Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku turned his head from Light to look at Ven. Once the words registered, he smirked a little. "You need this one to haul her load?" he asked, glancing at Lightning. He would let her go if that was what needed to be done.

"Nah," Ven said with a faint smirk. "This one can depend on her brother to take care of it." He looked to Light when he spoke, seeing her appreciative smile. But really, it was the least he could do after acting so harsh the past few weeks.
Riku nodded then. "Right," he said, his eyes leaving Ven to look at the girl that was still in his arms. In that case, he guessed Light was staying with him.

"Thanks, Ven," Light said, a small smile staying on her lips as she looked at her little brother. She saw him shrug and wave it off, but she knew he was just trying not to make a big deal of things. He smiled and then waved, running off towards his house.
Riku heard Ven run off, and once he was sure he was gone, he spoke. "He seems to be warming up to us," he said with the same small smirk. That was good. Really good, actually.

Light looked up at Riku, humming softly. "He sure does," she said softly. She was so glad for that; what Ven thought was still important. But she still planned on spending time with him in the future, to keep her promise about him not losing her like he did Mom and Dad.
Riku lifted a hand from Light's back to the side of her head, the wet side. "Good, because I am too," he said softly. He was becoming more comfortable with her, and that was something he loved.
  • Author
"And so am I," Light confirmed quietly, gaze on Riku's eyes. She was warming up to this too, even if her body was getting colder because of Riku's wet clothes. She was warm on the inside, like he was.
Riku smiled a little before he leaned forward, placing a light kiss on Lightning's forehead before pulling back. "Well now that you're free, walk home with me?" he asked softly. He didn't want to be away from her any time soon, and clearly it was going to be that way, since Ven left.

Light smiled softly, her embrace on Riku loosening. "Sure," she responded, her tone equal to Riku's in volume. She'd go home with him, since she had no other place she wanted to be anyway. And she would be with him, so that worked out well.
Riku pulled his arms back, though he reached for Lightning's hand. At the same time, he turned his head to look at Sora and Kairi, seeing them talking. "Hey!" he called. "Going home. Catch up with you guys later, 'kay?"

Sora paused in the conversation, turning to look over at Riku. He noticed Light slip her hand out of Riku's and walk a few feet to pick up her sword and its case, but he focused on his best friend. "Yeah, see you later," he said, lifting a hand and waving.
Kairi nodded slightly with what Sora said, waving her hand as well. She was so happy for Riku. He finally found someone that he cared for so deeply, and who cared for him in return. She remembered Sora's wide eyes at Riku, of all people, showing affection, but she thought it was sweet. The softie that she knew was within him finally surfaced.

Lightning put her sword case back on and walked over to Riku, noticing how the sun didn't dry him much at all. And she was soaked too for the most part, except for some of her hair. Oh well.
Riku motioned with Lightning to come with him, the boy starting toward the path nearby that would lead him home. The wind blew again, lightly, but it still caused the hairs on the back of his neck to rise. He really needed to get dry.

Lightning caught up to Riku in a few strides, walking beside him and letting the wind blow her hair behind her shoulders. It was only cool out because she was wet, but still, she hoped to get warmer once the wind was gone.
It didn't take long for Riku to reach his house, and he walked in, glancing behind him to see Light follow. Jasmine greeted him at the door, but she immediately ran to Lightning, someone she hadn't seen in almost two weeks.

Light shut the door behind her, though the dog almost got in the way. She smiled faintly and knelt down by the dog, petting her. Surprisingly, she had missed Jasmine a lot.
Riku smirked at the sight, taking off his wet shoes in the entryway. "Now I see who her favorite is," he said, looking from Jasmine to his girl. He hardly ever got greeted like that.
  • Author
Light glanced up at Riku as she petted the dog, a smile finding its way on her lips. "The feeling's mutual," she said with a small smirk. "I just tagged along with you so I could see Jasmine again." Of course that wasn't true; she was just joking.
Riku rolled his eyes and turned around, starting for the stairs. "Knew it," he muttered, though he smirked once he was turned around. He caught onto the look in Light's eyes; she was just joking.

Light smiled, watching Riku walk away for a few seconds before she started focusing on the dog again. She grabbed one of Jazzy's ears and started rubbing it, knowing that the dog liked it when people did that.
"Want me to grab you some clothes?" Riku called, grabbing onto the banister. He was referring to his own, since Light didn't have any here anymore. He didn't want her sitting around in wet clothes.
  • Author
Light arched a brow, looking at Riku by the banister. "I don't think any of your clothes'll fit me," she stated. Unless Riku had some stuff that was small on him.
Riku looked Light over briefly, and he nodded. "You're probably right," he said. She was thin, and of course, she had a different body type than him. His clothes wouldn't work.
