Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Able to clearly see Light in the darkness of the room, his eyes followed her as she sat up. Her hand was still on his wrist, so he didn't move it, wanting her touch to stay. Man, if Sora knew my thoughts... He would be the sap.

Light released Riku's wrist and used that hand to ruffle the damp hair on the back of her head, still wet from the shower. That made her feel a little cold, but other than that, she was comfortable.
"...You okay?" Riku asked after a dull rumble of thunder shook the house. He could see Light's expression clearly; she must have forgotten to cover it up, since he could see through the darkness.

Light blinked, having forgotten that Riku could be studying her at that moment. "I'm alright," she said, feeling a sense of deja vu. Back when she was weak and wounded in Riku's presence and he asked that question, that was her response.
Riku tilted his head, lifting an eyebrow. Liar, he thought. He could clearly see that Light was lying to him, having known what look she got on her face and what way she said "I'm alright" when she did so. "What's wrong?" he asked, despite what she just said.

Light smiled humorlessly, shutting her eyes and lowering her head. "It's nothing," she said softly. "Leave it alone for now." It was just her normal worries, with Ven and everything. Riku already knew all about that.
Riku leaned against his hand, at the same time leaning a little closer to Light. He studied her for a second, but then decided that what she said was probably best. "Alright," he said with a small nod, backing up.

Light lifted her head back up and opened her eyes, turning to look over at Riku. She could faintly see him, but she couldn't read his expression well in the darkness. She'd just have to trust that he meant what he said about dropping the subject.
Riku's eyes met Lightning's, and he just gazed at her in the silence; the only sound was the storm outside. He didn't care when it would stop, or if it did, since he was inside, with her. He was perfectly okay with that.

"...You're staring, aren't you?" Light asked, wanting to make sure that she wasn't just seeing or imagining things. She could have sworn Riku's eyes were right on hers, and he was staring at her. But she was staring back, so she clearly wasn't offended.
Riku lifted a hand to scratch his cheek, glancing away. "Yeah," he admitted shyly, then lifting his gaze to his girlfriend again. His girlfriend... He still had to get used to that.

Light smiled faintly, also nodding in the darkness because she knew Riku could see the action. This room sure was dark; not even the lightning outside lit up the room much since the windows were covered. It was almost pitch black in there.
"Clearly you were too," Riku said after a minute, recovering. If Light noticed, that had to mean she was staring at him as well. Of course, he could see it too; he had been looking at her.
  • Author
"So what if I was?" Light challenged, her voice soft in the dark room. True, she had been staring, but she didn't think there was anything awkward about it in this case. After all, she was just trying to see something in this dark room.
"So nothing," Riku said with a small shrug, though he doubted Lightning could see it that well. "Unless, of course, you still miss my face." He smirked slightly, recalling what she said moments before.

"Oh, hush, you," Light said, lifting a hand and lightly whacking Riku's upper arm. He was just being goofy now, pointing out how her actions seemed to prove how badly she wanted to see him. But...she did want to see him. She still felt insecure after everything with Maleficent, and seeing Riku's confidence helped her.
Riku laughed softly, shaking his head at the hit. "Or what? You'll whack me again?" he teased lightly. He could see her clearly, and her expression. It made his smirk stay against his face.

"Or I'll get up, try to walk away, and then trip down the stairs because I can't see anything," Light teased back, making fun of herself for not being able to see well. But she knew Riku wouldn't want her hurting herself for a dumb reason like that.
"I don't think that'll be happening," Riku said, tilting his head slightly in amusement. "...I think you'll trip before you reach the stairs." He hated to admit it, but Light was helpless in the dark. It kind of scared him; what if she got caught in it in the future, and he wasn't around?
  • Author
"Now I feel like proving you wrong," Light said with a faint smirk, pushing herself up off the bed. She'd try to make it to the stairs if Riku didn't try stopping her, or if she tripped before exiting the room.
Riku's hand flew up before he could stop it, the boy grasping Light's wrist. "It'll have to wait," he said, looking up at her from his spot on the bed. She wasn't going anywhere, not when she couldn't see.

Light looked back down at Riku on the bed, arching a brow at how he stopped her. "What other chance is better than right now?" she asked. "It's pitch-black in here." Now that she was a little further away from Riku, she was having trouble seeing him, too, let alone the door.
Call me overprotective, but... "I don't want you hurting yourself," Riku admitted, keeping his grasp on Light. "After all, you are quite the klutz." She hadn't been very aware of her surroundings the morning he cooked her pancakes, having tripped over Jasmine. Tripping down stairs? That was ten times as bad, and dangerous.
  • Author
"What?!" Light blinked at the name. "Am not!" She wasn't a klutz at all; she was very graceful and coordinated most of the time. How did Riku think she was a klutz?
"You tripped over Jazz," Riku pointed out, and he glanced at the floor. "And if you don't watch your step, you'll do it again." Jasmine was only a few feet away from where Light was standing.
