Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku stopped walking at that, standing at the top of the stairs. His eyes widened briefly before he brought his free hand to his forehead. "Crap," he said. He lost them when he tried to get her out of the water...

Light tugged her hand out of Riku's stopping in front of him and pushing his shirt into his chest. "So disappointing, Riku," she said with a sigh. "I jumped into the ocean to get your shirt back, and you couldn't hold onto my shoes?" Of course, she was just teasing him, because she could.
Riku rolled his eyes, his hand holding his drenched shirt against his bare chest. "Yeah, yeah," he said. "Just shoes. I'll buy you more." He knew she was teasing, but he was being serious too. He wouldn't really mind.

"Oh, but those shoes were just perfect," Light said dramatically. "There's no way to replace them." She brought her hand back down to her side once Riku had a hold of his shirt, her eyes on his behind her bangs.
Riku shook his head and lowered his shirt from his chest, since it was cold. He started down the hall, his arm briefly brushing Lightning's as he stepped past her. "You can replace things, not people," he pointed out with a small smirk.

"That's pretty cheesy," Light said with a small smile, the girl turning to watch Riku walk away. But, he was right. And she was glad he dropped the shoes to help her out.
Riku stopped in his doorway, turning to look back at Lightning. "Cheesy, but true," he pointed out with the same smirk. He forgot who told him that, but he could have sworn it was Namine at some point. She was pretty wise.

"Alright wise guy," Light said with a faint smirk. She'd let him win this time, mostly because he was right and she just wanted to change out of her wet clothes. She started walking in the opposite direction of Riku, towards her bedroom.
Riku chuckled softly for a few seconds, his eyes going down to the floor before locating Lightning. He watched her walk away before he stepped into his room and shut the door, planning to change into something more comfortable than his wet swimtrunks.

Lightning went into her room and grabbed a pair of black sweatpants and a gray T-shirt before she went into the bathroom and took a nice, hot shower. She finished with the shower and then put on the dry clothes, feeling much more comfortable. But the moment she stepped out of the bathroom and into her bedroom, the power went out and everything was black.
Riku was grateful he was out of the shower when his room turned into total darkness. He looked around, though he spotted Jasmine on his bed. He just had on lounge pants right now, so now he had to grab a shirt in the darkness. Oh well. It wasn't like this didn't happen before.

Light blinked to try and see through the darkness, but she couldn't, and she didn't know this house well enough to get around too well. She sighed and carefully walked to her bed, finding it and then laying down on her back. She could at least relax here for a little while.
Riku grabbed a white t-shirt from his dresser and walked out of his room, unfolding the shirt. Jasmine ran ahead of him, and with his trained eyes, he saw her stop outside Lightning's room. He lifted an eyebrow, but the message was obvious. Light was in there, wasn't she?

Light shut her eyes, since they weren't doing her any good right now anyway. Even her night-vision wouldn't help her see well enough to navigate around the house, so until the power came back on, she'd relax on her bed. Maybe she'd even fall asleep, if her hunger didn't distract her.
Riku walked down the hall, hearing Jasmine whine and paw at Lightning's door. "Shh," he hushed her softly, a dull roar of thunder sounding just afterward. He pulled the shirt over his head and stuck his arms through it, then knocking on the door.
  • Author
"Yeah?" Lightning called, turning her head in the direction of the knock and opening her eyes. She mentally smacked herself, though, because she couldn't see anyway.
Riku took that as a "come on in", and he opened the door. Jasmine raced in as soon as the door swung open enough for her to get through, and Riku stepped in after her. The room briefly lit up due to a spark of lightning, and he spotted his girl on the bed nearby.

Lightning "umfed" when Jasmine ran in, jumped on the bed and then stood on her stomach, the girl having been unprepared. "Jazz," she scolded, glaring faintly to try and see the dog better.
Riku chuckled a little, unable to help himself as he closed the door behind him. "She likes you," he stated with a small smile, starting over towards the bed. It was obvious Jasmine did, though he was afraid it was a bit too much.
  • Author
"I like her too, just not when she's on my stomach," Lightning said, lifting a hand and lightly smacking the dog's rear. Jasmine moved off of her and jumped off the bed, leaving Light alone.
Jasmine ran over to Riku, who lowered his hand to lightly scratch her on the hand before he approached the bed. He sat down on the edge beside Lightning, though Jasmine came and sat on the floor next to him. His small smile faded at another rumble of thunder, though that wasn't necessarily the reason why.

"You can see things pretty clearly, can't you?" Light asked, blinking as she looked up to where she could tell Riku sat down. She could see a small outline, but more than that, she felt the pressure on the bed there.
"A year in Darkness does that to you," Riku said with a weak and brief smile, but he wasn't too bitter about it. The Realm of Darkness had been cruel to him, but it also offered some advantages. Sight being one.
  • Author
Light hummed, nodding faintly as her head remained on the bed. Riku was lucky with that aspect of things; the Darkness granted him an ability that surely came in handy.
"I take it you can't," Riku said, able to see Light's face better than the normal eye. By the way she asked the question, that was what he concluded. And he was probably right; she hadn't encountered Darkness until she got involved with Maleficent.
