felt that he couldn't, that it would be looked down upon. By her little brother, of all people. Riku knew he respected Ven's opinions, since he was a smart kid and barely younger than him. But still...it was aggravating that his happiness would get pulled from him just after he found it.

"...I'll try and reason again with him tomorrow," Light said softly without looking up at Riku's face. It was their only hope. Maybe he would cool down over night...Maybe Terra and Aqua would talk some sense into him. She just hoped he wouldn't stay so mad at her.

"Don't make it worse," Riku warned softly, his eyes finding Lightning then. If she pushed it too far, Ven would be even more mad. That was the last thing that was needed right now.

Lightning shook her head faintly, looking back up at Riku. "It can't worse than it already is," she declared sadly. Ven was angrier than she could have imagined, and she couldn't see him reacting any worse to this situation than he already was.

Riku felt his hopes of things getting better die at the words, but he slowly nodded. Things were that bad, which meant it would be difficult to make Ven change his mind. Riku knew a lot of what happened to Lightning was his fault, but he fought even harder to protect her. And he'd done just that. Didn't that mean anything to Ven?

Light saw the sorrow in Rikus' expression, whether he meant to show it or not. She glanced down and saw both his hands by his sides, so she reached out with her hands and lightly grasped his. Ven wanted her to break up with Riku, but she wasn't going to. She couldn't.

Riku looked down at his hands when Light grasped them, still not used to such an intimate touch. Regardless, he let his fingers curl around Lightning's smaller hands, holding them in his own. He still liked her, even if Ven wasn't fond of the idea.

Light felt a little warmer inside when Riku held her hands, her gaze down on one of them. She hoped this didn't end their newly-found relationship. She knew how persistent Ven could be, and she just hoped that he came to his senses soon and saw that Riku wasn't a bad guy.

"...Does my past have anything to do with this?" Riku asked after a minute, keeping his gaze down on their hands together. "With Ven's opinion?" That was his only guess, unless what happened with Maleficent was really all that shaped Ven's thoughts.

"...Sort of," Light said after a moment of thought. Ven was judging Riku by what happened in his past with how he treated Sora and how he suffered, and Kairi for the same reason. His friends had really been hurt during that time, and Ven believed Lightning would be hurt even worse.

Riku's grasp on Lightning's hands tightened a little. "What about it?" he asked quietly, his voice showing that he had suspected such a thing, and hated it. All because of Maleficent and Xehanort, and his weaknesses. They ruined everything.

"...Riku, you don't want to know," Lightning finally said after a few moments of staring at his chest. She tried thinking of countless ways to phrase it, but all of them would be hurtful. She couldn't tell him all the terrible things Ven said...
