A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Me neither," Lightning agreed with a soft nod. She didn't want to fight at all, all her urge to battle having left her a long time ago. It was because of all the terrible things Maleficent had her do...It changed her so that she was less aggressive and more passive. Was that good or bad?

"Good." Riku just wanted them to have a nice time together, since Ven was busy. He was still trying to get Light to move back in with him, and to stay away from Riku. If Light wasn't sleeping, she was with Ven, which left Riku hardly any time with her.

"So let's do something so fun and relaxing that it'll be impossible to argue," Lightning suggested, surprising herself. Fun? Since when was she into that kind of thing? She hardly had any fun in her life at all, but now she wanted it. She wanted happiness.

"Heh," Riku laughed softly. "What do you suggest?" He was fine just being with her, since her presence was calming to him. But what did Light want to do? That was important to him too.

Light shrugged faintly, though her hand didn't come off Riku's chest. "I don't really know what there is to do around here," she said honestly. She was still new to the Islands, so she didn't know what there was around here that could be fun. But Riku lived here his whole life, so hopefully he could come up with something.

Riku looked away in thought. "Depends on what you count as 'fun'," he declared quietly. Movies, lunch, the beach... There were a lot of things to do now that he thought about it.

Light was tempted to shrug again, but she didn't. "I haven't had fun in years," she admitted softly. "So I don't know anymore what I consider 'fun'." As long as she was with Riku, she'd be happy.

Riku lifted an eyebrow. "You serious?" he asked Lightning in disbelief. Years without the slightest bit of happiness? Fun at all? Had she even laughed in that amount of time?

"I'm serious," Lightning responded with a faint nod. She really hadn't had fun in years; she smiled every once in a while during that time, but most of the time, she was serious. It was how she was.

Riku squeezed Lightning's arm before running it down to her hand, which he gripped before sitting up. "We're changing that today," he said with a faint smile, hoping it would help. He was still distressed about his past with Darkness, but he would put it aside for Lightning's sake. Fun was more important anyway.

Light felt herself smile softly, just like she always did whenever she actually smiled. When was the last time that she smiled fully, with her teeth showing? It had been a very, very long time.

Riku's smile grew a little at the sight of Lightning's, and he figured they could stop somewhere for a bite to eat before actually doing something. Of course, he planned of steering clear of where Ven was with Terra and Aqua; Ven wouldn't be happy to see her with him.

"What do you have in mind?" Lightning asked once Riku sat up, her hand still in his as she looked to him. She was curious, but at the same time, trusting that he would pick something good for them to do.

"Well, I was thinking some food for starters, and then we'll do something fun," Riku said with a small nod. He wasn't sure what yet, but maybe during dinner he could find out what it was that Lightning liked, and feed off that.

"Mm," Light hummed with a faint nod of her own. That was alright with her, because she was a little hungry. But it seemed like Riku hadn't thought of anything fun for them to do yet, so she hoped he would come up with something eventually.

Riku nodded, squeezing Lightning's hand in his. "Let's go," he said, motioning with his head toward the door. He would come up with something she would like if given a little time, he was sure.

Light stood up from the bed, not releasing Riku's hand when she did. She was set; hopefully the day would go better from this point forward and they would both enjoy themselves.

Riku took Lightning to a small cafe where they ate some lunch and got to talk about things. The conversation helped him get to know her better, which is how he came up with an idea. He was leading her to that spot now, after taking her home and advising that she change into something she doesn't mind getting wet. It was a longer walk, but Riku had a feeling it would be worth it.

Lightning walked beside Riku on the path, dressed in a black tank top and black shorts. She had on flip-flops too, though it was a little strange to walk in something other than her usual boots. But she couldn't get the boots wet, so these shoes were the next best thing. Why were they walking this far, when they could just swim on the beach?

Riku had his hand in Lightning's, and as they walked up an incline, he looked over at her. A small smile formed on his lips at her just being with him, and the fact that she would like this. Given her past, Lightning wouldn't have a problem with heights. That was definitely going to help with this idea. Riku turned his head forward, walking up the hill a little further before the area became flat, revealing a cliff.

Light glanced over at Riku after he looked back forward, her curiosity present on her expression. She sensed a difference in the area in front of her and she looked ahead, seeing that the area was flatter now. And was that the edge of a cliff up ahead?

Riku had taken off his vest and normal attire when he took Light home before to change, so now he just had on a t-shirt and some navy swimtrunks that he normally wore on the beach. He kept his grip on her hand as he approached the ledge, stopping a few feet away to look at her. "Surprise," Riku said with a crooked smile. This was the idea he had, and the one he neglected to tell her about when she asked earlier.

Light glanced back over at the cliff, seeing past it to the ocean way down below. "You're going to shove me off the side of a cliff?" she asked in amusement, looking back over at Riku. Of course, she had a feeling she knew what his real idea was. Cliff diving.

"Hmph," Riku hummed in a small amount of amusement. "You know me too well." Of course, he wasn't just bringing her up here to shove her off; she would jump off. Dive. Cliff-diving, to be exact.

"Hm," Lightning said with a smirk. Yeah, she was getting to know Riku pretty well, and because of that, she knew he wasn't seriously going to push her off the cliff to try and get rid of her. As if he could actually kill her anyway.
