Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light stood with the stranger's assistance, surprised at how gently he helped her up. The more she was around him, the more she sensed that he really wasn't an enemy. That was good, but she wasn't letting her guard down yet.
Riku released Lightning and turned around, bending down slightly and putting his arms behind him. He jerked his head as he looked back at her, motioning for her to get on his back. He'd carry her in; she could hardly stand.

Lightning hesitated with the gesture, though she knew what it meant. She was supposed to get onto his back. ...No choice, she thought to herself. She stood right behind the stranger and placed her hands on his shoulders before she got onto his back as he requested, not letting the cape get in her way.
Riku let his hands curve around Light's legs gently but securely, the twenty-three year old starting up the steps to reach the castle entrance. He would let Light get comfortable once they were inside.

Light looked up at the castle that they were getting closer to, though she was still on edge. How could she not be? She just jumped through time...And she had no idea when or where she was. Or who she was with. But still, this person seemed familiar in so many ways...Still, she knew it couldn't be him. It just couldn't be.
Riku approached the set of large doors as he held Light on his back, but he managed to get the door open by pushing on it with one of his shoulders; his strength had grown over the last five years. He walked into the castle, sunlight pouring in from the large window just above him, the place more cleaned up than the outside.

Light kept her hands on the stranger's shoulders, though her grip loosened when she looked around. This place was nicer on the inside than it was on the outside. Did this man live here? Or was it somebody else, who could help her and tell her what was going on?
Riku approached the staircase not too far off, planning on letting Light sit there for just a moment; he would take her to his room soon enough. First, she had to know who she was with; he didn't want to hide any longer.

Light felt herself get lightheaded, but she knew she had to distract herself somehow. Conversation was the only way. "Do you live here?" she asked, shifting her gaze to the person carrying her.
Riku nodded a little, feeling Light's gaze on him. He walked further over to the stairs before he stopped and turned a little, loosening his hold on her legs. He felt that would be enough of a sign for her to know to go ahead and hop down.

Lightning blinked in confusion, the stranger no longer walking. What, they were stopping by the stairs. Why? she wanted to ask. Regardless, she got down off his back and took a small step over, setting a hand on the railing of the stairway to keep herself up.
Riku's arms came back down to his sides, and he walked back to shut the door and lock it. He couldn't risk anyone finding this spot, not that they would suspect it; the place was in ruins, as far as anyone could tell.

Lightning watched the figure, seeing him lock the door. That was either to keep her in or keep others out. She preferred to believe that it was the latter. "I doubt we were followed," she said to the stranger who was showing no threat to her. That crew fled the scene in Destiny Islands before she and the stranger left.
Better safe than sorry, Riku thought, finishing his lock up on the door. He turned around once he was finished, looking to Light through his mask. It was safe to tell her now, wasn't it?

Light felt the person's gaze on her, and she returned it even if she couldn't see their eyes. "I have a lot of questions," she said after a few moments. "Is there any way we can communicate instead of me asking yes or no questions?" Did he have paper he could write on? A computer to type on? There had to be some way...
Yeah, Riku thought, though he answered his own personal question. As for Light's... "Yeah," he answered with a nod, speaking for the first time. She could ask anything she wanted.

Light blinked at the voice, surprised. "You can speak," she said, the confusion causing her to tense. "Why did you lie to me earlier?" It didn't make sense to her, and she hated lies in the first place. What else was this person hiding? She asked these questions, either aloud or to herself, to distract her from another thought. She believed...she recognized the voice.
"Found it necessary," Riku said shortly, his voice low. He hadn't spoken to anyone in quite a while. Kairi had been the last person, who he paid a visit to a few months ago. Warp was the only other person, the one who told him Light was alive. Ever since that day, he'd been waiting for her. He'd wanted to see her so badly.

Light glanced at the staircase behind her, and she lowered herself down so she was sitting on one of the steps. "You found it necessary," she repeated in confusion. "Why?"
Riku smirked slightly and lifted his hands to his helmet. He pulled it up and away from his head, revealing his face to the girl he had missed for so long. "Couldn't have anyone recognizing me," he said, tucking the helmet under one arm and against his hip. He tilted his head with the same half-smile on his face as he looked at Lightning, his aqua eyes seeing her clearly for the first time in five years.

Lightning was glad she sat down, because if she hadn't, she would have lost her balance and fallen in surprise. Her eyes were wider than usual, of course, and for a moment she forgot to breathe. She forgot about how freezing cold she was, and how lost and confused she was in this time. She only remembered the name of the person in front of her. "...Riku."
Riku's half-smile grew slightly, and he nodded once, his now shoulder-length silver hair falling around his face. Lightning. He was relieved, awestruck, ecstatic, and incredibly emotional in general at just the sight of her. He had been since he realized she was the one being attacked, but he'd had to hold his emotions in check until they got here, somewhere safe. A place where he could be himself, no Black Knight involved.

Light exhaled a breath, feeling her eyes get moist. She leaned forward and set her elbows on her knees, her hands coming up to her face. "Thank goodness," she said, emotion coming through in her voice. She hadn't jumped through as much time as she thought she had, and she had her old boyfriend and close friend right in front of her. Finally, she was safe.
The Black Knight's smirk remained. "Hmph. Nice to see you too, Light," Riku said casually, though he felt his eyes soften at the sound of her voice. She sounded so...relieved. Was that it? He felt the same, but his emotions didn't come through as easily.

Light felt herself get choked up at the voice, one she couldn't deny she recognized now. It was Riku. He was here, with her. He was older, no doubt about that, but he was still himself. She kept up her one hand and used it to cover her eyes, lifting the other to signal she needed a moment. She was already a mess, so happy to see Riku.
