Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Kairi felt both boys' gazes on her, and she bit her lip as she tried to think of something. A spar with Sora was out of the question, given he was already doing that with Lightning. And a race wouldn't work; that would be too suspicious.

"...Could we try just asking Ven to back off?" Sora asked after a few moments, looking from Kairi to Riku. He knew that Riku and Ven weren't really friends these days, but still, couldn't they at least be a little civil?
"He'll know you're doing it for me," Riku said then, his eyes falling on Sora. "That'll make him angry with you too, and he will probably hate me even more because of it. Let's not take it farther than it already is." It was bad enough. If things got worse, he wasn't sure how he'd handle it.

Sora arched a brow, shaking his head faintly. "You'd rather leave things the way they are than try to fix them?" he asked. He understood not wanting to make things worse, but things were already terrible. They couldn't get too much worse than they already were.
"I've thought of talking to him already, Sora," Riku said with a small frown. "It won't work. Light even said it wouldn't." Whether that was him talking to him, or anybody else, he wasn't sure. But he wasn't so sure talking would make things better.

"But you haven't tried it yet," Sora said with a faint shrug. "And it seems like the only thing that could make things better." Unless there was another option he was missing. Riku had already tried sneaking around to see Lightning, but that hadn't worked out too well. What else could make things better?
Riku glanced behind him again, seeing the heated battle taking place between Lightning and her brother. "If you want to try breaking that up, be my guest," he said, motioning in that direction. He highly doubted talking would work. Ven was incredibly stubborn over Riku seeing his sister.

"I didn't say I would do it," Sora said, shaking his head at Riku and giving him a look. This was his battle; he was the one who had to try and set things right. Sora would help, but he wouldn't do all the work for him.
Riku crossed his arms, his eyes leaving Sora and going back to Ven. He didn't really know about this. It could end up...better, or it could end terribly. Riku thought it would be the latter.

"...At least consider it, until you have a better idea," Sora said, not looking over at Ven and Lightning so he didn't get the former's attention. He didn't want Ven knowing that they were talking about him like this.
"It's been considered," Riku said, looking back to Sora and Kairi. The latter looked sad, and he felt the same way, but he was just letting it feed his frustration. "Let's just...leave it alone." He uncrossed his arms and started walking away, not wanting to talk so much right now.

Lightning glanced away from her battle when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye, and she was surprised to see that Riku was leaving the area. But she was more surprised when she felt a Keyblade impact the side of her head and knock her down, making her grunt roughly. She set her hands in the sand and looked up at Ven with a pained expression, her brother seeming to realize he made a mistake.
Kairi stepped after Riku, reaching a hand out to him slightly before she instead brought it to her lips in worry. Poor Riku, she thought sadly. He was really upset about this whole situation. She'd never seen him so sad.

Lightning stayed down, glaring at the ground as a sword was still in one hand. She shifted Paradigms and cast Cure, her fatigue and aches going away with the spell. But the emotional pain didn't.

Ven knelt down in front of his big sister, his Keyblade gone now. "You okay?" he asked softly. "Sorry." He hadn't believed he could actually land a blow like that; she always blocked it before. Good thing Riku didn't see that; he probably would have been ticked.

Riku continued walking away from his friends, though he went in the opposite direction than Ven and Lightning were in. Because of that, he didn't witness what happened to the girl he held such strong feelings for; if he had, he would have rushed over there in a second. Because he didn't, however, he kept walking along the shoreline, the water lapping at his shoes.

"Ven, I'm done," Lightning finally said, rising to her feet. She put her sword in its case and saw Ven rise as well, and judging by his facial expression, he knew she wasn't talking about the fight. She stepped past him and started at a light jog after Riku, Ven not stopping her. He had no right to after that merciless fight.
Riku kept walking, unaware of what was going on behind him. Sora just didn't understand. Talking wouldn't work; Ven was too stubborn for that. Lightning knew that, which was why she told him it wouldn't be a good idea to talk to Ven in the first place.

Lightning came behind Riku, and she didn't know what to say. Instead of speaking, she reached out and grasped his hand lightly, hoping to stop him. She didn't want him to go.
Riku stopped walking instantly at the grasp, turning around to see who stopped him. But he hadn't expected her. "...Light?" he said in surprise. What was she doing?

Light kept a hold of Riku's hand, looking up at the eyes that she missed for the past week and a half. "...Hi," she said softly, unaware that other people were watching their interaction right now. She didn't care.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but he didn't say hi back. "What're you doing?" he asked, turning around to face her. He felt her gentle touch, and he lightly curled his fingers around hers. What about Ven? He was right down the beach, and glancing in that direction, he saw the boy looking over at them.
  • Author
"Not letting him keep me away any longer," Light responded softly, squeezing Riku's hand. She didn't know what the consequences of that would be, though. She was already frustrated with Ven, though, and she ran to Riku on impulse. She hoped she made the right move.
Riku felt himself smile a little at that. Was she serious? Light was really standing up for herself about this? "Won't he be mad?" he asked in surprise, his eyes stuck on Lightning now. He would bet Ven would be furious.
  • Author
"He'll be furious," Light said without flinching, though she was saddened by that truth. But she couldn't do this anymore. Ven was controlling her and making decisions for her. That wasn't right, and she hated not being able to do what she wanted. That was changing, right now.
"But..." Riku said softly, glancing back at Ven as his smile vanished. As much as Riku wanted this, he didn't want Lightning getting in trouble with family. True, he'd done that already, but...that was different.
