A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light smiled softly, her eyes remaining on Riku's. "It's good," she responded without speaking too loudly. There was no need to, not when it was just the two of them here.

Riku's smile grew ever so slightly as he nodded. "Good," he said. That was very good. If anything, he didn't want to push Lightning away. Not when they were just starting to get close.

Light's soft smile remained, and she felt an impulse rise up in her. She stood on her toes a little and gave Riku a small kiss on the cheek before she returned to her previous position.

Riku blinked slightly at the kiss, though he diverted his gaze. He tried to ignore the skip of his heart, but it didn't work. "...I still have to get used to that," he admitted softly. It would take some time, since he and Light didn't kiss very often.

"...It's a good change, right?" Light asked softly, moving her hand from Riku's chest to his shoulder. She tilted her head slightly to look at his face, hoping for a positive answer.

"Mm," Riku said with a small nod, his eyes finding Light again. "It is." It really was, and even if it was just on the cheek, he liked it. A lot. It made things more real between them.

Light hummed softly and nodded, a smile tugging at her lips. She was glad to hear that, because she was in the same position as Riku was. This relationship was new and strange to both of them, but in a good way.

Riku let his eyes rest on Lightning for the next moment, taking in every detail of her face to commit it to memory. He had a feeling he wouldn't be seeing much of her soon, since Ven was so insistent on them not being around one another. The boy lifted his hand out of Lightning's, instead moving it to tuck some of her pink hair away from her face.

Lightning briefly glanced over to the side of her face when Riku tucked back some of her hair, but then she looked towards his chest. The touch actually made her feel warmer, on the inside. She was in awe of how whatever Riku did could affect her emotions so easily. He now had a lot of power over her.

Riku didn't bother letting his hand fall back down, instead running his fingers through Light's longer strands of hair. It was soft, and even though his was around the same length, he didn't admire it like he did hers. It was a silly thing to focus on, but he did it anyway.

The warm feeling lingered in Light's heart, growing greater when Riku ran his fingers through her hair. It was such a soft, gentle movement, from a guy she believed to be hard and cold at the start. Now she knew how wrong she was, and she was alright with being proven wrong about him.

"What are you thinking about?" Riku asked quietly, letting his fingers trail through the length of Light's hair. His eyes followed the motion, though he had momentarily glanced over to see her staring at his chest.

"A lot," Light responded softly, savoring the feel of Riku's hand going through her hair. She was thinking about him in the past and her current feelings, and how much influence he had in her life now. It was incredible.

"A lot of good things, I hope," Riku said softly, his hand leaving Light's hair to rest against her waist, like the other. His eyes were on her now, even if she wasn't looking back.

Light looked up at Riku, a faint smile on her lips. "A lot of good things," she assured him quietly. "I'm thinking about you." And Riku, he was a very good thing. He was good to her, and good for her. No matter what Ven thought.

Riku's lips turned up in a small crooked smile. "Really?" he asked quietly. "What about me?" What good things was she thinking of? He was quite curious.

"You really want to know, huh?" Light asked, teasing him a little bit while she could. For once, she had information that he wanted; normally it was the other way around. Maybe she could get something out of this, or if Riku was serious, she could tell him right away. Whichever way worked for her.

"Kinda," Riku replied with a small shrug, his smile remaining. He was pretty curious, since Light was such an interesting person. Her thoughts had to be the same. If they were about him, of course he wanted to know.

Light's teasing smile turned softer, her gaze staying on Riku's. "I was thinking about how much I like you," she confessed softly. And she did like him, a lot. Was it this healthy to like him so much so early on in the relationship?

Riku's smile widened at that. "How much you like me..." he repeated softly, glancing away as he kept his hands on her waist. "I wonder how much that is." The way she said it made him think it was quite a bit, and that would be alright with him. He liked her a lot too.

"It's a lot," Light responded softly, though a little shyness came through in her voice as well. She looked to the hand she had on his shoulder, her other hand still down by her side.

"Already?" Riku asked, mocking surprise. But what he said next was true. "I'm flattered." They spent a lot of time together before they actually became a couple, so that probably had something to do with it. On both sides.

Lightning felt herself blush, mistaking Riku's tone for one of insincerity. She took her hand off his shoulder, glancing down and over to the side in embarrassment.

Riku smiled sincerely then, lifting his hand from Light's waist to her cheek. "Hey," he said softly, gently turning her face toward him. "I meant it..." He really was flattered that she liked him so much. He knew he was complicated and made mistakes, but it was nice to know that somebody truly liked him for who he was.

Light's blush slowly faded away, her gaze going from Riku's hand on her cheek to his eyes. She smiled weakly, nodding. But if he meant that he was flattered, then why did he act so...different, when she said she liked him a lot? Did he not return the feelings that strongly?
