Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Mm," Roxas hummed with a curt nod. "Just a little sore." No surprise there. But he believed half of it was because he never fought in armor like that before; it was heavier than he thought, and that was probably another factor for his achy muscles.

Namine tilted her head slightly, still concerned. "Do you want to sit down?" she asked then. She didn't completely believe that Roxas was just a little sore; he had been pretty beat up when she saw him yesterday.
Roxas looked behind Namine at the couch, then shrugging a little as his arms were still around her. "Couldn't hurt," he supposed, agreeing without really thinking about it. It was true that everything hurt, but being with Namine kind of took that pain away.

Namine absently nodded, bringing her arms back to her side as she kept her gaze on Roxas. Why hadn't she invited him to sit down in the first place? She should have known that he would be sore, since his wounds didn't just disappear overnight.
Roxas pulled his arms back, letting them return to his sides. His gaze lingered on Namine for a second before he stepped past her, then turning and lowering himself to the sofa. He leaned back immediately, releasing a soft breath. He hated to admit it, but standing was uncomfortable these days. Sitting down was all he could really tolerate.

Namine turned around, looking to Roxas on the couch and seeing that he appeared more comfortable. She was glad for that, but she couldn't stop herself from asking another question. "You need anything?"
Roxas shook his head, lifting one of his arms to the back of the couch. He already quenched his thirst, and he wasn't really in the mood to eat. He was fine for now.

Namine tilted her head slightly, looking at Roxas on the couch and staying silent. He said he didn't need anything, but she still was wishing there was something she could do for him. Even if he appeared alright for the most part, she wanted to take care of him after what happened.
Roxas tilted his head a little, arching an eyebrow. "What is it?" he asked after a minute, seeing the way Namine was looking at him. Was there something wrong, other than the obvious?

Namine blinked, realizing that she had been staring. "Nothing," she said, lightly shaking her head. She was just thinking the same thing she always thought when she was put in this position and Roxas was hurting. She wanted to help...she just didn't know how.
Roxas's eyebrow returned to its normal place on his forehead, and he nodded slightly. However, that was all he did as a response. Things between him and Namine were...different, it felt like. But he wasn't sure why...

"I'm going to, uh, get a drink, okay?" Namine asked him, things feeling a little awkward in the air for some reason. She didn't know why that was, but she didn't like it one bit.
"'Kay," Roxas said softly, nodding again. His eyes stayed on Namine, though, trying to figure out just what was going on. Things felt weird. Was it because he wasn't sure what to say after something so...devastating happened? Or was there something else?

Namine turned around and headed for the kitchen, going in and seeing a glass already on the counter. But she went into the cabinet and got her own glass, filling it with water from the facet and taking a few sips. She'd go back into the living room in a sec; she actually was thirsty.
Roxas lowered his head and brought his arm near his side up near his face, pinching the bridge of his nose. He really didn't need confusion on top of everything else right now. Maybe if he just ignored it, it would go away...

Namine walked back into the living room after a few moments, leaving her half-full glass in the kitchen. She saw Roxas's position, and she wordlessly started over towards him, not even sure why things felt awkward a few moments ago.
After all, this was Namine that Roxas was with. Nothing should be this way around her; maybe it was just because they hadn't seen each other in a few days? That was his only guess.
  • Author
Namine sat down beside Roxas on the couch, the girl automatically sitting under the arm that Roxas had draped over the back of the couch. They shouldn't have felt awkward right now; she guessed that it was just because...well, she honestly didn't know why. But she was going to try and get rid of the tension.
Roxas's fingers released the bridge of his nose as he turned his head, the slight weight on his side catching his attention. His eyes located Namine, of course, and he didn't really say anything. What could he say? All he wanted lately was to be with her, and now that he was, he was blowing it! Idiot...

Namine wordlessly lifted a hand and set it on Roxas's leg, her eyes also following the motion. She didn't want things to be weird; they were finally together again! It was time to be happy and comfortable and content, not...whatever this aura in the air was.
"Uh...sorry about this," Roxas apologized without thought, reaching his hand that wasn't on the back of the couch up to ruffle his hair. It was his fault, wasn't it? He was the one who initiated conversation, so he was the one that was supposed to tell Namine how glad he was to see her and stuff. And yet he didn't do that.
  • Author
Namine looked up at Roxas, not liking that he took the blame for something that neither of them could really control. Where was this aura coming from? Was it her worry? If that was the case, then she should have been the one apologizing. "Don't be," she insisted softly.
An awkward smile appeared on Roxas's face at that. "Really?" he asked, unsure. "I...think it's my fault, y'know? I haven't seen you in days, and then when I finally get to, I blow it." I'm like a train wreck...all beat up and odd.

Namine tilted her head slightly, her eyes staying on Roxas's eyes despite how badly the awkwardness made her want to break eye-contact. "How's that?" she asked, referring to his last comment. How was he blowing it?
Roxas tore his eyes away from Namine out of his own awkwardness. "...Being weird," he said softly, staring down at her hand on his leg. It was true; he was acting that way. It wasn't like him to do this, and yet he was doing it.
