Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light swung at Ven with a battle cry, hitting his Keyblade and knocking him back. He landed smoothly on his feet and came back at her though, not that she had any trouble deflecting his attacks. She still used her weaker hand to battle him, and yet she could focus on other things while fighting him. She and Ven were more at peace after she hadn't seen Riku for a while, and even if it made Light sad not to see him, she did like the peace with Ven. She'd enjoy that aspect of things while she could, the girl not knowing when Riku was ungrounded.

Riku's feet met the sand of the beach, and he continued to walk in silence, hearing some noise a little bit a way. Glancing up, he noticed it was Light and Ven, and he knew he would have to pass them by to get to his friends.

Kairi turned around when she heard a sharp clang from Light and Ven's match, but then her eyes fell on her friend that just arrived on the beach. "Riku!" she called, waving her arm as she stood next to Sora.

Riku's sight left Lightning when he heard his name, and upon seeing Kairi, he lifted his hand that wasn't in his pocket in a weak wave. He could tell Kairi was happy to see him, since he'd been grounded for a while.

Lightning blinked at the call that wasn't directed to her, the girl turning her gaze to see her boyfriend on the beach. But Ven took that as an advantage in the fight. He swung at her and barely missed her, the girl doing a flip to the side to avoid the Keyblade. She finally switched her sword to her good hand, holding it up by the side of her head with both hands as she stared at Ven in his battle stance.
Riku continued walking, lowering his hand when Kairi turned her attention to someone else. Meanwhile, he started to pass Light's battle with Ventus, though he made sure to steer clear and give them some space.

"Ven?" Light asked softly, a little breathless from the fight. Her tone got across the question just fine: Can I see Riku? But Ven's expression answered her question immediately. No. He ran forward and swung at her again, re-initiating the battle with more harshness behind his actions.
Riku's eyes left Lightning, and he glanced at Ven, seeing his expression. He looked...angry. Probably because I'm around, Riku thought, his gaze then falling to the ground. Well, he knew the drill; no talking to Light.

Light didn't get the opportunity to look over at Riku, Ven testing her. He was acting too aggressive for a friendly fight. She grunted and did a flip over him to avoid his Keyblade, at the same time grabbing him from behind and shoving him face-down on the sand. She knelt down beside him, knee on his back. "Enough," she said lowly, breathless. Ven was going to hurt her or make her wound him if he kept this up.
Riku glanced over at Light as he passed by, closer to his friends now. He saw her position, concluding once again that she was strong...and independent. He hadn't been around to fulfill his promise from the week before; he'd gotten caught in the act of trying to. Riku's eyes fell on Sora and Kairi not too far off, continuing on his way.

Ven grunted, lifting a hand to grab Lightning's arm. He pulled and got her off of him, his big sister rolling into the sand next to him. "It's not enough," he said quietly, breathless. "Not yet." He picked himself up and got back into his stance, though he was frustrated when he saw Light just sit herself up and hold her sword in her lap. What, she wasn't fighting back?
Riku saw Kairi wave him over, but he only continued at his usual calm pace. Thoughts were racing through his mind, however, about Light. He missed her a lot over the past week or so, though he knew it was his fault that he didn't get to see her. He wouldn't be surprised if she was mad at him, the boy not knowing that she was aware of the situation.

Lightning rose to her feet at Ven's aggravated look, and she was prepared to throw her sword into the sand to end this fight, but he came at her before she could. She was forced to hold onto her weapon and defend herself, the fight continuing.

Sora smiled when his friend made it over to them, the brunet choosing to ignore the fight between Lightning and Ven. "Hey Riku," he greeted. "How have you been?" He didn't know much about what was going on with his friend lately, the grounding pretty severe.

Riku stopped next to Sora, shrugging a little. "Alright, I guess. The best I can be when grounded for a week," he replied with a weak smirk. His dad had been rough on him, but that wasn't the first time he'd been caught sneaking out. That was probably why.

"Yeah, that must have been fun," Sora said sarcastically, a faint smirk on his lips as well. Of course being grounded wasn't fun, and Sora knew why he had done it. He tried seeing Lightning, but he was caught. But now he wondered if it was better for Riku to get caught by his dad or by Ven; the latter would have been pretty rough on him.
Riku rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "You have no idea, man," he replied, going along with the sarcasm. That was anything but fun. If anything, it was torture. He hated being cooped up inside, away from his friends and the outdoors...and her.
  • Author
"Well, at least you're free now," Sora said, his smile turning more genuine. A week-long grounding was pretty rough, especially when the weather outside was so nice. But if he wasn't mistaken, Riku was upset for other reasons.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, his smirk weakening a little. Yeah, he was free. But to do what? He still felt like a prisoner, for one obvious reason.

Sora glanced over at Kairi, not sure what else to say. Riku looked bummed out, and it was probably because Lightning was in the same area but he couldn't talk to her. It was a shame, too, because Sora never actually saw those two together after they became a couple.

Kairi felt Sora's gaze on her, and she turned her head to look at him. She saw his expression and smiled weakly, touching his arm briefly before she spoke to her best friend. "Riku, is there anything you wanna do today?" she asked with a small smile. "We're up for ideas."

Riku shrugged, his hands still in his pockets. "Nothing in mind," he said softly. "Sorry." He had other things going on inside his head; he didn't exactly feel up to thinking about ideas. He wasn't too creative anyway.

Kairi's eyes left Riku when he looked away, her gaze falling on Sora. Riku really was upset, wasn't he? He was so unlike himself.

Sora glanced over at Kairi before he looked at the fight occurring on the beach. But then he looked at his best friend. "You have any ideas in mind for how you want me to distract Ven?" he asked, keeping his voice low enough so Ven wouldn't overhear. He'd try and get Riku a few minutes with Lightning, if he wanted.
Riku blinked, his eyes darting to Sora. "What?" he asked softly in surprise. Did Sora really just say that? He hadn't expected to hear such a thing, but...was he that obvious?

Sora smiled, shrugging. "Riku, I'm not that clueless anymore, remember?" he asked. A while ago, Riku pointed out how he wasn't that easy to fool anymore, and he wasn't. He could clearly see Riku's feelings for Lightning. All of them could.
Riku smirked a little, the gesture weak in comparison to what it could have been. "Yeah...guess I forgot," he said. He was that obvious, or Sora was right. Or maybe it was both. Either way, he wasn't sure how to answer Sora's first question.
  • Author
"So, any ideas?" Sora asked, becoming a little more serious as he got back on topic. He really didn't know how to separate Ven and Lightning unless he physically intervened in their fight, but he could do that if he had to.
"Uh..." Riku lifted his hand from his pocket to scratch his cheek, at the same time glancing over his shoulder at Lightning and Ven. "...No," he finished, turning his attention back to Sora. He had no ideas.
  • Author
"Hm," Sora hummed, glancing over at Kairi. He was blank too, so he hoped that maybe his girlfriend could come up with something. He knew she wanted to help Riku out too, and get to see him be romantic with somebody.
