Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku lay on his stomach, moving his arms as he paddled over to where Light was. "That was the best wipeout I've seen of you yet," he commented with a small smile. "Very nice."

"Gee, thanks," Light said with a faint smirk, climbing back onto her board and facing Riku. But it was only the second wipeout; surely there would be more as the night continued.
Riku chuckled at Light, but that wasn't the last time he laughed. They tried their hand at surfing for another hour, and Riku was on his last try, the boy having enough of being tumbled on by waves. He rode his board for a few seconds before he fell off to the side, feeling water surround him momentarily before he resurfaced.

Lightning stayed floating where she was, laying down on her board as she looked at Riku resurface. "Have enough?" she called from her spot, a small smile on her lips. Riku had done pretty well with that last one, but Light did better in general because she had more balance and grace than Riku did.
Riku climbed back onto his board, feeling water drip down the side of his face. "Yeah," he said with a small smile. That was enough for tonight. He was pretty tired from falling and getting back up so much.

Light smiled softly, gaze staying on Riku. "Let's go in then," she suggested, motioning towards land with her head before she started paddling. She already told Riku that she was done; she had successfully ridden a wave before he did his last one. She was content.
Riku lowered himself on his board and paddled in after Lightning, hearing the dull roar of the waves behind him. As they got closer to shore, they were smaller, and lightly pushed them along. That helped with reaching land sooner.

Light walked on land once she could, board under her arm as she got out of the ocean. She walked a few steps on dry land and then exhaled a soft breath as a sigh, the air feeling cold to her now that she had gotten used to the ocean.
Riku waded through the shallow water, his board tucked under his arm as he followed Light's lead. He was soaking wet and somewhat tired after that exercise. It had been fun.

Lightning stopped walking and stabbed her board into the ground, bending down and undoing the strap on her ankle. But she didn't stand back up once she was done, sitting down and turning to face the ocean. "That was tiring," she confessed, her voice showing tiredness.
"But entertaining all the same, right?" Riku added, stabbing the edge of his board into the sand beside Light's. He sat down next to her after undoing the strap attached to the board, his eyes on her still.

Light looked over at Riku beside her, a soft smile appearing on her lips. "Definitely," she said with a faint nod, meaning it. She laughed and smiled so much more than she normally would have, and that was something she enjoyed very much.
Riku smiled a little, nodding. "Glad you had fun," he said softly, propping one arm up on his knee. That was the goal he had in mind for tonight, other than to spend time with her of course.
  • Author
"How about you?" Light asked, nodding faintly to Riku. "Did you have fun?" She certainly hoped so, because tonight had been great in her opinion. If he didn't feel the same, she wouldn't know how to react.
"Of course," Riku said with a small smile, his eyes resting on Light's so she could tell that he was being truthful. He made a fool of himself a lot over the last hour or so, but it had been worth it. He had fun.

Light hummed softly, a small smile appearing on her lips at the response. "Good." Maybe in the future, she and Riku could do this again. Maybe even during the daytime, if Ven ever let them get together.
Riku let his eyes linger on Lightning for another moment before he turned his head to look forward, his small smile still in tact. He wasn't sure what they would do now, but he didn't want to take Light back home. It would be the right thing to do though, if she was tired.

Lightning scooted closer to Riku, lightly leaning her head on his shoulder as she looked out to the ocean. She wasn't going to be shy about physical contact, because it was impossible to know when they'd see each other again.
Riku let his eyes fall on Light at the contact, and he lowered his head to hers. Her hair was wet against his lower cheek and jaw, but that was alright; he didn't mind at all.

Light exhaled a soft breath, shutting her eyes at Riku's closeness. She really missed this, more than she had previously thought. This only motivated her more to try and get Ven to give her and Riku freedom to see each other.
Riku's gaze shifted to the ocean after a minute, though he kept his position with Lightning. He never thought himself to be romantic or soft with someone, but Lightning was making him surprise even himself. With her, everything was different...and he liked it that way.

Lightning opened her eyes after a minute, not turning her head so she didn't disrupt Riku. She would be alright with falling asleep here, except for how cold it was starting to get to her. Riku's warmth helped, but she was still cold and soaking wet.
Riku looked at the water in silence, not knowing what to say, or if he should disrupt this peace at all. The last few days, he'd been wanting to talk to Lightning so much, and now that he was with her, he didn't feel like he had to say anything at all. It was just how comfortable he was with her, and he believed that just being with her was enough.
  • Author
"...How have you been?" Light asked softly, hoping that talking would distract her from how cold and wet she was. And plus, she was genuinely wondering how Riku was. It had been a few days since they really spoke.
"Alright, I guess," Riku replied softly. "Sora and Kairi have been keeping me busy." But it didn't do well to distract him, which he knew was their goal. He still thought about Lightning. A lot.
