Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Good," Riku stated with a nod. He turned his head forward, though he couldn't ignore the feeling that coursed through him at Lightning's touch against his back and stomach. Regardless, he moved the glider up into the air, heading for the top of the cliff.

Lightning knew that the ride would be pretty short, but she kept her arms wrapped around Riku anyway. She liked holding him, and honestly, this was a good excuse to do just that.
Riku made his way up the cliff, smiling to himself. He couldn't help it; Lightning brought that out of him. He would take in the feeling of her being so close, though he knew that he would have to let her go soon.

Light took in Riku's warmth, her gaze looking over the ocean to the sun setting. She remembered several times when she held Riku like this before, but none of them were so intimate. She had secretly liked the other times, but this time was her favorite by far.
Riku's glider reached the top of the cliff, and he steered it around the ledge as he spotted their stuff. He lowered the glider closer to the ground and glanced back at Light. "Hey, could you get our stuff?" he asked gently. He didn't see a point for both of them to get off the glider, and since he was steering...

"Yeah, sure," Light said with a faint nod. She released Riku, her fingertips briefly running over his abs before one hand found his shoulder. She lightly grasped it as she changed position and then jumped off, landing on the ledge by their stuff. She'd put on her shoes, but what was Riku going to do? Was he going to put on his shirt and shoes while he was on the glider?
Riku blinked at the feeling Light's fingertips caused when they ran over his stomach, the boy briefly getting chills at the touch. He forced them away, knowing that because he was shirtless, she would be able to notice. He turned his head, his expression composed as he looked at Lightning.

Lightning put on her flip-flops before she bent down and picked up Riku's shoes with one hand and his shirt with the other. "How're you going to put these on when you're up there?" she asked, arching a brow in curiosity.
Riku held out a hand. "Shoe," he said, the corner of his lips turning up slightly. One thing at a time, and things would be alright.

"Hm," Light hummed with a smirk, switching so that she only held one shoe in her right hand. She pulled back her arm and easily threw it up at Riku, though she playfully aimed for his head because she knew he'd avoid it.
Riku lifted his hand quickly, catching the shoe before it hit his head thanks to his quick reflexes. He gave Lightning a look before slipping on his shoe with one hand, then holding it out for the other.

Light tossed up the other shoe more nicely, though the faint smirk remained on her face due to the look Riku gave her. She still couldn't believe she was acting so lighthearted when she still was getting over everything that happened in the past few months. It was crazy.
Riku caught the shoe with ease and slipped it onto his other foot, the process only taking a moment. "Shirt?" he called softly, holding his hand out for it. He was dry now, and it was kind of hot, so putting on the shirt would be kind of pointless, but oh well.

Light balled up the shirt so that it wouldn't come right back at her, hoping that it would reach Riku. She grasped it and then threw it up at him only for the wind to catch it and blow it in the opposite direction. Whoops.
Riku's hand fell as he watched the shirt get tossed in the other direction because of the wind. "Nice," he commented lightly, being tauntingly sarcastic with Lightning as he glanced down at her.
  • Author
Light "hmphed", seeing the shirt go over the side of the cliff and down towards the water now that the cliff blocked the wind. "I got it," she said, taking off her flip-flops and tossing them up to Riku before she turned around and ran in the other direction, jumping off the side of the cliff to retrieve the shirt.
Riku reached out his hand and caught both the flip flops with luck, though he had originally reached out to tell Lightning to stop. It was just a shirt. But it was too late, she was already in the air.

Light didn't mind jumping off the cliff, and honestly, she wasn't just doing it for the shirt. It was fun to cliff-dive. She caught the shirt with her hand and then went into the water, closer to the cliff and the stronger waves this time. But she swam to the surface, gasping for a breath once she was up.
Riku steered the glider over the edge of the cliff and down toward the water, seeing Light above the surface. He guided the glider around her in a circle as a he slowed down, whipping it to a stop beside her. The waves were significantly rougher, he noticed.

Light managed to stay on the surface despite the strong and rough waves that wanted to pull her closer to the rocks, Riku's shirt still in her grasp. "Got the shirt," she said with a cheesy smile, lifting it up out of the water to show him that she wasn't lying.
Riku shook his head slightly at Lightning before reaching his hand out to her, his smirk still on his face. "C'mon," he encouraged. He didn't want her getting caught in the waves.

Lightning switched the shirt to her other hand and reached up to grasp Riku's hand, though a wave pushed her away a little and made her miss grasping his hand. She frowned and extended her arm further until she barely had a grasp on his hand.
Riku wrapped his hand tightly around Lightning's, his smirk disappearing as his eyebrows furrowed. He lowered the glider a little more and pulled with his strength to bring Light out of the water.

Light felt Riku pull her out of the waves, and she got on the glider behind him. She actually felt...relieved. For a second there, she had felt the wave start to pull her under.
Riku glanced back at Lightning, letting go of her hand. But then he looked down at the water, lifting the glider so it didn't get hit by the rough waves. "Looks like a storm's coming," he said. The water only got that rough when one did.
