Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Now what're you laughing at?" Light asked, giving Riku a look when he floated on his back and chuckled. Of course, she assumed he was laughing at the conversation they were having. What else could he laugh at?
"Wouldn't you like to know," Riku said with a small smile. He didn't turn his head to look at her, knowing that would mess up his balance. He stayed floating on his back, not having a care in the world at that moment.

Light smirked, swimming a little closer to Riku even though the already were close. She set a hand on his chest and gently pushed him under, this being her form of punishment. It wasn't nice to keep secrets.
Riku managed to suck in a breath before he went under, though he twisted his body once he was under the water. He lifted his hand and grabbed Light's wrist that was on his chest before and resurfaced, the boy shaking his head of wet hair.

Light lifted her free arm to block the water droplets that came off Riku's hair, the girl shaking her head a little at the action. "Charming," she said sarcastically, a faint smirk on her lips.
Riku opened his eyes to look at Lightning, feeling water drip down his face. "You know, that wasn't very nice," he said, referring to her action just a moment ago. Dunking him when he was unprepared? How childish.

Lightning shrugged, moving to float on her back even if Riku had a hold of her one wrist. "What're you going to do?" she challenged as she looked up at the sky. Surely he wouldn't try dunking her back.
Riku released Lightning's wrist, letting his hand travel up her arm as he kept himself upright in the water. "Well, I'm not going to dunk you when you're unprepared," he said. "That's a little childish, don't you think?"
  • Author
"Nah," Lightning said in disagreement, a small smirk on her lips. "It's not childish at all. It's just not very gentleman-like." So she could do it to him, but he couldn't do it to her. That was why she reasoned the way that she did.
"Okay, then what do you suggest?" Riku asked, keeping his one hand against Light's arm while the other went to rest on her waist on the opposite side of him. If he couldn't dunk her, what could he do?

Light turned her head to look at Riku, her balance not affected by the movement or his hand on her waist. "Like I'm actually going to help you plan revenge," she said with the same smirk as before. That would be a dumb move on her part.
Riku rolled his eyes. "Right. You're the warrior," he said, managing to stay afloat due to his familiarity with the water. Light was the one who fought off evil, and right now, he was probably "evil", her "enemy" given the situation.
  • Author
"What's the supposed to mean?" Lightning asked, genuinely confused. That was so random, and seemingly irrelevant to her. Where did that come from, and how did it connect with this situation?
Riku smirked, taking his hands off Lightning. "Oh nothing," he said swimming back a few feet in the water. He would let her think about it for a little while, not that he thought it was that hard to figure out.
  • Author
"What, are we in war?" Lightning teased once she felt like he understood, her gaze on Riku even when he moved away. By why did she wish that he was closer again? It was irrational to feel that way.
"Maybe," Riku said, stroking so he moved back a little more. "But say we were... You would be 'Light'." He was referring to her name and element as well. "I guess I'll have to take the role of Darkness in this one."
  • Author
Light shrugged in the water, looking back up to the sky. "A name doesn't mean everything," she said. Due to her personality, more people would probably associate her with Darkness than anything else, anyway. And Riku, based on his status as a Keyblade wielder, could just as easily represent the Light.
Riku shook his head, staring down at the water he was in. "Guess not," he admitted softly. But it could still be a little detail to play with in this "war", or that was at least how he saw it.
  • Author
"But I guess I could be Light if you want me to be," Lightning said with a soft sigh of defeat, though she was just being a little dramatic. She really didn't care, and she didn't know how far they were going to take this "war" thing anyway.
Riku smirked slightly, his eyes finding Light again as he moved to swim slowly around her. "I'm experienced with my element, you know," he said, keeping his sight on the girl he cared for. "You better watch out."
  • Author
"What, you actually plan on using it?" Light asked, shifting her position so that she was floating upright in the water. Riku was circling her, and she followed the movement with her eyes. What did he have in mind?
"That depends," Riku answered slyly, keeping his eyes on Light as he continued to swim around her. "Are you going to make me?" If he was forced to against his will, he would.
  • Author
"I dunno," Lightning said with a shrug. "You have a pretty big advantage over me right now anyway. It's not like I have any kind of weapon." Her sword and knife were at home.
"Hm," Riku hummed softly, his smirk still on his face. "Darkness has its ways." He didn't know if he meant that bitterly or proudly, but he would go with the latter for now. It was a time of peace, not worry.
  • Author
"Hm," Lightning hummed, not sure how else to respond to that. Riku had a lot of advantages on his side, and he seemed to recognize that when he spoke of the Darkness. But oh well; she didn't feel like having a physical confrontation, and neither did Riku.
