A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light looked up at Riku, confusion in her expression. "What?" she asked, not understanding where that came from. Was he saying that when she looked at him, she could feel hope that things were going to get better? Was that it?

"Believe it when you see me," Riku said softly, his eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. Everything would be alright, in the end. Even if they hit some rough spots, he would be there...and he hoped she would too. He had faith, but did she?

Light actually found herself smiling, her teeth exposed faintly through it. She lifted her arms and wrapped them around Riku, her hands linking behind his neck after she pulled herself close to him. "You're the best, Riku," she said softly. He had no idea how much it encouraged her to hear that.

Riku's serious expression vanished upon Light's words, expression, and close proximity. His arms wrapped around Light's back, keeping her close. He smiled a bit shyly, looking down at her. He had a feeling she meant that.

Light smiled softly and looked back up at Riku, standing on her toes slightly since her arms were wrapped around him above his shoulders. She could tell he was a little shy, but she wouldn't take back what she said.

Riku lowered his head slightly, letting his forehead rest against Light's while she was so close. "Thanks," he said finally, his voice soft. He liked that she said that; it made him feel that her feelings really were strong. That was comforting to know.

Light hummed softly, a small smile still present on her lips. There was really no need for Riku to thank her, though, because she said it of her own free will. And she'd say it again in a heartbeat.

Riku kept his eyes on Light's for a few more moments, but then closed them as he exhaled. He liked this, them being close. He liked holding her, more than he thought he would at the very start of things. But that was okay. Everything was proving worth it in the end.

Light gazed at Riku for a few moments even after he shut her eyes, but then she closed her own eyes. She and Riku jumped from serious conversation to a more romantic one, but that was alright. She was happy.

Riku tightened his hold around Light at a sudden thought, and it was that she would be leaving soon. She would be moving in with Ven, Terra, and Aqua, just like Ventus wanted. He understood that Lightning wanted to make her brother happy, but what would she be happy with?

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly when Riku tightened his grasp on her, and she opened her eyes. Even up close, she could see his expression wasn't a pleasant one. "What is it?" she asked softly. What was wrong?

Riku released a small sigh, though he didn't open his eyes or shift his position. "I just don't want you to go," he answered honestly. That was the main thing. But the other was that he wanted Light to be happy, like she just talked about.

Light frowned, lowering her gaze. "I don't want to go either," she said softly. But what other choice did she have? Ven wasn't going to allow her to stay here, no matter what.

"Then stay," Riku requested softly, his eyebrows furrowing a little as he kept his forehead against Lightning's. She didn't have to go...

Lightning shook her head slightly, shutting her eyes. "You know why I can't..." she stated softly. It was because she had to preserve what family she had left. She couldn't let anything separate her from Ventus.

Riku pulled his forehead away from Light's, though he pressed the side of his head against hers as he hugged her. "Yeah...I know," he answered quietly. Ven. He doesn't like me, so he's trying to tear me and her apart...

Lightning leaned the side of her head against Riku's, eyes still shut in sadness. "He's dead set on keeping us apart," she stated softly. Ven wasn't going to give up on this unless something changed drastically.

"I know," Riku said, his eyes open now as he stared down at the ground. "But...I don't want it to happen." He really liked her. A lot. Because of that, he didn't want to be away from her. Not permanently.

"Neither do I," Light said quietly. She didn't want Ven to succeed and separate her from Riku, because he was the person she was closest to on the Islands. She did want to get closer to Ven too, but not under these circumstances.

Riku frowned slightly, not at all happy with this situation. Ven only saw the bad things between him and Lightning, not the good. Like now. Ven didn't see this side of him with Lightning, so he didn't know it existed. And he wouldn't, because he would be too preoccupied with keeping her away from Riku.

Light kept her eyes shut, tightening her hold around Riku a little. "Let's just...enjoy the time we have, okay?" she requested softly. They had the night together here thanks to the storm that was still going on outside, so she couldn't move out in this weather. Tonight was most likely the last night she'd get away with staying with Riku.

"However you want," Riku said softly, meaning it. Whatever Light wanted to do, they would. This was probably her last night with him in the house, so he would do whatever she wanted him to. She deserved that from him.

Light hummed softly, a weak smile appearing on her lips. The only problem with that was that she didn't know how to spend the night to maximize the enjoyment they got out of it. At least the power was back on; now they had a few more options. But wouldn't watching TV or a movie be too boring and uneventful to do?

Riku lightly squeezed Lightning at that hum, just holding her while he could. Whatever she wanted to do... He would be up for it, even if it was crazy. That was how much he liked her. After all, she went cliff-diving with him today. It was the least he could do.

"...I have no ideas on what to do," Light confessed with a weak laugh. She and Riku just watched a movie together the other night, and she fell asleep on him. But what else could they do when they were stuck inside?
