A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Sora easily caught up with Kairi, wrapping his arms around her from behind. "Gotcha!" he said, smirking as he held onto her. That wasn't too hard, even if he had a little trouble with his soaking-wet shoes.

Kairi yelped, her arms pinned to her sides because of Sora's hold on her. "Sora!" she whined, looking at him over her shoulder. He was getting her all wet, and he was cold!

 

Riku continued up the beach toward the girl he cared for, hearing Kairi's whine and fighting a smile. "Hey, Light," he called, ruffling his wet hair. It was her turn.

Sora sighed, nuzzling the side of his wet, spiky head to Kairi's. "I do love our hugs," he said softly, gently squeezing her. Even if she wasn't hugging him back right now, he liked holding her.

 

Light blinked at the call, turning her head to look over at Riku. "Oh no..." she said, taking a small step back. He wasn't seriously considering hugging her right now, was he?

Kairi squeezed one eye shut when Sora pressed his wet hair against the side of her head. "I love them too, goofball," she said with a small smile. "Just not when you're wet and cold." That was the downside, since she couldn't feel warm in his arms.

 

Riku opened his arms, his vest dripping some water on the ground. "Come here," he said with a devious smirk. He wanted a hug.

"Would you rather be wet and cold too?" Sora asked with a small smirk, moving his head so he could see Kairi better. "I can throw you in the ocean if you want." Of course, he highly doubted she would want that to happen.

 

"No thanks," Lightning said, shaking her head and staying put. She saw Riku's expression, and she knew that she was in for the same treatment Kairi received. She would prefer to stay dry, not that Riku would care.

Kairi blinked, her eyes widening. "Um...no," she answered with a sheepish smile, turning her head to meet Sora's gaze. "This is good." She liked it better this way; she didn't want to be completely wet and cold, by any means.

 

Riku walked toward Lightning, his arms still open. "Why not?" he asked, his smirk in tact. He knew why, of course, but Light didn't want a hug from him?

"This is good?" Sora repeated, keeping his arms around Kairi. "In that case, I'll hold onto you a little longer." He grinned at his girlfriend, using her words against her as a reason for him to hold onto her.

 

Light started walking backwards to keep the distance between her and Riku, also looking out her peripheral vision to see if there was any routes to help her escape. "You're wet."

Kairi's smile grew warm, the girl shaking her head a little at Sora. "You're ridiculous," she said, but her tone was one of adoration. She loved him, regardless.

 

"And you're nervous," Riku pointed out, tilting his head as he pursued Lightning at a walking pace. "Which only encourages me." All he wanted was an innocent hug. Was that too much to ask?

"So are you," Sora retorted softly. "Turning down a hug just because I'm wet." His tone represented mock-disappointment, the teen not really caring that she tried avoiding him because he was wet. He had tried avoiding the water too.

 

"I'm not nervous," Light said, continuing to walk backwards without tripping. "Just trying to stay dry." She'd give Riku a hug when he was dry sometime, though she did have to admit the way he was pursuing her was cute.

Kairi giggled, unable to help herself. "Well, you caught me anyway, so I apologize," she said with a sweet smile, hoping the boy would forgive her. "I love your hugs." She always would.

 

Riku lowered his arms, though he didn't stop walking toward Lightning. "That's what the sun's for," he said with a small smile. "All I want is a small hug. No big deal."

Sora smiled at Kairi's expression, knowing the smile was meant to soften him up. And, as always, it did just that. "Apology accepted," he said, giving Kairi a kiss on the side of her hair for a second before he pulled back and looked at her. "And I'm glad you like my hugs, 'cause I never want to stop giving them."

 

"The sun's not drying you too quickly, so it is a big deal," Light said, though her small smirk was giving her away. She didn't care that much about getting wet, even if she would rather be dry. She wouldn't be too upset if Riku hugged her.

Kairi felt her smile soften at the kiss, and the words. "Don't," she said in agreement. The hugs were too nice to lose completely.

 

Riku approached Lightning, only a few feet away. "You think too much," he said, before he stepped forward and closed the distance between them, wrapping his arms around her.

Sora only smiled, gently squeezing Kairi as he held her from behind. He wouldn't stop loving her or showing affection, ever. It was impossible to even imagine, let alone carry out.

 

Light's eyes widened when Riku suddenly got close enough and embraced her, though her eyes stayed wider than usual because of how wet and cold he was. "Ugh, Riku!" she whined, though she didn't struggle against the hug.

Riku chuckled, squeezing Lightning at the whine. "What?" he asked innocently, playing dumb. She was warm compared to him, so maybe she was the sun that would warm him up.

"You're so cold," Lightning said, her voice holding fake disgust. That was true, and of course now she was getting cold too, but she liked being in Riku's arms so much she didn't care. It had been too long since they had a moment like this.

"Maybe on the outside," Riku said softly, the side of his wet head pressed against Lightning's hair. He didn't have a cold heart, not anymore.

Light embraced Riku back softly when he set his head against hers, her gaze up to see his face. "What do you mean?" she asked softly. She felt like she asked that a lot, but she couldn't help it. Riku was pretty cryptic sometimes.

Riku pulled his head back to gaze at Lightning, his small smile still on his face. "What I'm saying is that the outside doesn't always reflect what's on the inside," he said softly. He may have been cold physically, but on the inside, he was warm. Really warm.

Light felt a small smile spread on her lips, her gaze staying on Riku's. She understood now; that was his way of saying that he was happy. He was cold on the outside physically right now, and he had a cold exterior, but his heart was warm.

Riku's small smile grew a little when he saw the look on Lightning's face. You get it now, he thought silently, and that was enough. He leaned his head forward, connecting his lips with hers in a gentle kiss.

Light tilted her head upwards and shut her eyes, though a faint smile threatened to ruin the kiss. She was happier than she had been in a long time. For the first time in ages, things seemed perfect.

Riku kissed Lightning for a small moment before he pulled back. A light breeze blew over the beach and caused him to shiver a little, but he kept his arms wrapped around Lightning. He would warm up soon.

Lightning opened her eyes and looked up at Riku once the kiss was done, unaware that Sora had been gawking at his best friend showing that kind of affection to a girl. "Maybe you should get changed," she advised Riku softly. He looked a little cold.

Riku smirked weakly. "Yeah...maybe," he agreed. The walk home wasn't far, but he didn't want to go alone. But...Ven was still here, and he needed a peaceful day with his sister. Riku wouldn't drag her along.

As if on cue, Ven walked up to Lightning and Riku. "I'm gonna go help Terra and Aqua move our stuff into the house," he said. Their home was completely rebuilt and refurnished, and now they just had to move in the clothes that they had been living off of. He could take care of Light's stuff too, so she could spend time with Riku.
