A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Mm," Light hummed, gazing at the ocean. She thought that was the case, since she saw Riku with those two a lot whenever she saw him in passing.

"What about you?" Riku asked softly, glancing at Light out of the corner of his eye, still close to her. He wondered if she was doing alright as well, since he'd barely spoken with her in the last few days.

"I'm alright," Light responded softly, though she wasn't sure if that was the truth or not. "Ven's keeping me occupied." He almost never left her alone. It was actually pretty hard for Lightning, since she was such a loner.

Riku hummed softly, though he thought something else. I've noticed. Every time he saw her, she was with Ven, and Ven always gave him small glares or the cold shoulder. Riku didn't understand why he was acting the way he was; Light was safe, and alive. There was no reason to hold a grudge.

Light stayed silent, not knowing how to respond. Ven was getting on her nerves, sadly. She understood he was her little brother, and he felt like he was doing what was best for Lightning, but he was wrong. He was actually hurting her.

"Have you...been having fun? With Ven?" Riku asked after a moment of silence. He was curious, but he thought he already knew the answer: no. Light seemed...sad.

"A little, but...most of the time, no," Light replied softly. Ven was suffocating her, and even if she did want to spend time with him, she didn't want to do it under these circumstances. Ven was forcing himself upon her, and it wasn't good for either of them.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his gaze still on the water. "Sorry to hear that," he said quietly. He didn't want to hear that she was having a bad time; it made him feel more upset at the situation. True, he wasn't having the best time, but Light was more important to him.

Light hummed quietly, nodding faintly at Riku's comment. She was sorry too; this situation wasn't good, and things seemed to be getting worse. Well, except for right now, when she actually got to spend time with Riku. This was nice.

Riku moved his arm that wasn't propped up, the one closest to Light, around her small frame, his hand resting on her side opposite him. He just wanted to hold her close and have her be...happier. Clearly, that wasn't the case with Ven.

Lightning moved a little closer to Riku when he wrapped his arm around her, her head remaining on his shoulder. She really didn't have anything else to say, but if Riku did, she'd listen. She liked hearing his voice.

"I wish..." Riku started softly, though he trailed off. He had to figure out to word this better, and once he did, he spoke again. "I wish things weren't this way." He wanted them to be better; he didn't want to have to sneak around to see Lightning.

"Me too," Light agreed softly. She didn't like tip-toeing around Ven, and she didn't like his unforgiving spirit right now. He wasn't the person she remembered him to be.

Riku lifted his head off Light's, instead looking down at her. "Maybe I should talk to him," he said softly. He had a feeling Ven wouldn't listen to him, but he had to put forth the effort.

Light shook her head softly at the suggestion, pulling her head away a little as she gazed up at Riku. "That's not a good idea," she said softly. Ven didn't like Riku much; he only respected him because he was a Keyblade Master.

Riku frowned a little, sighing as he looked down at the ground. "You're probably right," he said softly. Ven was still furious at him, for what he let happen to Light in the past. There was definitely a grudge, and that wall would keep Ven from listening.

Light leaned her head on Riku's shoulder again, her gaze on the ocean. "I'll keep trying to get through to him," she said softly. She wasn't about to give up, because if she did, then things would end for her and Riku. And she didn't want that.

"You think it'll work?" Riku asked, looking down at Light. It had to... Or at least, that was what he kept telling himself. He really liked this girl; he didn't want to lose her.

"I don't know," Light responded softly. "Ven's not himself these days." He was so...bitter. Angry. But on the outside, he was acting lighthearted as always, as long as Riku wasn't involved.

"Mm." Riku lowered his sight to his lap again, keeping his arm around Lightning. That's because of me, isn't it? He was the reason Ven wasn't himself, because he was angry at Riku. That was what he believed, even though he didn't want to.

I'm going to try and change it, Lightning thought. Somehow, she would set things right. If it wasn't for her, Ven and Riku wouldn't have been fighting in the first place. She wished Ven would stop blaming Riku for what he couldn't control

Riku didn't say anything, not knowing what to say. He couldn't voice his thoughts, because Light would shut them down, or he would upset her. Either one was what he didn't want. So instead, he looked at the water again, seeing the moonlight reflect on its surface.

Light shut her eyes after a few moments, a soft breath leaving her. She wondered what time it was. It felt like she and Riku were out for a while, and it was nighttime, so she felt like she had a right to be tired. And the exhaustion caused by surfing didn't help anything.

That was just it. The moon... It was the middle of the night, and soon, it would be morning. Riku had to take Light home...sometime. "...Should I take you back?" he asked after a few minutes, his voice soft as he sat on the beach with her.

"I'd rather stay with you, but..." Light kept her eyes shut, trailing off. But she was cold and tired and it would be morning in a few hours. Falling asleep here would be unwise.
