Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Never, Riku thought as he shook his head. He would never be her enemy. He reached behind him with both hands, wanting to unclasp his cape that was attached to his suit behind his neck. He was hoping that since he was this close, he could at least do this.

Light followed the stranger's motion with her eyes, one hand set on the bag attached to her thigh. She had some smoke bombs in there; if anything happened, she could get one out and maybe flee. But her mind was becoming fuzzy, no doubt because of hypothermia. She curled her free hand into a fist, though her hand was starting to get numb.
Riku unhooked his cape and gathered it in one hand. He leaned forward silently and swept it around Light, grabbing it with his other hand. He let it fall over Light's shoulders and back before he leaned away, giving her some room. She didn't know him; she wouldn't want him so close.

Light blinked at the gesture, lifting both her hands to the cloth. It was warm. She pulled down on it a little and wrapped it around her arms, though she was still freezing and suffering from hypothermia. It'd get worse in time, though. Much worse. "It's too cold here," she said, eyebrows furrowing in seriousness. And her words were less enunciated than she would have liked; slurred words was another sign of hypothermia. "Is there some place I can go?" She tried to think of worlds she could go to, but she didn't know much about this time. Anything could have happened, considering how this world was frozen solid.
Riku nodded once and stood up, then offering one gloved hand out to Lightning. Come with me. He knew where to take her, someplace safe.

Lightning saw the hand offered to her, but she shook her head slightly. She wouldn't accept that assistance; it would leave her vulnerable if this stranger did choose to turn against her. She set a hand on the snow-covered ice and pushed herself up, keeping the cape around her shoulders. "You'll lead me there?"
Riku's fingers curled into a loose fist at the rejection, his hand coming back to rest at his side. He nodded once. It would require her to ride his glider with him, but he didn't know if she would do that; she wouldn't even take his hand.

"Okay," Lightning said with a small nod. She could still summon Odin, couldn't she? To take her to another world? She glanced downward to feel how much strength she had within her, and she knew it wasn't enough. She had no transportation.
Riku took a few steps back and summoned his Keyblade to his grasp. He tightened his hold on it and turned to the side, holding it toward the ground with both hands. The tip of it glowed with warm light before he tossed it into the air. In a matter of seconds his glider formed, still in the form of a bike, even if the Keyblade was different.

Light blinked, tilting her head slightly in wonder. "...Huh," she said softly to herself. So that weapon was a Keyblade. She looked back up to the armored person in wonder, though she still didn't recognize him. She didn't think she knew him, since she figured she went further into the future than just five years.
Riku approached his glider, which was floating only a small foot above the snow. He climbed on and put his hands on the bars, but then he turned his head. Through his tinted mask he gazed at Lightning, silently telling her that he was waiting.

Keyblade wielders were my allies in the past, Lightning thought, stepping forward after a moment. Hopefully you're the same, stranger. She took the cape off her shoulders and clipped it back onto his armor before she sat down behind him, her hands finding his shoulders. She was ready.
Riku's grasp on the handles of his glider tightened at Light's touch. It had been too long since he'd felt her touch him. Five years too long. He lifted his glider off the ground and summoned a portal straight ahead, the boy taking off toward it.

To her dislike, Lightning eventually found that holding onto the man's shoulders was too hard. Especially because of the numbness in her limbs. She had to wrap her arms around his lower torso and sit closer to him than she already was, shivering because of how freezing she was. And the hypothermia was making her feel so weak...But she couldn't pass out. She was stronger than that.
Riku soared through space, knowing the trip back to his new home would take a few minutes. But he savored Light's touch while he could. Even so, he would let her know who he was when they were safely in his home. Light would know everything then.

Lightning shut her eyes, breathing more shallow now. She had a pretty bad case of hypothermia, not that she was surprised. She was in the cold for a while, she fell into ice water, and she was still soaked. She felt terrible all over.
Riku traveled through space for a few more moments before he arrived in the world he now called home. Land of Departure. It was daylight here now, but it would soon be dark. Through his tinted mask he saw the castle, heading toward it as he passed the Summit. The place was in ruins still from so many years ago, when Xehanort sent it to Darkness.

Light opened her eyes when she and the stranger entered a world's atmosphere, and she had to blink a few times to focus in on everything. But she still didn't recognize this world at all. It wasn't familiar in the slightest, so maybe she was never there in the past. But, no matter the case, this world was in ruins.
Riku lowered his glider to the area just in front of the castle's entrance, a small piece of the land broken off from its previous destruction. He lowered his glider all the way to the ground, that way Lightning could easily get off. He hoped she was doing alright.

Light released the person in armor, only setting a hand on his shoulder when she got off because she needed the balance. She got off and took a few steps forward, looking up at the ruined castle. What happened here? This place didn't look like it was destroyed by time; it looked like somebody attacked it.
Riku swung his leg over and stood up, off his glider. He willed it to disappear as he looked to Lightning, seeing the way she stared at the castle. It may have looked bad on the outside, but the inside was different. She would find out soon enough.

Light shivered, her hair and clothes still soaked from her fall into the ocean. She sank down to her knees and wrapped her arms around her torso, head lowered. She was freezing...She didn't care who this stranger was now, or why he brought her to this world, but she needed to get warm. Now.
Riku looked down at Lightning when she fell to her knees and he took a step over and stood in front of her. He then bent down and tucked his hands underneath her arms. He needed to get her inside.

Lightning looked up at the mask for the millionth time, and for the millionth time, she couldn't see past it. She didn't fight against the person putting his hands under her arms, feeling apathy towards it now. She felt confusion about being brought here, though. "Why are we here?" she asked softly, though she knew this person couldn't answer her questions. He couldn't speak, after all.
Riku lifted Lightning up to a standing position, knowing that the only way he could really carry her was on his back. Stand, Light, he thought. She needed to keep herself up, if just for a second.
