Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku glanced at Lightning out of the corner of his eye, and when he thought he saw some red in her cheeks, he smiled a little more. Shy Lightning was someone he hardly ever saw, but he liked to see her anyway.

"...You sure you weren't just staring because of something stuck on my face?" Light asked with a weak smirk, not looking up. She was trying to get rid of her shyness, an emotion she didn't know how to react to.
"Positive," Riku replied coolly, enjoying this. He felt...amused, and attracted to Lightning. She was so...cute. Cute? he thought in surprise, but then he just accepted it. Light was different than other girls, and she was beautiful. And so was her personality.

"...Oh," Light said, not knowing how else to respond to Riku's confident answer. He was looking at her...because he liked to. That wasn't anything wordy or overly romantic, and yet it still had her feeling shy.
Riku turned his head to look at Lightning, and upon seeing her face again, he chuckled. He lifted his arm closest to her and wrapped it around her shoulders, gently pulling her closer as he walked. "Relax," he told her, looking down at her with a small smile. "It's just me."

Lightning leaned into Riku lightly, a hand coming to his chest and the other wrapping around his lower back when he pulled her closer. "You always manage to surprise me," she confessed, faintly shaking her head a little in amusement. How was he able to do that?
Riku smiled a little more, the action involuntary. "Surprises? Me?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow. He then shook his head. "Nah." He had never been very good at surprises in the past, not that he ever tried. But there was a first time for everything.

Light lowered her hand off Riku's chest after a few moments, though she kept her other arm wrapped around him just as he kept an arm around her shoulders. "Yeah, you're right,' she said, dismissing it lightly. "It's not like you've ever surprised me by showing up in my bedroom in the middle of the night or anything." But, of course, he had done just that.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a small nod, looking at Jasmine just a few feet away. "I guess that was me, wasn't it?" Of course, there was also the cliff-diving activity a few weeks ago. That had been fun.

"It was either you or your twin," Light replied smoothly. "And if you had a twin, I would know about it. Sora would have told me." She smirked over at him, referring to earlier in the conversation when he said Sora had a big mouth.
Riku couldn't help but laugh, and after a second or two, he looked down at Lightning. "He probably would have," he said with a small nod, squeezing Light gently. She was clever. He liked that too.

"No doubt about it," Light responded with a small smirk and a nod, happier to hear Riku laugh. Could she really cause him enough happiness to make him laugh? She was hardly happy herself most of the time, but now...things were different. And she was glad.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, his eyes lingering on Light for another moment. It was hard for him to believe that he had once had a problem with her, a serious problem, like the day she first arrived. He threatened her... He couldn't imagine doing that now.

Light's smirk turned into a genuine smile, and she lightly squeezed Riku with the arm she had wrapped around his lower back. This was...nice. Very nice. She liked being with Riku, and he liked being with her. Now that they had more freedom with their relationship, she could only hope things went well for a while and they grew even closer. She was ready for that kind of relationship.
Riku tore his eyes from Lightning after a moment, though he looked to Jasmine instead. She was still walking obediently just in front of him, so they could walk at an easy pace. So far, this day had been pretty good.

Lightning looked ahead of her when Riku did the same, and again she was surprised at how Jasmine wasn't stirring up trouble for once. Of course, she wasn't going to complain. She never did like whiners.

One month later...

The month that passed was peaceful. Everyone enjoyed themselves the best they could, which wasn't that hard given how great the circumstances were. Riku wasn't separated from Lightning, and he and Ven were on better terms. He and Lightning were still going strong, even stronger than before; the past month with her had been great in his eyes. Until now. "Sora, go!" Riku cried, zooming quickly across the Savannah in the Pride Lands, away from Pride Rock. He was wearing his armor, protecting himself as they raced after the man that had stolen something of theirs that was valuable. Jiminy's journals. They'd been chasing him for quite some time now, and everyone was in pursuit. Out of the corner of his eye, Riku saw Aqua not too far off, flying on her glider as well. Roxas was doing the same on his other side. Behind him, on his glider, Lightning rode with him. He made sure she was with him, that way he could keep her safe. But Sora, he was one of the fastest on his glider, and closest to Warp's position. Warp... He was somebody Riku knew was bad news. Incredibly bad news.

"Got it!" Sora said to Riku, zooming ahead at his friend's cue. He saw Ven out of the corner of his eye, but Terra was at the rear of the group as a precautionary act. They didn't know if Warp had allies in this world or not. He summoned a Keyblade into his hand while still on his glider, glad he could dual-wield now. He grunted and threw it at Warp, knowing they had to stop this man who stole Jiminy's journals somehow.

Lightning looked past Riku, her arms wrapped around him as she looked to Warp. They only knew this man's name, and that he stole Jiminy's journals. But what did he want? Well, she knew one thing for sure: he wasn't going to get away. Not with all seven of them pursuing him, even if Lightning didn't have her own glider. She would have ridden Odin, but she realized that she put a lot of strain on him lately when it came to going from world to world. He needed to rest, and Riku's glider was big enough for teh two of them.

Warp looked over his shoulder at the shouts, a smirk on his handsome face as his black hair whipped around him with the wind. He saw the Keyblade wielder's weapon come toward him, and he steered his motor bike to the side, easily avoiding the attack. "Catch me if you can!" he shouted back at the warriors, heading for Wildebeest Valley.

Aqua grunted slightly, having seen the man's smirk. How arrogant and foolish he was, and aggravating. She fired off lasers from her glider, though they narrowly missed Warp as he flew across the Savannah.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows, looking at Warp speed off. "Riku, get closer and I should be able to land an attack," she said, shifting her gaze to him. She had an idea in mind, one similar to what she did in the Eden race.
"Right," Riku said with a small nod. He forced his glider to move more quickly, the boy passing up Roxas as he zoomed forward. He then passed Sora, getting closer to Warp. If Light was going to land an attack, she needed to do it now.

Light released Riku with one arm, taking out her gunblade and shifting it into a gun. She grunted and fired off a few shots to drive Warp over closer to one side, making it so that in a moment, he wouldn't weave from side to side when she tried her real move.

Warp jumped slightly when a bullet hit his bike, causing sparks. "Hey, watch the paint!" he cried, glancing over at the pink-haired girl that shot at him. He looked forward just as he entered Wildebeest Valley, seeing pillars of rock up ahead that could possibly help him get rid of these punks.

"Fly steady," Light said to Riku, her blowing hair not affecting her vision or judgment. She shifted her grip on him so she held onto his shoulder before she stood up behind him, careful not to ruin the balance of the bike. She then jumped off with a grunt, going towards the pillar of rocks before bouncing off those and landing on the back of Warp's bike, gunblade back in its case for now.

Riku's eyes followed Light, observing her on the back of Warp's motorcycle. He felt protective of her now that she wasn't directly with him, and he would be prepared to step in if he needed to. He heard Roxas yell his name, and he looked forward instantly. His eyes widened behind his helmet and he swung his glider to the left, avoiding one of the pillars of rock in the middle of the Valley.

When Warp sensed more weight on his bike, he looked over his shoulder. At the sight of the pink-hair girl, his eyes narrowed. "You're dead!" he cried. Nobody got this close to him or his bike unless he allowed it! The young man continued smoothly forward, going between two pillars, one being what Riku narrowly avoided, not that Warp cared too much.
