Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku felt himself smile, and he started to pull back so he could look at her. "That's alright," he said softly. He would help think of something if he could.

Light pulled away a little when Riku did, her hands resting behind his neck as she looked up at him. She smiled weakly in appreciation, assuming that Riku would help her come up with something to do.
Riku glanced to the side at the silence, trying to think of something they could do. "Um...now that the powers back on, I guess we could watch a movie or something, play a card game, twenty questions, or truth or dare," he said. He was bad at card games, so Light could choose that and get an easy win. But still, it all depended on what she wanted.

Lightning arched a brow, amused by some items in the list. "The latter two could have been done in the dark," she stated. Why did they need lights for twenty questions? Truth or dare, maybe, but still...Light wasn't a necessity for either.
Riku smirked. "You were so set on proving that you could waltz around in the dark I never got to mention them," he said in his defense, lightly poking fun at her. That was how they ended up here in the first place, in front of the stairs after she fell down.

Lightning lowered her arched eyebrow at that. "Only because I was bored," she piped up in return, though that wasn't completely true. It had been like a dare, and she hardly ever turned down a dare.
"So you're bored around me now?" Riku said, lifting an eyebrow and acting like he was hurt. "That's a shame." He was just kidding of course; there really wasn't much to do in the dark.

"It is," Light agreed with a small nod. "So what're you going to do to change that?" How was Riku going to keep her entertained in the future?
Riku shrugged slightly. "Not sure yet, but I'll think of something," he said, confidence in his voice. If he didn't think of something tonight, he was sure he would have plenty of alone time in the future to think of it...since Ven would have Light occupied.

"Alright," Light said, rolling her eyes slightly as her voice expressed doubt. But she was just messing with Riku, like she often did. It was incredible how...at ease she felt around him.
Riku noticed that eye roll, and he tilted his head as he looked at the girl he held. "You clearly don't have faith in me," he said softly. "I guess I'll just end up surprising you." He had a feeling he'd done that already, but there was always room for more.

"I just don't have faith in your creativity, that's all," Light said with a faint smirk. "You don't seem like the type who's able to think of a lot of creative ideas for fun." She had faith in him in many other ways.
Riku smiled weakly, unable to disagree. "I usually leave that up to Sora and Kairi," he said softly. He wasn't creative, he had to admit, but that didn't mean he couldn't come up with something once in a while.

"Mm," Light hummed with a faint nod of understanding. From what she saw of Sora and Kairi, that made sense. And she knew that those two were Riku's closest friends, even if he shared a bond with all the others in his group.
Riku's weak smile remained against his lips, his gaze on the girl before him. He remembered the first time he met her; he hadn't thought of the possibility of him holding her like this at all. But, it was okay. He liked it better this way.

Light kept her eyes on Riku's in the silence, not finding it awkward. She could still hear the rain pouring outside, but the thunder was gone. And that meant that the lightning was too. That actually made her feel a little sad, since she loved watching lightning storms.
Come tomorrow, Riku knew he was going to miss seeing Light all the time. She had been in his house with him for so long, even under bad circumstances. But still, he was going to miss her.

Light deciphered the look in Riku's eyes pretty easily, since he wasn't covering anything up. She pulled herself closer to him in the hug and let her head rest on his shoulder in silence. I know. I'll miss you too.
Riku's weak smile faded away as he wrapped his arms around Light more, his eyes on her. She must have sensed what he was feeling. She was getting good at that, or maybe he was just becoming easier to read as time went on.

Light closed her eyes, feeling warmer with Riku's close presence. He was the only person she really hugged, except for Ven every once in a while. She was going to miss moments like this when Ven kept her away from Riku.
Riku closed his eyes after a moment of silence, lightly squeezing Lightning. He only wished Ven could understand, then they wouldn't have this problem. Riku wasn't sure how he could convince him, if there was a way.

The next day

Lightning stood in her old bedroom, in the middle of packing up her things. She was currently putting some clothes into a backpack, and once this bag was full, she'd take it down to Ven, who was waiting on the porch. Every time she had a full bag, he flew on his glider to his house and then brought back an empty bag so she could keep packing. Today he was finally forcing her to move out of Riku's house.

Riku leaned against the doorframe of Light's room, watching her pack up with soft eyes. Last night had been nice, since they spent it together. But that was the last time that would happen. He didn't want to see Light go, but this was her decision, not his.

Light stuffed one more shirt into the backpack before she zipped it up, the bag full to its capacity. She grabbed onto a strap and hoisted the bag over her shoulder, turning to see Riku still leaning against her door frame. Even if they weren't talking, she knew what he was feeling. He was sad, and so was she.
Riku met Light's gaze but didn't say a word. This whole situation was sad, and he could see that she was upset as he looked at her. "...Is that the last one?" he asked softly, those being the first words he'd spoken since Ven arrived.
