Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku felt his smile turn genuine, the boy nodding a little. He allowed his armor to fade away, revealing his tight black t-shirt that accentuated his larger muscles, as well as a pair of jeans. A few belts criss-crossed over his pants, which were tucked into some black combat boots. His appearance may have changed, but Light's stayed the same. She really had been in time continuum throughout the last five years.

Lightning lifted her hand away from her moist eyes, unable to keep her gaze off Riku now. She saw the shift from the armor to more normal clothing, but she didn't focus on it as she got up on her feet. She found more strength at the sight of him. She quickly closed the distance between them and wrapped her arms around him, not caring how time passed and how he was different. He was still Riku.
Riku let his arms wrap around Lightning instantly, his hold on her tight. He lowered his head to be closer to her, just looking at her. "You haven't changed a bit," he said softly in her ear. Not that he expected her too; time travel was an interesting thing.

Light felt her eyes get more moist at how Riku spoke to her, and she lifted her gaze to his face. "You have, but you're still you," she said softly. She didn't doubt one bit that he was still Riku, the person that she got to know in the past. But how far in the past? It looked like a few years.
Riku blinked at the moisture in Lightning's eyes, and he lifted one of his arms from around her and set his hand against her cheek. "Light..." he said softly. Don't cry. He'd never seen her so emotional. Clearly something did change over the last five years.

Light lowered her head and shut her eyes, just savoring Riku's warm hand against her cold cheek. He was here. With her. He was alive and holding her and...he saved her. He saved her life back on Destiny Islands, and she hadn't even known it till now.
Riku let his thumb roam over Lightning's skin, but one thought was on his mind now that he was holding her. "...You really are freezing," he said quietly, his eyes now soft with concern. He'd seen her frozen bangs back on the islands, but...he hadn't thought it was too serious. Big mistake on my part.

Light nodded faintly, opening her eyes and gazing at the ground. "That's what happens when you fall into ice water and the air is way below freezing," she said softly. Wasn't it obvious? She wasn't just cold; she was sick because of it. Hypothermia.
Riku kept his hand against Light's cheek, not saying anything. How long had she been in Destiny Islands for? Or, dare he say, the ruins of it? Had it been that long before he showed up?

"...You wouldn't happen to have any dry clothes, would you?" Light asked quietly, lifting her gaze to Riku. That was one of many questions she had to ask, but for now, it would be one of the only ones. She had to get warm before she tried to sort everything out.
Riku nodded once. "Yeah," he said, pulling his hand back and loosening his hold on her in general. "Upstairs." He glanced behind her to the second floor before his eyes found her again. Light could borrow some of his clothes, even if they were a little big.

Light glanced towards the stairs before she looked back to Riku, nodding faintly as she loosened her embrace on him. He made it sound like she was going up alone, but she couldn't focus on that. Getting warm had to be her priority. She was already too cold for too long.
Riku pulled his only arm around Light back, but he didn't want to lose hold of her completely; he would lead her upstairs, but he would hold her hand along the way. It had been too long since he'd last seen her. Way too long.

Light pulled both her arms back and gazed up at Riku for a second, her eyes dancing over his face. But then she turned around and started for the stairs, trying not to let Riku see how off-balance she felt. Was that because of the hypothermia, or because of how relieved she was to see him?
Riku watched Light go a few steps, wanting to say something but not saying a word. He scratched his cheek, having felt like that awkward teenage boy again, the one he had been at the start of his and Light's relationship...five years ago. Riku went after Lightning, walking at her pace behind her.

Light gripped the railing on the way up, her hold tight as it could be as she went up. She felt terrible and overwhelmed, but she would have been much worse if Riku wasn't with her. Or would she have been better, since now she couldn't stop thinking about him or her other friends. And her little brother and sister. Ven, Serah, are you guys okay?
Riku took the stairs two at a time, catching up with Lightning easily as he ascended the stairs beside her. They reached the top and he motioned for her to follow him down the hall, where he could take her to his room.

Lightning wordlessly followed Riku's lead, moving to walk closer to the wall so she could set a hand against it for support. She wanted so badly just to focus on other matters, but she couldn't. Her mind was foggy and she was confused and a million other things. She only knew that she needed to get warm before anything else.
Riku glanced at Lightning as they walked down the hall, his aqua eyes lingering on her for longer than they would have in the past. He missed her...so much. He thought she was dead for the past four years, but here she was...with him. Alive.

"...I need to know," Light said softly, walking a small step behind Riku and to the side as she kept a hand running over the wall. "Is Ven alright?" She was too concerned to not bring it up to Riku.
"He's fine," Riku said with a small nod, turning his head to look forward as they walked. "He's in Cocoon, with Serah." He'd gone there because he thought it would be what Light wanted, since everyone believed she was gone for good back then.

Lightning blinked in surprise, Riku answering her other unspoken question. "...You'll have to explain it later," she said softly. "My head's spinning." It was mostly the cold, but it was also this situation. She jumped through time, and that was basically all she knew. She was so clueless about everything, and it made her feel very lost.
Riku nodded once, slowing his pace as they came to his door. It was open, and he stopped to motion Light inside with his arm. They were here, and he would get her some clothes for the night.

Light glanced up at Riku's motion, and she nodded faintly to him as she passed by him. She entered the new room and saw that it was a bedroom, and she just guessed it was Riku's. He did live alone, didn't he?
Riku walked in after Light, though he immediately went over to the dresser that was here when he arrived. He didn't know whose room this had been before, but it was his now, and had been for a while. He heard movement to his left and he looked over. Curled up into a ball on her blanket was his loyal companion. "Hey, Jazz," Riku greeted softly, seeing her looking at him with curious eyes.
