Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light's small smirk grew, the air around them lightening significantly. "What, no more surfing at night?" she asked, lightly elbowing Riku's arm beside her. "That's disappointing." It had really been a fun surprise, and she wasn't even big on surprises in the first place.
Riku focused forward, thinking about it. "Well, if it means that much to you, we will. Just not so soon," he said, glancing back at Light. "My dad gets up to make sure I'm still home in the middle of the night. The old man needs to calm down first." He smiled weakly. His dad had gotten a little crazy over making sure he didn't sneak out, but it was understandable; Riku always sneaked out in the past. His parents obviously wanted it to stop.

Light's smile softened in seriousness, the girl nodding in understanding. Family came first, no matter what. "I guess we'll have to do it during the day instead," she said. The waves wouldn't be as good, but it'd still be fun.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a small nod. "And knowing Sora, he'll be the first to join." He let his eyes fall on Jasmine, the boy thinking about how Sora was always up for surfing, even if he wasn't any good at it.

Lightning shrugged, looking forward at the path again. "The more the merrier, I guess," she said. "As long as we don't crash into each other." She didn't mind wiping out, but crashing into others would be really painful.
"Don't worry about that," Riku said softly, shaking his head. Everyone was usually careful when in the water; they knew what could happen. They would be the same way with something like surfing.

"Mm," Lightning hummed with a faint nod. She'd try not to, but it was hard when it came to new experiences like that. It was easy to worry when she didn't know exactly what to be careful of.
"Speaking of surfing," Riku said after a small moment. "Sorry about standing you up the other night. I didn't exactly plan on getting caught." He smiled sheepishly, glancing at Lightning before looking ahead again.

Light looked over at Riku, a weak smile on her lips. "I'm just glad I saw Sora a day or two after that," she said softly. "He filled me in on what happened." If he hadn't, Light would have been worried, and angry that Riku stood her up.
"I guess I should thank Sora for that big mouth of his," Riku said with a small smile. "Sometimes it does come in handy." Especially with that whole situation. He had been so worried about Light that he hadn't thought of the possibility of her finding out from someone else.

Light gently nudged Riku with her elbow, shaking her head a little. "You do realize he does think before he speaks, right?" she said in defense of another one of her friends. Sure, he revealed Riku's past to her instead of letting Riku do it himself, but he did it after thinking about it carefully. He said as much himself.
"Of course," Riku said, turning his head to look at Lightning. "I just like to tease him about it. Before the Keyblade, he wasn't as cautious." He smirked a little, remembering how much he ran his mouth, but Riku did the same. He couldn't exactly blame him; they were just that age at the time.

"Mm," Light hummed with a faint nod, nodding and looking ahead to the path. Jasmine wasn't disturbing them, just walking on her own. It was a wonder the dog didn't try running at all.
Riku nodded a little, though he let his eyes linger on Lightning. He was surprised with how...comfortable he was with her. Usually, he never let anyone in; he even hid some things from Sora and Kairi. But, Light was different. She always had been.

Light looked over at Riku again when she felt his gaze linger on her, and she smiled faintly at how he stared at her. "What?" she asked, tilting her head a little bit. Why was he staring?
Riku blinked, and turned his head sharply to look forward. "Oh, uh...nothing," he said, though a little lamely. He lifted his free hand to his face, scratching his cheek. Another thing that was different with Lightning... He always found himself lost in his thoughts when he looked at her.

Lightning smiled softly, leaning forward a little and looking at Riku's face as she walked beside him. "Nothing? Hm," she hummed, shaking her head. Obviously it wasn't nothing.
Riku felt himself grow shy...and nervous. He smiled sheepishly, a nervous laugh leaving him. "Uh..." he stuttered, glancing at Lightning before he quickly looked away. Idiot! What are you doing?!

Light stood upright, her smile turning to one with more amusement behind it. She folded her arms over her chest and looked over at Riku again. What was he so worked up about?
Riku glanced over at Lightning when he felt her gaze on him, and he lowered his hand. "What are you staring at?" he asked, turning the tables on her now. He started to compose himself, no longer acting like a babbling fool.

"You," Light responded with a small smirk. "Since I'm still waiting for an answer to my question." She arched a brow at him, trying to make him feel ashamed for turning the conversation to her.
"Fine." Riku glanced away, focusing forward. "Then I was looking at you." The problem was solved; question answered. Well, that was what he thought.

Lightning kept her brow arched, her gaze staying on Riku. "Okay wise guy, why were you looking at me?" she asked, rephrasing her question. That was what she was really asking.
"Because..." Riku stated softly, smirking a little. "I like to." He thought Light was...well, beautiful. She was strong too, and he admired that as well.

This time, Light was the one to look away. She looked down at the ground and started blushing faintly in shyness, the girl almost wishing she let Riku not answer the question. She felt so weird when she was shy.
