Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light wrapped an arm around Riku's stomach, the other holding onto his soaking wet shirt. "Looks like it," she agreed, looking past her dripping wet bangs to the waves. Good thing they weren't that rough earlier.
Riku nodded slightly, though he didn't verbally respond. The smartest move would be to get out of here, so with Light's arm around him securely, Riku lifted the glider higher into the air and then steered it back toward home, where they could be safe and dry.

Light had to wrap her other arm around Riku after a minute, though she tried not to let the cold shirt touch his stomach too much. She had to acknowledge that she was wetter than the shirt, though, and she was pressed against his back. She hoped he wasn't too uncomfortable because of that.
With a combination of the cooler wind and Lightning's wet form pressed against him, Riku was a bit chilly on the way back home. But they would be home momentarily, and everything would be alright. Their outside fun may have been ruined, but they could spend the rest of the day together inside.

Light leaned her cheek against Riku's shoulder, looking off to the side to see clouds covering where the sunset had been a little while ago. It was sad; she had wanted to see the sunset. But she wasn't too depressed, since she got to hold Riku close now. And if he was cold, his skin didn't show that; he still felt warm compared to her.
Riku looked over his shoulder slightly when he felt Lightning lean against him more, and he smiled despite what was happening around him. He faced forward again so they wouldn't crash. The last thing he wanted was for Light to get hurt.

Light held Riku a little more tightly at the wind, not because she was afraid of falling off, but because she was cold. Did Destiny Islands always have these extremes when it came to nice weather and storms?
"Almost there," Riku said when he felt Light tighten her hold. He loved the fact that she was so close, but she was that way for the wrong reason. He wanted to get her home, the boy seeing his house just up ahead.

"Mm," Light hummed with a faint nod, her cheek still against Riku. That was good, because surely she wasn't the only person who was wet and cold. At least it hadn't started raining yet, or thundering. They'd get in before the worst of the storm came.
Riku flew for a few more seconds before he started to lower the glider, the backyard the closest. He slowly swung the glider around to land properly, the boy hovering just above the ground. "Here," Riku said, glancing over his shoulder at the girl he cared for. She could hop off, and then he would too.

Lightning took her head off Riku's back, her hands also coming back from around Riku's stomach. She jumped down off the glider like she did before, but the moment her bare feet touched the ground, she heard thunder and the rain started pouring down heavily.
Riku glanced up immediately, though he had to blink from the rain pouring down so hard. He grunted, jumping off his glider and summoning it away at the same time. "C'mon," he said, reaching for Lightning's free hand to lead her toward the house.

Light felt Riku grasp her hand, and she didn't argue against going inside the house. They were already wet and cold, but that didn't mean that they wanted to stand out in the rain and make things worse.
Riku headed for the house, walking a little more quickly than normal to get out of the rain. He guided Light to the door and opened it, already knowing it was unlocked. He then stepped inside, hearing a roar of thunder echo throughout the islands as he led Light inside.

Lightning stepped in right after Riku, and she took the liberty of shutting the door. Neither of them would want to go back outside when the weather was like that. She shivered faintly, water dripping down her neck.
Riku heard Jasmine yap from another room, obviously hearing their entrance, but she stopped a second later. He had no doubt that she would show up momentarily, but for now, he turned his attention to Light. He was still holding her hand, but he didn't let go. At the sight of her wet hair and clothes, he smiled weakly. "You're a mess."

"You consider yourself charming, and yet you say stuff like that?" Light teased with a faint smile of her own, not releasing Riku's hand. Earlier he had said how charming he was, but calling a girl a mess wasn't really that sweet.
Riku chuckled a little, but had something to back that up. "The smile helps ease the blunt comment," he replied softly. But with Light, he meant "mess" in a...good way. She was still attractive, even in that state.

"Some people consider bluntness to be rude, you know," Lightning said, though she clearly wasn't one of those people. She was very blunt herself, and she didn't even bother easing the comments with a smile.
Riku shrugged and turned to start walking, though he kept his grip on Light's hand. "Well, then they can't handle me," he said with a small smirk. He was blunt a lot of the time, and sarcastic, though he had his moments where he could be sincere. Those came out more when Light was around, though.

"Hmph," Light hummed with a faint smirk, walking to stay with Riku since he didn't release her hand. Riku was very blunt, and sarcastic, but she knew there was more to him than that. He was a decent guy.
Riku saw Jasmine when he approached the staircase, watching her tail wag in obvious excitement. He wasn't surprised to see her climb the stairs ahead of him, since that was where he was going; he and Light needed to get dry and warm, and comfortable.

Light looked ahead of her and Riku to the dog, seeing Jasmine's warm coat. "It must be nice having that fur coat sometimes," she mused softly, freezing cold from being outside. She couldn't wait to get warm...
Riku glanced behind him briefly as he climbed the stairs. "I'm sure it comes in handy," he added with a small nod, then looking forward again. Jasmine was always warm. He'd noticed that whenever she was insistent on cuddling and wouldn't leave him alone at night.

Light hummed softly in agreement, seeing the dog at the top of the stairs. She and Riku were getting closer to their rooms, and once they were there, they could get warm. But another question just popped into Light's mind. "You lost my flip-flops, didn't you?" She gave them to him before she retrieved his shirt, which she still held.
