Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Looks like there's a cave in the side of the cliff," Light said without looking away from that. She couldn't see the cave itself, but the currents said that it was there. Had Riku never noticed it before?
Riku swam forward to be a little closer to Light, following her line of sight. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed when he thought he saw what she was talking about. "...Didn't know that was there." He'd never seen that before.

"Hm." Light furrowed her eyebrows slightly to look at it, but other than that, she didn't do anything. It would be extremely dangerous to go in; the waves could send them hurtling against the rocks. That would be fatal.
"I would say we check it out, but I don't think that sounds like such a good idea." Riku let his eyes stay on the cave that obviously visible to him now. Rocks were too close, and the water was starting to get a little rougher. It wouldn't be the best choice.

"Maybe some other time," Lightning agreed with a faint nod. The waves were too rough right now, and she didn't feel like getting herself killed. Today was a day to relax.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a small nod, his eyes lingering on the cave for a little while longer. His head turned to look at the girl floating beside him after a minute, wondering what they could do now. This was nice, but it was starting to get colder, and the waves were getting rougher.

Light looked over to Riku when she felt his gaze on her, and she folded her arms over her chest while keeping herself afloat by kicking her feet. The waves were getting harder out here now too, and the water was getting cooler. And the sun was getting lower in the sky...was it almost sunset already?
Riku saw Light's position and expression, and he made a decision. "Let's head back," he suggested softly. They would have to go back up to the cliff to get their things, but that wouldn't be such a big deal; he would take Light's advice and use his glider this time.
  • Author
"Alright," Light said with a faint nod, unfolding her arms so she could swim. She'd start swimming to shore just as soon as Riku did, since she wouldn't leave behind now. If he didn't know it by now, he should have; he was stuck with her.
Riku nodded slightly and then focused on the land beside the cliff, starting to swim toward it. It would only take a minute, since they were pretty close to the cliff anyway.

Light followed Riku's lead, though she then had an idea. "Race you," she said, starting to swim faster to pass him. A little friendly competition in their "war" wouldn't have any harmful effect.
Riku smirked. "You're on," he said, immediately starting to swim the fastest he could. He wasn't sure of Light's speed in water, so whether she won or lost would be a surprise to him.
  • Author
"Heh," Light breathed a laugh, keeping up her fast pace. She wasn't the best swimmer, but she was good enough. She wouldn't be surprised if Riku beat her though, since he lived on an island surrounded by water.
Riku continued with his fast strokes, and he was the one to reach land first. He walked up the area of sand that made a small beach, his shorts dripping with seawater as he tried to catch his breath.

Light came to shore a few moments after Riku, more breathless than he was because swimming was a challenge. She stood on the edge of the beach and bent down slightly, setting her hands on her knees and lowering her head as she focused on breathing.
Riku set his hands on his hips, turning around to look at Light a few feet away. "Heh, beat you," he said with a small smirk, still trying to catch his breath.
  • Author
"Yeah, yeah," Light said, standing up a little more and lifting a hand to wave off Riku. She wasn't surprised he beat her; he grew up near an ocean. Of course he was going to beat her at a swimming competition.
Riku chuckled a little, eventually catching his breath. After he managed to do that, he summoned his Keyblade to him and chucked it into the air, calling to his glider. It appeared a few feet in front of him on the smaller beach, ready to ride.
  • Author
Light "hmphed" at the appearance of the glider, still thinking it's pretty cool how Riku could summon his Keyblade in the form of a glider. And how he could summon armor, too, not that he was going to do that right now. He didn't need to.
Riku held out his hand to Lightning when he looked back at her, a weak smile on his lips. He couldn't really help but smile around her sometimes; she brought that out of him.
  • Author
Light smiled faintly, glancing down at the hand that was offered to her. She took a step forward and slipped her hand into his, finding it cute how he always wanted to hold her hand.
Riku's fingers automatically closed around Lightning's hand, the boy taking a step closer to the glider that was hovering a couple feet above the ground. He kept his hold on Light's hand, preparing to help her up.
  • Author
Light shifted her gaze to the glider, seeing it a few feet off the ground. Couldn't Riku just have it hover right over the sand if he wanted to? Oh well; she didn't mind hopping up.
Riku helped Light up to the seat of his glider before he hopped on as well, sitting in front of her. He set his hands on the handlebars, though he turned his head to look over his shoulder at her. "Am I going to have to make sure you don't fall off this time?" he asked with a faint smile. He'd had to do that in the past, when she was ill.
  • Author
Light smiled weakly, shaking her head. "No," she said, wrapping her arms around Riku and feeling his bare back against her torso. "I'll stay awake this time." She didn't plan on passing out any time soon.
