Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku thought he heard an echo in the woods, both a holler and a cry of pain. He skidded to a stop and saw some birds fly up into the night sky in one direction. "There." He took off in that direction, knowing he had to find Lightning and help her. Soon.

Rena saw Gual notice the birds and then look to her, and they both nodded at the same time. They knew what to do. She flew further ahead and looked down, barely seeing Lightning running through the trees. In just a moment, she'd be in for a surprise.

"Darren, Rena's in position to take her down," Gual said, staying in the air. "Back off." Rena was going to blow up the area.

"Copy that," Darren panted, slowing his pace until he stopped. He watched Lightning get further and further away in the darkness, trying to catch his breath as he held his bow and an arrow in his hands.

No! Riku sprinted forward even more, knowing he was close. He had to be. He was near the area the birds flew from just a second ago. He could make it!

Rena stayed flying above Lightning while she ran, and when she knew Darren was far away enough, she flew a little ahead of Lightning. She dropped down a live grenade, knowing it would fulfill its purpose.

Light suddenly saw an item drop through the trees, and she squinted to recognize it. When she did, she skidded to a halt, but it was too late. The moment the grenade hit the ground, it exploded, a large blast occurring throughout the area. She cried out and flew backwards, hitting a tree before she fell down to the ground on her stomach, a harsh fire raging nearby.

Riku skidded to a stop at the blast, his grip on his blade tightening as he stared through his helmet. "Lightning," he said breathlessly. She... Was she okay? No... She couldn't have been; nobody survived something like that.

"Heh," Rena breathed, a small smirk of satisfaction on her face. "She's toast." Now all they had to was retrieve the stolen watch. It wouldn't be hard, considering that Lightning was surely dead now. Her grenade had to have hit her right on. She refused to believe anything else.

"Let's hope Boss's watch isn't," Darren replied, putting his bow over his shoulder and walking closer to the fiery trees. He could feel the heat as he approached, but he couldn't just walk away. He had to get the watch.

"He said that thing was pretty indestructible," Gual said, flying his ship to an open area and landing it there. He summoned his axe into his hand and started walking in the direction of the fire, trusting Rena would land her ship and do the same.

"Better be. Rena dropped the grenade right onto its carrier," Darren said, squinting a little at the bright light of the fire. Its heat was even more powerful closer, but he stopped in a clear area, his eyes darting around to try and find Lightning.

"It'll be fine," Rena said, waving it off as she started towards the fire on foot. "Quit worrying, Darren." He really did worry too much, but it was understandable. He was the leader of this group, so whenever something went wrong, he received the blame.

Riku lingered in the shadows, though he could see Darren from where he stood. But he could also see someone else. "...Light," he said, eyes softening behind his helmet when he spotted her. She was on her stomach, just lying there. Was she...gone?

Light's breathing was shallow, the girl knocked out from the explosion and hitting the tree so roughly. But she was alive, and her body naturally reacted to the heat of the fire by coating her face and skin in sweat. She wasn't dying that easily.

Darren noticed Lightning on the ground not too far off, and he went around the fire in a curvy path before he came close to her. "...She's alive," he said, though a tad bitterly. He could see the sweat. If she was dead, that wouldn't have been there.

Riku felt his muscles relax, but only slightly. So Lightning was alive. Well, that meant he would have to step in and stop the teens from hurting her. By Darren's tone, he didn't seem pleased at the fact.

"What?!" Rena exclaimed, anger and disbelief coming through in her tone. "My aim was dead-on!" But apparently it wasn't, because if it was, Lightning would have been dead as well. She felt infuriated at the girl, and she started jogging to reach the scene more quickly.

Riku saw Darren kneel down beside Lightning and examine her, and he instantly took a step forward, though he was still in the shadows. Lightning was alive, but if any one of those rebels touched her...

Gual stepped into the fiery area and walked over towards Darren and the girl he knelt by. "You think she still has it on her?" he asked his boss. She probably didn't have any ideas for a safe place to put it, so she kept it on herself. That was what he would have done.

"Most likely," Darren said. He just didn't know where. She had pouches and some kind of weapon on her. Maybe the watch was there. Darren reached forward to search Lightning, but he jumped back when a blue fireball suddenly flew by, passing right in front of his face. "What the...?"

"Darren!" Rena cried without thought, entering the area. She was close to him, and that was a close call she just witnessed. She summoned her sword and ran over to be by him and Gual, though her eyes went to the woods where teh fireball came from.

Darren glanced at Rena before he stood up, turning his head to look in the direction the fireball came from. "Who's there?" he demanded, lifting a hand to grasp his bow.

Riku's eyes narrowed behind his helmet and he stepped out of the shadows, his black armor now visible because of the flames all around the area. He held his red and black Keyblade in his grasp, staring the teens down as they stood next to the person he cared about.

"What's he doing here?" Gual hissed in outrage, tightening his grip on his weapon. The Black Knight...Had he been following them? He had been trying to track them down for months, after all. And yet he hadn't been able to kill any of them.

Darren grabbed his bow and an arrow, setting the arrow on the bow to prepare to shoot. "Who cares?" he said lowly. "He almost burned my face off. Let's get him." He wasn't about to let the Black Knight get away with that, no matter how strong and intimidating he was.

Riku smirked behind his helmet and got into his battle stance. Bring it on, kid, he thought. There was no way they would defeat him. He would protect Lightning at all costs.

  • Author
You guys distract him, Gual thought, seeing Rena rush in with her sword and swing at the Black Knight. I'll kill the girl and take back the watch. He'd slink into the shadows and get behind the knight.

Riku brought up his weapon and blocked Rena's attack, immediately summoning another orb of fire and thrusting his hand in her direction. He wasn't going down so easily.

Darren shot off an arrow from where he stood, and he was displeased to see that the Black Knight moved his head just an inch to avoid the arrow. Darren reached behind him for another arrow, setting it on the bow to aim again. He couldn't miss.

Rena ducked to avoid the fireball, not seeing Gual vanish into the dark woods. She was focused on the battle, and so was Darren. They would take down the Black Knight today and get back their master's watch. They couldn't fail him again.

Riku's senses picked up on the arrow coming at him, and he lifted his free hand, grabbing the arrow before it impacted his helmet. He turned his head and looked directly at Darren before snapping it in half with one hand. He saw the kid's eyes widen, but he didn't hesitate grabbing another arrow. Riku knew that he would have to get these kids to back off, even if he could handle them all. He stabbed his Keyblade into the air, calling Thunder to the area.
