A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Oh, I might just die if you don't tell me," Lightning said dramatically, shaking her head faintly as she joked around with Riku. She was curious about it, yes, but she wasn't going to get too hung over it.

Riku took his hands back, standing up straight. "Drama queen," he commented with the same crooked smile. Taunting, of course, was one of his specialties. He wouldn't be as harsh with Light, for obvious reasons, but he still got to have fun with her...right?

"Name-caller," Light taunted in return, a faint smile on her lips. Riku had called her names a lot in the past few minutes, not that she really minded. It was all in good fun.

"Name-caller? That's a new one. Usually Kairi calls me a 'big jerk'," Riku replied, crossing his arms as he thought about times he'd picked on her in the past. When they were younger, the "jerk" had been "meanie", but that was besides the point.

"I can call you a big jerk if that's what you prefer," Light said with a smirk, though she couldn't imagine Kairi using that name for Riku. What did he taunt his friends a lot? She could sort of imagine him doing that.

"Actually, I'd prefer my girlfriend doesn't call me that," Riku said, thought he was a little surprised he spoke to Lightning about her being his girl. But why should he be? That was what she was...

Light shrugged, the same smirk still present on her lips. "If the shoe fits..." she said, trailing off after that. If Riku really deserved that name, then that was what he would be called. At least jokingly.

"It doesn't," Riku replied, taking a step back and leaning against the wall opposite Lightning. "I happen to be quite charming, if I do say so myself." That was what he believed, and he hoped it was right. Concerning Lightning at least.

"Oh yeah?" Light asked with an arched brow, getting down off the counter when she had more space. Was it weird they were having this conversation in the bathroom? They had been cleaning up her wounds, and then they just sort of stayed there even after it was done.

Riku nodded once, putting one foot against the wall behind him as he leaned against it. That was what he believed, and unless Lightning changed his mind, that was the way it would stay.

"Tell me the most charming thing you've ever done," Lightning said, setting a hand on the counter behind her as she looked at Riku. She was curious, and if it brought up a good story, then they'd get some entertainment from that.

"My interactions with you don't count?" Riku asked softly, tilting his head a little. If not, then maybe he could come up with something. It couldn't be that hard.

"...I guess they could," Light said with a faint nod, having thought about it for a second. But she wanted to hear if he was charming apart from meeting her, too.

Riku studied Light's expression for a moment, his small smirk growing a little when he realized something. "You want another example, don't you?" he said knowingly. It wasn't that hard to figure out.

"Maybe," Light said with a faint smirk and a shrug. If Riku wanted to give her another example, great. If not, then she would deal. What other choice did she have?

Riku had his fair share of flirting when his life used to be considered "normal". "Sincerity always works. Girls were always falling for that, and the smile," he said. His "crooked" smile from what he'd been told, whatever that meant.

"You have a lot of girls falling over you?" Light asked, having not even considered the thought before. Riku seemed like so much of a loner that she never even thought about him being interested in anybody else before.

Riku shrugged a little. "Guess so. Never gave it much thought," he told Lightning honestly. He remembered Wakka saying something about it in the past, but Riku was too hung up on leaving the Islands to really pay attention. As of now, he still didn't pay much attention. "I was stupid when I was younger, though. I led girls on, but I was never really interested." Kairi had been somebody of interest, though, but he knew after a while that Sora was the one meant for her. Not him.

"Mm," Light hummed, not knowing how else to respond. Was that jealousy she was feeling? Protectiveness? No, she shouldn't have liked Riku that much so early on. She was just feeling...fortunate, that Riku took interest in her and not the other girls on the Islands.

Riku nodded a little. "But then you showed up, and everything changed," he said softly. He didn't know why, but things just did. He was...okay with it, really. He knew his feelings for Light, however weak or strong they were at this point, were real.

"...Why am I so special?" Lightning couldn't help but ask, her voice soft. She changed something big for Riku, and she hadn't even shown any signs of interest until just a few days ago.

Riku looked away at that, not knowing how to respond right away. "I...don't really know," he admitted, lifting a hand to rub at his hair. Things just...happened. He didn't know how to describe it.

Light glanced down at the floor, not knowing what to say at Riku's response. If he didn't understand it, then how was she supposed to? She was so sure nobody could get past the mask that she wore, but Riku did. It was...baffling.

"But...apparently being different has its perks," Riku said, looking back over to Lightning. He actually liked that part of this whole thing. Lightning was different than other girls, unique. It was something he found appealing.

Light looked up at Riku again, humming softly in question. Perks? What in the world was that supposed to mean? She didn't quite understand what Riku meant.
