Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"That was only one other time," Light said, using her free hand to wave off the comment. But Jasmine was nearby? She couldn't even see the chocolate-colored dog, the pet blending in with the darkness.
Riku smirked slightly and released Light's wrist. "Alright, if you insist," he said with a small shrug, his hands resting on his legs now as he sat on the bed. If Lightning wanted to prove him wrong, he guessed he couldn't stop her.

"Hm," Light hummed with a smirk. She narrowed her eyes to look around the room, believing she saw the dog close to Riku and to the bed. She took a few side steps and then went forward past the dog, though she wasn't exactly on target for the doorway.
Riku watched Lightning in the darkness, able to clearly see her. He didn't say anything, even when she wasn't exactly going for the door. After all, she needed to prove herself, so he would let her.

Light stopped and glanced back down at the bed, knowing where the door was in relation to that. She turned her direction and went towards the door more, almost right on target because of her excellent memory.
Riku crossed his arms as he witnessed what was going on, noticing Jasmine's head lift from her paws out of the corner of his eye. So, Light was doing well. Maybe she would prove him wrong.

Light stopped two feet in front of the doorway, believing it was only one foot. When she reached out and felt nothing, she assumed that the door was open. But when she stepped forward, she walked into the door. Grunting, she took a step back and brought a hand to her head. Whoops.
Riku stifled a laugh, turning his head away. He wanted to ask if she was alright, but he knew she would sense his amusement, and then probably be mad.

"I heard that," Lightning said, furrowing her eyebrows as she turned around and kept a hand to her head. Riku tried stifling that laugh, but in this quiet room, she could hear everything.
Riku turned his head, no longer having to fight his laughter as he looked at the girl in the room with him. "Sorry," he apologized sheepishly, lifting a hand to the back of his head. His amusement was still present in his tone, regardless.

"Yeah, sure," Light said, rolling her eyes and taking a small step to the door. She lifted a hand and found the handle, still planning on trying to get to the stairs. Running into the door didn't count as tripping, though it did show how terribly she saw in the dark.
"Heh," Riku laughed weakly, his eyes still on Light. She was stubborn, he could see that much; she was still trying to leave the room, after all. The boy pushed himself up from the bed, knowing that he would have to follow to make sure this mission was completed.

Light blinked at the noise of the bed moving, her gaze in that direction when she sensed movement coming towards her. "What're you doing?" she asked, knowing that this was Riku coming towards her and not Jasmine.
"Following, of course," Riku said, starting toward the door and successfully stepping over Jasmine. "I gotta make sure you keep your word." If Light was to prove him wrong and actually make it down the stairs in the dark, he would have to see it for himself.
  • Author
"What, you think I'd lie about making it down the stairs?" Light asked with an arched brow. She wouldn't lie about that; she'd tell Riku if she made it down, and if not, she'd say nothing.
"Does it really matter?" Riku asked, coming to a stop next to Lightning. He just wanted to see this, and in case she ended up falling, he would be there to catch her.

"Sort of," Lightning said with a faint shrug, her hand staying on the handle of the door. Something told her that Riku was coming with for another reason entirely, but she didn't speak that thought aloud.
Riku leaned against the wall next to the door, not responding to that directly. "Go on," he said instead. He would observe from where he was, since the stairs were easily seen from Light's room.
  • Author
"Alright," Light said with a faint nod, leaving the matter alone. She turned the knob on the door and stepped out into the hallway, turning because she knew she had to go a certain direction to get to the top of the stairs.
Riku moved to stand out in the hall, though he did see Jasmine leave the bedroom as well. Now that the door was open, she was free to go, so he didn't think much of it.

Light made it to the top of the stairs, setting a hand on the railing. She didn't consider it cheating to use it, so she was going to. She hesitantly put one foot down, and once she felt like she accurately judged the distance from stair to stair, she took another step, and then a third one.
Riku leaned against the wall, just watching Light. He didn't mind standing by to observe, since she caught him staring already; he didn't think she would mind it this time.

Light stopped walking about halfway down the stairs, hearing something other than rain and thunder. Panting...coming closer to her? She looked over her shoulder and caught the movement, the dog coming at her from behind. Jasmine ran right through her legs down the stairs, though that made Light fall down on her bottom and then fall down the stairs herself.
Riku's eyes widened when he saw what happened, the boy pushing himself away from the wall immediately. He hurried toward the stairs, his eyes on Light. Oh no...

Light landed on her bottom at the end of the stairs, and Jasmine must have realized what happened too. The dog came up to her and licked her face a few times, making the girl groan in disgust. "Ugh. Jasmine..."
