A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku grunted a little, looking back to the sink. He had been hesitant to say something, but...Light was still his girlfriend, right? He didn't have to hide things from her.

"...In that case, I've missed you too," Light said with a faint nod, looking up at Riku. She hadn't felt close to him emotionally for a while; she was so tired and stressed and overwhelmed that she hadn't been able to feel the peace Riku provided for a while.

Riku's lips turned up faintly at the corners, but he didn't know what to say. They had the day to themselves, but what could they do? Now that they had the time, he wasn't sure what he wanted to do first.

Light smiled faintly, and she looked down to see that her hands were clean because she had wiped them off on the rag to keep them from being bloody. She folded them in her lap before she looked back up at Riku, wondering if he had any ideas about how to spend the day.

Riku saw how close Lightning was, right next to him, but he still stepped over, putting his hands on either side of her as she still sat on the counter. She was at his height from her position, and he looked right at her in silence, not knowing what to say.

Light didn't feel intimidated by Riku's closeness, though she noticed how he set his hands on either side of her as if to keep her in that spot. It wasn't the first time he pulled that move; she recalled him doing it to her on the porch swing a while ago, and when she was laying on the carpet the other night. "...Why do you always box me in like this?" she asked softly in curiosity, though her voice showed that she didn't mind Riku maintaining this position.

Riku automatically looked down at his hands at the question. "I guess...it feels like I got you right where I want you," he said softly, his eyes finding her again. "Right in front of me."

Light felt herself smile at Riku's sincere response, finding it surprisingly romantic. She never thought she would be big on romance, but she liked hearing Riku say such a thing. And she liked being in this position, too.

Riku tilted his head slightly, keeping his position. "I'd hope that's not a bad thing," he said with a light smile. If it was, well, they'd have a problem.

"No, it's not a bad thing," Lightning responded softly with a faint smile, shaking her head faintly. If anybody else tried to get this close to her, they'd have issues, but Riku was different. He saw through her mask.

"Good," Riku said with a nod, leaning a little closer. "Because if it was, I'd have to restrain myself. And sometimes, I'm not too good at that." Like the first night, when he kissed her for the second time in his life. That had been something that wasn't only impulsive, but something he wanted. And he wanted to be close to her.

"Most of the time you're not good at that," Light said with a faint smirk. She saw a very impulsive side of Riku, though she knew that used wit and planning in the past to help out Sora. But with things concerning her, Riku seemed pretty rash.

Riku rolled his eyes, his half-smile growing a little with amusement. "Same thing," he said dismissively. Either way, he would have a hard time keeping himself away from her. Ven could try, but it was a two-way street. He had to get to Riku too.

"Not really," Light disagreed with a faint smirk still present on her lips. "Most" and "sometimes" were two different things, but she was just pointing it out to (playfully) spite Riku. She normally wasn't playful at all, but with him, she felt relaxed enough to have a little fun.

"Like I asked, know-it-all," Riku taunted quietly, his eyes on Lightning's. He was glad things weren't as serious anymore, but still... He meant what he said. His feelings were growing every day, even if it was just a little bit.

"Like I care, wise guy," Light returned softly, though she felt a little silly for using that name. But it was the only one that she could come up with, so that was what she used.

Riku only shook his head, glancing down at Lightning's legs. "Whatever," he mumbled. He would go with what she said, for now, but he was serious. He wanted to feel close to her again.

Light smiled softly, able to tell that she won this round of their little taunting session. But only because Riku seemed set on being serious right now. That was okay, though, because she knew Riku was a serious person most of the time. She was the same.

"I think you might know why I have problems, most of the time, restraining myself," Riku said, looking up at Lightning from under his lashes. She knew, she had to. It was her. Always.

"Yeah?" Light asked, though she had a feeling that she did know why Riku had problems restraining himself. He liked her that much...? That was crazy, because they had only been a couple for two days. But she knew that it was true anyway.

Riku's half-smile remained, and he nodded. Yeah, he thought she did. Couldn't Light see it too? He kissed her so long ago, for the first time, and before that, he noticed he had something different with her. There was something like a connection, but he didn't know for sure at the time. But now he believed it was.

"Let's say I don't know," Lightning said, shyly glancing away from Riku before she looked back up at him. "You want to give your reason now?" She wanted him to say it verbally, just because she could.

Riku lifted an eyebrow, tilting his head a little as he looked at the girl directly in front of him. "Maybe..." he said slyly. Or he could make her work for it, or not give it at all, though that would kind of defeat the purpose of this conversation.

"'Maybe'?" Light repeated with an arched brow. It wasn't nice for Riku to lead her on and then not give her an answer. She wanted to hear what he had to say, but he seemed content with keeping it to himself.

"How bad do you want to know?" Riku asked, keeping his eyes on Lightning's. If it was that bad, maybe he could play around with this. But he wouldn't make her suffer too long, not like what he did with Sora.
