Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku blinked, but he immediately broke into a run. "Hey, get back here!" he cried to his best friend. Sora would run away. He should have expected that.

Kairi was through with her tickling fit, but she still giggled when she heard Riku's holler and saw why he said anything at all. She shook her head at Sora, but she still adored his nature. He was a goofball.

Sora glanced over his shoulder at Riku, but when he looked back forward, Ven was standing there. Ready to intercept him. "What, Ven?!" he cried. He was supposed to be on his side!

"Sorry Sora," Ven said with a sheepish smirk. He saw Sora run to avoid him, but Ven ran after him and tackled him into the sand, knowing this was the least he could do for Riku after treating him so badly lately.

Riku ran a few feet forward before he stopped by Ven and Sora. He looked to the former with a grateful smirk and nodded to him, but then he focused on Sora. He reached down and grabbed a part of Sora's shirt and one of his arms. "You're mine to deal with now," he said, voice full of mock-threat.

Sora felt Ven get off of him, but his main focus was on his older best friend. He looked up at him and chuckled in nervousness, a sheepish expression on his face. What was Riku going to do?
Riku bent down a little more and moved Sora, throwing him over his shoulder. "C'mon, Sora," he said. "Let's go for a small swim." He nodded to Ven before he started walking casually toward the ocean.

Sora blinked at the words, his back to the ocean. "Aw, c'mon Riku, I don't deserve this!" he said, trying to get out of Riku's grasp. Eavesdropping wasn't that big of a deal, even if Sora did tease Riku for it a lot.

"You throw a coconut at my head, and I can't even get you wet?" Riku asked, peering at his friend over his shoulder as he kept walking. "Yeah, that seems fair." He would do what he wanted, since this was time for payback.

Kairi heard what Riku said, even from where she was, and she only giggled again. So Riku hadn't forgotten about that?

"It's not like I actually did anything to you!" Sora exclaimed. He threw the coconut, more than once, but he never actually hit Riku. He only startled him. And Riku always got back to him for it right away, too, so this payback was over the top.
Riku looked forward and adjusted his grip on Sora. "Oh well," he said with a small shrug. "You'll dry off." The water was just up ahead, the waves rolling in toward the shore.

"Riku!" Sora groaned, shaking his head. "I think I liked you better when you were depressed," he joked, though the joke was obvious. Of course he wasn't happy when his friend was upset; he was just happy that during that time, Riku didn't tease him or toss him into the ocean like he was about to do.
Riku only laughed, though he tightened his hold around Sora's legs as he came closer to the water. It was then that he started running, picking up his pace as he splashed through the shallow water. And just as a wave came in, he threw himself forward, making it so he and Sora both got drenched.

Lightning picked up on Ven's laughter from where he stood, and she laughed softly herself. That was a sight to behold, seeing Riku and Sora get hit by that wave. She was amused.
Kairi ran a few steps forward, getting closer to the scene where her boyfriend and best friend disappeared under the water. Just a few seconds later, though, she saw Riku come up, shaking his head to get rid of any excess water in his hair. She only smiled, glad to see him happy again.

Sora came up a moment after Riku, out of his friend's grasp. He gasped for a breath and shook his head, running a hand through his spikes to get out some water droplets before he playfully glared at Riku.
Riku stood up in the waist-deep water, catching Sora's look. "What?" he laughed softly. "You deserved it!" It was just water, anyway.

Sora just smirked, taking it in stride like he normally did. "Glad to have you back, Riku," he said. But I'm not so glad to still be wearing shoes in the ocean. Oh well; it was worth it to see his friend happy again.
Riku only smiled, his eyes lingering on his best friend before he looked to the ones who caused this happiness the most. Lightning and Ven. He was grateful to the latter, but he was relieved to have the former with him still. Maybe things would get better from here.

Light's laughter faded away, but her small smile remained on her face. She noticed Riku looking over at her, and she met his gaze as she folded her arms over her chest casually. It was good to see him happy.
Kairi only watched her two best friends in silence, linking her hands behind her back. Things were going to be alright. It was just this feeling she had inside.

Sora waded out of the water after a few moments, his shoes and clothes soaked. "Kai," he called, starting towards her. "Time for a hug!" Now that he was soaking wet, it was something he had to do.
"Huh?" Kairi said in surprise, her eyes widening. Her hands came back to her sides and she stepped away. "Sora, no!" she whined. She didn't want to get wet!

Sora grinned, continuing to walk over to Kairi. "C'mon Kairi, you love my hugs," he said, keeping his eyes on her. That was the truth, but he knew it would be different when he was soaking wet.

"I can make an exception," Kairi squeaked, backing up a few more steps. She heard Riku laugh not too far off, and she sent him a glare before her eyes found Sora again.

Riku rolled his eyes at Kairi's glare, though he let his gaze fall on Lightning. He started toward her, wading through the water. He would follow Sora's lead, but in a different way.

Lightning watched Sora pick up his pace a little to get to Kairi, and she was focused on that while Riku was still in the water. Surely she'd notice him when he was closer, though. She distracted herself by unhooking the bag that held her sword, setting it in the sand. She wouldn't need that sword again anytime soon.
Riku glanced at Kairi when she shrieked, and he saw her take off in a run. He only smirked; she wouldn't get too far before Sora caught up. He was too fast for her. But Riku continued on his way, coming out of the water, his clothes dripping with water as he started forward in the sand.
