Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Rena smirked and pressed a button, sending a missile at the back of Lightning's ship. The rocket went right for her, not straying off the set path that Rena forced it to take. That witch was going down.

Light looked over her should when she sensed something coming, and she gasped when she saw the missile. She had no choice but to turn forward and brace herself, the missile impacting her just a second later. She lost control of her ship and cried out, flying straight for some strange world.

Riku's eyes widened at the scream. "Lightning?" he called, but all he got was static, silence. "Lightning, answer me!" She couldn't have been taken down already...

Lightning flew into the world's atmosphere and tried to save her ship so she could fly it and land it somewhere, but she couldn't. She was right at the top of a waterfall and she abandoned ship a second or two before it crashed into the water, jumping and landing under the cover of the trees to one side of the water.

Riku got nothing but static as he flew through space, and his hands tightened around the handles of his glider. "Tune to next available station," he ordered tightly, and he heard the noise his radio made as it went to the next few stations over. It was then that he got feedback.

"That'll show her," Darren said into his headset, turning his gaze to his comrades' ships floating next to his own. "But we don't know if she's dead for sure. We'll have to follow her in."

"We need to recover the stolen watch anyway," Rena said with a faint nod, looking at the world. "Let's go." She started into that world, not recognizing it as one they searched before. It looked pretty woodsy, and she was unaware that their enemy, a trained soldier, wasn't down for the count. Rather, she was running under the cover of nightfall and the trees to distance herself from the crash that could be easily spotted.

"Right." Riku heard that response, recognizing it briefly. It was that boy Darren who spoke. "Looks like a jungle down there, so be on your guard." Jungle? Riku thought to all of the worlds, and which ones had a jungle within them. But then he figured it out. He grunted, swinging his glider around and flying in a new direction.

Gual flew into the world's atmosphere, not seeing the smoke because the water doused the fire. And it was nighttime, anyway, so it was hard to see anything. Regardless, he flew down towards the bottom of the waterfall, seeing the rubble caught in some rocks. "Looks like she crashed into the water," he reported. "If the crash happened at the top of the waterfall, she's dead." She couldn't have survived going down that rocky waterfall.

Darren's eyes narrowed, the boy focusing on finding Lightning. "Well, if she is alive, she's down there," he said, concentrating on the wide and deep river below. She was either lurking in the water or in the shadows. Either way, they would have to check.

"Somebody should check up top anyway," Rena said, seeing that there were only two directions available to go on each side. She assumed Darren would do that, since if she was down below, he could shoot arrows from the edge of the cliff and have an advantage in battle.

Lightning ran through the trees in the jungle, keeping her breathing soft in case anybody could overhear her. She tripped over a vine and skinned her knee, leaving some blood behind on the ground. She grunted and picked herself back up, knowing she had to run to find someplace safe. "Can you hear me?" she asked lowly as she ran, hoping her earpiece still worked. But she got no response from Riku.

"Leave that to me," Darren said, lowering his vessel toward the rock of the waterfall. He hopped out of it, immediately grabbing his bow and arrow, just in case. He looked up at his friends' ships and motioned with his arm for them to get going. It was time to get that watch back.

"Mm," Rena hummed with a small nod, lowering her ship to one side of the waterfall while Gual took the other side. It was too bad they couldn't fly through the area full of trees; it would have been faster. But Lightning was obviously on foot if she was alive; they could catch her. She started running.

That's what I thought, Lightning told herself, continuing to run. She figured her earpiece was broken. She wished she had time to cover her tracks too, but she didn't. And she didn't have time to cure herself, either, having been wounded somewhere along the line. She could only run.

Riku arrived in front of Deep Jungle, hovering in space. He had heard the conversation between the teens on his way over, and he knew just where to find Light. All he had to do was reach her before the others did. He started forward, summoning a portal so he could easily sneak in.

Lightning had to slow her run to a jog after a few minutes, and she reached the edge of the jungle then. She skidded to a halt and stopped right by the edge of a cliff, only able to see more trees beneath her. Where was she supposed to go now?

Darren walked across some of the rocks, stopping at the ledge where the waterfall dropped off. He looked down, his eyes scanning the area below. That girl had to be here somewhere...

Lightning had no choice but to go back in the direction she came from. She'd enter the woods and then run north. At least she'd have the cover of the trees then. She wordlessly reentered the woods and jogged at a very light pace, needing to conserve energy.

Darren looked to his left and right when he didn't see anything below, but that was when he finally spotted something. "...Footprints?" he said to himself, his eyes narrowing. It was dark here, but he could see that much; his trained eyes picked up on a lot of things. The boy started in that direction, knowing that it would take him to Lightning. Those had to be her footprints.

Lightning jogged for about a minute straight in the direction she came from, and she purposely ran over her own tracks to try and throw off any pursuers. Eventually, she turned and started running north, though she did the first few steps backwards so that somebody would think she was running in the other direction. It was a cheap trick, and hopefully one that would work. She started running forward a few yards away, her pace light because of her tiredness.

Darren followed the trail until it suddenly changed, and he studied the path in confusion. It looked like, if these really were Lightning's footprints, she retraced her steps. That didn't make much sense, but Darren saw them go a different way, though they were different in direction as well. This is too fishy, he thought, going in the newest direction.

"No sign of her down here," Rena reported in about five minutes after the search started. This was annoying. Why couldn't Lightning die and get it over with? There was no way she could win. Regardless, Rena would follow her leader's orders till the end and kill Lightning. They would be victorious.

"I think I found something," Darren said into his radio. "Come back the way you left and follow the footprints." His eyes were glued to the trail, the boy continuing along. "You'll see a change in direction; follow it."

Lightning didn't hear Rena's response, or Gual saying that he was going to join Darren's search up there too. But she did hear Darren. He was close! She forced herself to start running again, though it was hard to be silent because of the grass.

Darren's eyes widened and he tensed upon hearing noise nearby. "I've got her!" he cried into his radio. "Hurry up!" He started pursuing Lightning, following the noises he heard in the trees.

"Lightning," Riku said breathlessly, fear enveloping him when he heard Darren's announcement. He summoned his Keyblade to him and raced through the thick jungle of vines and tall trees, knowing that he had to get to her before they did.

Lightning glanced over her shoulder, eyes widening when she saw a figure in the distance running towards her. Terrific. She turned her head back around and focused on running full speed, adrenaline helping her do just that.

"Roger," Gual said, already by his ship. He jumped in it and started flying up immediately, seeing Rena do the same a few moments after him. They could have a bird's eye view and see Darren from above, and then they wouldn't waste time running through the trees.

Darren pursued Lightning, though he knew she was slightly faster. Because of that, he reached behind him and grabbed his bow and arrow. Skilled with the weapon, he was able to aim as he ran. "Get back here!" he hollered, firing off an arrow.

Light muffled a cry when the arrow skimmed her leg, surely drawing blood. She tripped and fell, and glancing back, she saw the arrow hadn't stuck in her leg. So she would keep running. She picked herself up and started moving again, knowing that she had to survive. She couldn't fight in the woods.
