Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Sounds like a plan," Light said with a smile, ready to make herself look like an idiot. They surely weren't going to succeed right away, so it would be fun to make fun of each other as they got the hang of it.
"Right. Let's go," Riku said, motioning toward the ocean with his head. His smirk faded slightly into a smile as he started forward at a jog, knowing that he would need momentum to get over the waves that came in. They were pretty big tonight, so this would definitely be interesting.

Light "hmphed" running in when Riku did. She went off to the side a little to put a few feet between her and Riku, though, since it would be terrible if they crashed into each other.
Riku managed to paddle through the water successfully when it got too deep for him to walk through, but as far as surfing went, he had no idea. "Ready to see an epic wipeout?" he called to Light, turning his head as he paddled to look over at her. There was a wave coming up, and he already knew that he was going to fall.

Light smirked, shifting her gaze from the wave coming in to Riku. "Ready," she said. She'd let Riku have this wave so they didn't run into each other, and she would enjoy seeing him try surfing for the first time. Well, as long as he didn't get hurt, anyway.
Riku chuckled a little and paddled foward, seeing the wave getting bigger. He turned around when he felt it was the right time, and paddled along with the current. But when he tried to stand up and ride the wave, he instantly slipped and fell down, disappearing underneath the water as the wave tumbled over.

Lightning couldn't help but laugh at Riku's tumble, though she tried to cover it up after a moment or two. She was sure he was alright; that wasn't that big of a crash anyway. But still, if he didn't come up soon, she'd start to worry.
Riku resurfaced just after the wave passed, the water smoother now. He shook his soaked head and grabbed onto his board, climbing back onto it to sit on it. He pushed his hair out of his face and looked to Light, seeing her expression. "How was it?" he asked with a smirk. Riku wasn't embarrassed; he had planned on that happening.

Light smirked faintly. "It wasn't that epic," she said. "I was expecting worse." She imagined the surfboard flying up into the air somehow, not Riku just falling down. But she had yet to try, so maybe her idea of an epic wipe out would still come true.
"I'd like to see you try," Riku said with the same expression. "It's not as easy as it looks." He wasn't referring to surfing, but to wiping out. He couldn't really control how he fell.

Light's ears picked up on the sound of a wave coming, and she looked over her shoulder to see she was right. "I'll take that dare," she said, paddling to the side a little as she prepared to ride this wave.
Riku's smirk dimmed a little as he focused on the wave coming up. He watched Lightning, ready for what she was about to show him.

Light paddled so that the board was faced the right way into the wave, and she managed to stand up on the board. She rode the wave for half a second and then her board started weaving underneath her and she fell off under the water, the wave taking her under.
Riku chuckled a little, shaking his head at the sight of Light's face before she went under. She did better than he did, but still... This was humorous.

Lightning surface a few moments later, climbing back onto her board slowly as she looked over at Riku. "How was that," she asked once she had taken in a breath, a weak smirk on her lips.
"You sure showed me," Riku said with a shake of his head. However, his smirk gave him away. That had been pretty amusing, even at night.

Light laughed, faintly shaking her head. "If you were close enough, I'd splash you right now," she stated. That would be his punishment for making fun of her like that.
Riku laughed. "I'm wet enough. I don't think that would be so bad," he said with a small smile. He was soaked, and so was Light. But their surfing was far from over.

"Yeah, yeah," Light said, waving it off with a hand. She glanced over to the side, seeing that another wave was coming. Riku could take this one if he wanted to.
Riku followed Light's gaze, and seeing the wave, he took it for his turn. He paddled in the direction the wave was coming, waiting until he was picked up by it to hop onto his board. He bent his knees and rode the wave for a few seconds, but the roughness of the wave made his board swerve. Riku cried out, falling into the wave and wiping out, just like before.

Lightning laughed at Riku's wipe out, the girl shaking her head a little bit in amusement. That crash was much more epic than the first, if she did say so herself. But now she had another problem. She saw another wave coming in quick, and she paddled out to meet it.
Riku surfaced, feeling the tug at his ankle because of his board a few feet away. He saw another wave come in, and had just enough time to look at Light before he was caught in the wave, rising at its height before he sank with the water, the wave passing by him.

Light managed to stand up on the board and ride the wave, this time not falling over right away. She balanced, looking over at Riku as a smile appeared on her lips. "Riku, I'm doing i--ah!" She got cut off mid-sentence, falling off her board when the wave toppled her.
Riku squeezed his eyes shut as he laughed, floating in the water just a few feet away from his board. Light's expression had been priceless, and so had her fall. He shook his head once his laughter died down, the boy grabbing his board and swinging himself onto it.

Light resurfaced a few moments later, floating in the water by her board as she sat her arms on it. She sighed in displeasure, shaking her wet head a little. She had been doing so good, too.
