Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"But there's no turning back," Light said with a faint shrug. She really didn't know if she made the right choice or not, but this was what she chose. She couldn't take it back now.
Riku gazed at Light in silence, sensing the seriousness in her tone and spotting it in her eyes. "Right," he said softly, tilting his head. He smiled a little. She meant it, he could tell she did. And for him, that was a good thing. Did this mean he would be able to see her?

"I had some time to think, when you were grounded," Light said with a weak smile, revealing she knew why Riku ditched her a while ago. He was supposed to sneak to her room so they could go surfing again, but he was caught and grounded. She heard that part from Sora, thank goodness. Otherwise, she would have been hurt by him not coming.
Riku blinked at that, and his smile turned sheepish as he looked away. His grasp automatically tightened on her hand. "You heard about that, huh?" he said softly, glancing back up at her.

"I did," Light confessed with a weak smile, though it quickly faded away. "I thought...about asking you if we could take a break." She thought that it would be best for both of them, so Riku didn't get in trouble with his parents again and she didn't get in trouble with Ven.
Riku's eyes widened as he blinked, his smile vanishing. "You don't...still think that, do you?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowing at the mention. Lightning...really thought about that?

"I...don't know," Light responded, faintly shaking her head. "I feel bad you got in trouble with your parents because of me. I know how important family bonds are." She didn't want to get between Riku and his parents, even if she just defied her own family to be with him.
Riku's grasp loosened at the words, and his expression became more serious. "My dad's caught me before," he said softly. "It's no big deal." Or...maybe it was, and he just didn't want to see it that way.

Light tilted her head faintly, trying to read Riku's expression to see if he was being truthful or not. This was something she'd have to take his word on, but if she heard about him having trouble with his parents again because of her, they'd have problems.
"...Is this because of that, or because of Ven?" Riku boldly asked, glancing at the teen not too far off before looking back at his sister. He didn't understand. Was she giving up? Was Lightning taking the easy way out?

Light blinked at the suggestion. "I've enjoyed being more at peace with him lately," she confessed softly. "But I'm sure that's over now that I'm speaking to you again." She just ruined what she had with Ven, didn't she?
Riku lowered his gaze, knowing that this was wrong. Everything about it was wrong. Light was ruining her bond with her family because of him, and he could possibly be doing the same. But...he really liked her. Was that wrong too?

"...Can you promise me that our relationship won't cause any more trouble with your family?" Light asked softly. If he couldn't make that promise, then she didn't know what she would do. She knew family was more important than relationships.
Riku nodded slightly, then lifting his gaze to Lightning. But then he looked behind her, to Ven. "What about yours?" he asked then, eyebrows still furrowed as he looked at Lightning. Ven didn't exactly seem like he was happy about this.

Lightning glanced over her shoulder briefly, and when she faced forward, she looked down towards Riku's chest. "I can't make any promises," she said softly in reference to Ven. His expression was unreadable from here, and she didn't know how he was taking this whole thing.
Riku looked toward the water at his side, not knowing what to say. Then what was Light doing here? She just said she knew how important family bonds were, and yet she was ignoring her own. It didn't make sense.

Light kept her gaze down, able to tell what Riku's thoughts were because of the silence. "I'm not giving up on my family," she said softly. "I just know things can't continue like this. It's hurting me and Ven, and you." This wasn't good for any of them.
Riku's hold on Light's hand loosened a little more at that. "...What do you suggest?" he asked softly, referring to how to solve their problem. If they were all being hurt by this, something had to be done to mend it.

Light shook her head faintly, looking down at the ground. "I have no idea," she said softly. She had no idea how to set things right. This moment right here was just an impulse, not planned at all.
Riku closed his eyes, knowing the truth. And that was that Lightning had to be with Ventus. Like she said, family was important. And he had to sneak around to be with her, and the second time he tried, he was caught. What did that say about them?

Light kept her gaze down on the ground, her hand also still holding Riku's. This time, she was able to interpret his thoughts in the silence. She didn't know whether that was good or not, but she was saddened by her own thoughts. How could she set things right?
Riku finally let his eyes find Lightning again, and he squeezed her hand weakly. "I really like you, Light," he said softly. "But..." But I don't know what to do. He'd never been in this position before.

Light blinked, lifting her gaze to Riku. But? she silently wondered. But you're not worth the trouble? But I can't stand your little brother? There were so many ways this conversation could go, and she couldn't predict which way the change would go.
Riku looked away when Light met his gaze, seeing the fear in her eyes. But, he had to tell the truth. "But...all of this trouble," he continued softly, shaking his head a little. "I'm not worth it." He hated saying that, because Lightning was worth the trouble; that was how much he cared about her and wanted her to be his. But...he wasn't worth the heartache.

Lightning shook her head softly, looking down to the hand that she held. "I don't believe that's true," she said softly. She did believe that he was worth the trouble, or else she wouldn't have been standing there with him right now.
