Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning cried out when she was hit by an arrow and a bullet or two, though none of them pierced her skin. That was how it was the whole battle; she had to worry about three close-range fighters and two shooters. Eventually she managed to defeat Zane (a lucky sniper shot with her own gun that he couldn't block) and now she was fighting Kamon. She swung her sword at his arms, the teen jumping back to avoid her attack while Rena hit her back and knocked her forward. There was no end to this!

Darren fired off another arrow, enraged that they lost Zane. Stupid girl. She was going to pay for ending his life! Darren pulled another arrow back, prepared to shoot when there was an opening.

Light did a flip to the side to avoid the arrow, though she was slugged by Kamon. She grunted and grasped his ankle while she was down, standing up and then flipping him over her with enough force that the went through the ice, a piece of it piercing his back as he sank down to the depths. She was lucky; that ice went into his heart. His life was over.

Darren gasped, taking a step forward as he lowered his bow. No! he thought in anger. Kamon. The boy furrowed his eyebrows and brought his bow back up, shooting it at Lightning.

Light grunted when an arrow pierced her side, the sharpness, making her squeeze her eyes shut in pain. She felt Gual's axe impact her back and she fell forward, the ice cracking a little with the force of her fall. She was in too much pain, and too exhausted. She was finished.

Darren was so focused on setting another arrow in his bow that he neglected to notice another portal be summoned in the sky, and the person who traveled through it. He aimed at Lightning, prepared to release another arrow, but he finally sensed a disturbance in the air. It made him hesitate.

The figure dressed in all black armor rode his glider over the atmosphere, having sensed the Darkness here. But "here" was his previous home, one he hated to see in such an icy state. But trouble was below, and so he shot off a laser from his glider at the kid with the arrow, forcing it to turn to dust. He wasn't about to let someone get hurt, even an innocent bystander.

Light lifted her head, having seen Darren ready to fire off an arrow before something else hit him first. She turned to see a person in all black on the glider, somebody she didn't recognize but got a dark vibe from. What else was she to suspect when they were wearing all black? She saw a sword coming down at her from the front and she gasped, rolling over to the side to avoid it. She rolled a little ways, the ice breaking where she had been before. She forced herself to her feet with gunblade held in front of her, the girl breathlessly focusing on Gual and Rena. She couldn't focus on the arrow in her side right now, or on Darren.

"Guys!" Darren cried, shaken when he saw his strong arrows pitifully turn to ashes. His eyes were stuck on the guy in black, someone who was already bad news. They had to get out of here.

Riku jumped off his glider and summoned his Keyblade to his hand before his feet touched the snow, the young man's muscular build coming through in his dark suit and showing that he wasn't one to mess with. His Keyblade was red and black now, no longer Way to Dawn as he held it in his grasp. From behind his tinted helmet he looked from Darren to Rena and Gual, his gloved hand tightening on his blade. His posture seemed to say it all. Get out.

"One sec, boss!" Gual said, nodding to Rena. She ran forward at Light to distract her while while he went around behind her. The plan worked, and he swung at her with all his might. He was pleased to hear a cry leave her lips when she flew forward a few feet, crashing through the ice and into the frigid water. That was all they had time for today; the Black Knight was going to ruin everything again. He huffed, getting to his ship a second after Rena. Time to go.

Darren put away his bow and ran toward his vessel, climbing in and starting it up immediately. He glanced at the Black Knight briefly before he took off, lifting himself into the sky. It was time to report to Warp.

Riku watched Darren go, though his grip on his Keyblade tightened in fear. She...she went in the water. But...was it really her? It would have to wait. He had to make sure these thugs left.

Light first felt suffocated by the cold water, but she was trained as a soldier; she knew not to let panic overtake her. She kept her eyes shut so they wouldn't get frozen when she opened them, swimming to the surface. She reached the open area and set her arms on the ice in front of her, coughing water and gasping for air as she looked up at the sky to see the other two enemies escape. They left her alive, without taking the watch?
Riku saw the teens disappear in the sky, and he turned his attention to the ice...his frozen ocean. Lightning, he thought, his eyes softening as he looked at her from behind his helmet. She...was alive. She was really alive. He thought Warp had been lying, but he wasn't. Lightning was here.

Lightning crawled out of the ocean, unaware of the other presence that saved her life. She figured he left to chase after the others. She got down on her hands and knees on the ice, her gunblade a few yards away as she kept her head lowered and tried to still the tremble she felt go through her body. The freezing air had been bad, but now she was soaked from going in ice water. If she didn't think of something before the cold got to her mind, she would die.
But I can't reveal myself now, Riku thought as he gazed at her. It was too dangerous, and not just for himself. He walked forward, Keyblade still in hand. He was cautious, however, since she wouldn't recognize him. Nobody did. He was the Black Knight, not Riku.

Lightning tensed further when she heard a noise, and she lifted her head to look over at the source. The stranger in all black was still with her. She shifted her position so one knee was on the ice, her other knee up as she also brought up her arms. Her sword was out of reach, but she'd still try to defend herself the best she could. She looked up at the figure behind her icy bangs, still breathless and wounded from the fight.
Lightning, Riku wanted to say, the boy breathless at the sight of her. It had been five years. Five years he went thinking she was dead. But now, she was right in front of him. He stopped a few feet from her, seeing the way she looked at him. Oh...right. He appeared as a threat to her.

Light shifted her gaze from the mask to the weapon in the man's hand, surprised to see him stop a few feet away. He wasn't going to kill her right away? Maybe he wasn't with those goons of Warp's that attacked her before. But what was this vibe she was getting from him? Why was he holding such a strange weapon if he didn't have any intention of hurting her? And was that weapon a...Keyblade?
Riku knew Light's gaze was on his weapon, and he summoned it away, hoping that would show that he didn't want to hurt her. He would never...even after five years. He cared too much about her.

Light grunted softly in surprise, though it also at the cold that was starting to get to her. The person was weaponless. She looked up at the mask again, though she couldn't see the man's face. "...Who are you?" she asked, voice a little more husky than usual because of the cold.
Riku didn't say anything, his gaze dropping to the gunblade that lay on the ground nearby. He took a few steps over to it, his black boots crunching through the thick snow. He bent down and grabbed the gunblade by its handle, never having held the weapon before. He turned his head to Lightning and started toward her, only wanting to give it back.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows, seeing the figure pick up her weapon. He summoned his own weapon away to kill her with her own sword. Terrific. She tried getting up but slipped because of her tiredness, back down to hands and knees now as hypothermia started to set in and affect everything. She lowered her head and exhaled a shaky breath, knowing she was probably going to die at this stranger's hand rather than by hypothermia.
Riku knelt down in front of Lightning once he was in front of her, offering her weapon out to her. He knew her; she hardly ever went without it in the past. And yet she still looked the same. While he had aged, she didn't; she jumped through time.

Light lifted her head, surprised yet again by this stranger. He was offering the sword to her. She hesitantly reached out and grasped the hilt, though she looked up to the mask again now that the person was closer. But she still couldn't see through it. "...You can't speak, can you?" she asked. He didn't answer who he was, and he hadn't uttered a sound since he got here. He must have not had a voice.
Riku shook his head, thinking his response: Not yet. He couldn't talk yet. He took his hand back and set it on his knee. Lightning looked so cold...

Light focused on shutting her sword like she naturally did, pushing up with her one hand to push herself back to her knees as she put her sword away. "Are you my enemy?" she asked, seeing now that the person understood her. She could ask yes or no questions and get some information now.
