A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light looked back towards the window, eyebrows furrowing slightly as she ignored Riku's look. "I'm just taking a guess, but Warp probably won't come out until he has no other choice," she said, trying to get the conversation back on topic. But knowing Riku, he'd change it back to her.

"Great. Until then, rest up," Riku said, lifting his hand and setting it on Lightning's shoulder. He really wanted her to at least lie down. Technically, she'd been on her feet for five years, but really it had just been about three hours. Regardless, he wanted her to get some rest and relax.

"That doesn't mean that the others won't come for me soon," Light said while continuing to ignore Riku. "There's no time to just sit around." They needed to take action, somehow.

"While you rest, I'll think up a plan to get the ball rolling," Riku insisted yet again, putting his other hand on Light's opposite shoulder and starting to turn her in place. He didn't want her worrying; he would handle it.

Light was forced to turn, not having the strength to fight back against Riku. "I just said we don't have time to sit around," she said, voice more tense as she glanced over at Riku. Wasn't he listening?

"They have no idea where you are," Riku assured her, starting to push her toward the bed. "So stop worrying." He would stay up and think about things.

Light was also forced to walk forward, not even finding the energy to try and stop the person forcing her to the bed. "Riku," she protested. She didn't feel right sleeping. She already missed five years, and she would miss more in her sleep.

Riku furrowed his eyebrows a little at Light's tone, but otherwise continued ushering her toward the bed until they were right in front of it. "At least lie down," he said, taking his hands off her shoulders. "It'll settle my worries."

Lightning glanced over her shoulder, some sadness taking the place of her frustration. "I've already missed five years," she stated softly. "I can't afford to miss any more." No matter how badly she needed the rest.

Riku blinked at that, his expression softening. "Oh..." he said, not knowing what else to say. He had just been worried about her earlier; he figured she would want to recover at least a little bit. But she clearly didn't need to.

"And I...want to be with you," Light concluded softly, looking up at Riku's eyes. She didn't want to sleep and be away from him, even for his sake. Five years was a long time to be apart.

"Trust me, that feeling's mutual." Riku's aqua eyes focused on Lightning's pale blue, not a thing changing about them since he'd last seen her. A lot hadn't changed about her, but he was different. However, when things came to Light, Riku hadn't changed a bit; his feelings were still the same as they were five years ago.

"Will you stay with me, when I rest?" Light requested quietly, not tearing her eyes away from Riku's. It was the only thing she wanted right now. Well, the only desire that she could have immediately, anyway.

Riku smiled faintly at the request, nodding. "You don't have to ask me twice," he told Light gently. Of course he would stay with her; he couldn't even ponder the idea of leaving her.

Light hummed, a small smile appearing on her lips. She nodded as well before she turned around towards the bed again, climbing in and laying on her back next to Jasmine. She had to get some rest, whether she liked it or not.

Riku's hands were curled into light fists naturally as he remained where he was, his eyes trailing Light's movements. He really had missed her. Five years was way too long.

Light could have pulled up the sheets, but she suddenly was extremely tired. She should have known this would have happened when she laid down. She set a hand on her stomach and shut her eyes, exhaling a soft breath. Maybe sleep wasn't such a bad idea.

Riku kept his eyes trained on Lightning before he sat himself down on the bed beside her. There wasn't much room, but that was alright; he didn't care. He lifted his hand and brushed Light's now-damp bangs out of her face, his fingertips lightly skimming her forehead.

Light subconsciously turned her head towards Riku when he touched her, the girl already half-asleep. But she remembered that, and how for her, she just felt Riku do this yesterday. But that was really years ago, at least for this Riku. It was baffling.

Riku let his fingertips travel over the skin of Light's temple and cheek, the boy cupping her face lightly with his hand. He could tell she was falling asleep, seeing how relaxed she appeared. That was good, but of course, he wouldn't leave her. He couldn't imagine doing it now.

Lightning felt the warmth from the touch, and any coldness she felt from earlier melted away. She was safe, and not alone in this experience. She would survive. After those thoughts, she lost consciousness, having faith that Riku wouldn't leave her alone.

Riku ran his thumb over Light's cheek once before he pulled his hand back, though his eyes lingered on the girl before him. The circumstances were awful, but he was so happy to see her. He wasn't sure Light knew how much his day was made when she appeared.

Light breathed evenly after Riku removed his hand, completely asleep by now. It was the first time she slept in over a day, since the day before in her time she had been focusing on tracking down Warp. It was so long ago, and yet he was still free. Well, he wouldn't be alive for long. Lightning would try to bring an end to him.

Riku stayed by Lightning's side for hours, his back against the side of the bed as he thought up plans to take down Warp, or at least drag him out of his hiding place. He knew his lackeys would show up immediately, and eventually, he came up with an idea. One that would hopefully work.

Later that day

 

After waking up and discussing things with Riku, they came up with a plan. Lightning would bait out the lackeys and lead them to one world. She'd fight them off, but then Riku would arrive and set a trap to keep them in. They'd drag the information out of them. But in order for them to even get that far, Lightning needed a ride through space. She had a ship much like the ones in Eden, the ones that soldiers used when they tried to stop the l'Cie from ruining the race. She was dressed in her normal attire now, an earpiece in her ear as she waited for Warp's lackeys to pick up on her trail. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long.
