A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku's smile dimmed as he gazed into Light's eyes, seeing something in them that threw him off. "What is it?" he asked, keeping his hand on her cheek. Was something wrong?

"You just caught me off guard with your tone, that's all," Light said, faintly shaking her hand without making Riku move his hand. What she said was the truth, even if it didn't go into detail with which part threw her off.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly, the boy not understanding. His tone? When did he say something to throw her off, and how did he say it?

"It's nothing," Lightning insisted upon seeing Riku's expression. She was shockingly overly sensitive sometimes, especially with Riku. She didn't want to lose what they had, and she didn't want him to lose the feelings he had for her. She liked his affection.

Riku kept the same expression. "I don't believe you," he admitted softly, running his thumb over Light's cheek a little. What was wrong? She could be honest...

Light just wanted to savor Riku's touch, but she couldn't ignore this conversation. "It was a misunderstanding on my part," she insisted softly. Really, that was all it was.

"...You sure?" Riku asked, tilting his head a little. If she wasn't, she needed to let him know, or he was going to let the subject drop. It didn't matter either way.

Light noticed the concern in Riku's gaze, also noticing how he kept his hand on her cheek. "Mm," she hummed softly to Riku's question, nodding faintly. She was sure.

Riku nodded a little as well. "Alright," he said softly. If that was the case, he would let it go. He just really wanted to be with Light, whether they talked or not.

Light tilted her head faintly at Riku, this time catching something in her eyes that threw her off. "What're you thinking?" she asked softly, curious. He looked like something was on his mind.

Riku shook his head slightly. "It's nothing," he said softly. He didn't want to ruin their time together by expressing what he was thinking. That was what it was about, really.

Light looked into Riku's eyes, silently examining him to see if he was lying or not. But Riku wasn't the easiest person to read, even when he exposed himself more to her than to everyone else. You sure it's nothing?

Riku let his hand leave Light's cheek when he realized that she was still wondering. "I'm just...worried, is all," he said softly. "About how much I'll see you..." When Ven takes you away from me.

Light frowned, but it wasn't because she was displeased with Riku. She was unhappy with the situation. "It'll be hard," she added softly. Ven was going to tear them apart, or at least try to. Could they survive that stress?

"Mm," Riku hummed softly, lowering his gaze. "I've gotten so used to you being around...it's gonna be different when you go." It would be quiet all the time when he was home, unless his friends were over of course. But still... It would be like it used to be. Lonely.

"...Is it bad to say that I'm more comfortable around you than I am with my brother?" Light asked softly, making a confession at the same time. She really didn't know Ven too well, and these days he was so angry it wasn't pleasant to be around him. She was happier and more comfortable with Riku.

"No," Riku said with a small shake of his head. He lifted his eyes to Light again. "You've just been stuck with me more, through thick and thin." It wasn't her fault. It just kind of...happened.

"Thick and thin?" Light repeated softly. "More like just thick..." When have things ever been easy when they were together? Never, in her eyes. That was sad, but true.

Riku smiled, though a bit bitterly. "I'm hoping to make some memories through thin too," he said softly. It would just depend on how thing with Ven went. Unfortunately.

"If we ever get to thin," Light commented softly, shaking her head a little and looking away. Her hands curled a little by her sides, an act of sadness. It didn't look like things were going to get easier any time soon.

Riku's smile faded at that. Light...didn't think they would make it? That didn't sit well with him, but what could he do to convince her? Anything?

"It's what I'm used to, Riku," Light said, glancing up at Riku before looking away again. "I'm used to not having breaks from conflict to conflict." It was how her life worked.

"That's not the way it's gonna be," Riku said, his one hand squeezing Lightning's waist. She had to be more optimistic. Things weren't always going to be that way...

"I'll believe it when I see it," Lightning said, furrowing her eyebrows slightly as she looked over at the ground. She wouldn't believe it a moment before that, because there was no proof that she could experience long-term happiness.

Riku frowned and took his hand away from Light, upset at the way things were going. Just moments ago they were great, and now...it wasn't the same. "Then look at me," he said softly.
