Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Rena called upon a shield to block the lightning, the girl skilled with magic. After that, she ran forward and engaged Riku in battle for a few minutes, though she eventually noticed Gual in the woods behind the Black Knight. What was Gual doing? When she saw him start towards the girl silently, she understood. He was completing the mission.

Riku saw Rena look behind him and he knocked her away before glancing over his shoulder. Gual, he thought, turning more as he summoned blue energy to his left hand. But then he felt something stick his arm. He grunted and looked down, seeing an arrow in his bicep. Darren.

Gual swung his axe and deflected the orb, not just making it vanish. It went back to the Black Knight while he was distracted, and he immediately rolled Lightning over to her back so he could search her more easily. But he failed to notice that she was only pretending to be unconscious now, a knife in her hand so she could stab him when he was close enough.

Riku cried out, stumbling backward when his own orb returned to hit him instead. He lifted his free hand to his burning chest, the arrow still stuck in his arm as he lifted his gaze to Gual. "Lightning!" he hollered without thought, speaking in front of these teens for the first time.

Gual looked up at the Black Knight in astonishment, seeing Rena was caught off guard too. But Gual wasn't going to let his surprise stop him from doing what he had to do. He gripped his axe more tightly and prepared to kill the girl, but he wasn't the one who would do the killing.

Lightning heard the holler and felt the person turn her over. That latter movement was what woke her up and allowed her to subtly reach into her bag and get the knife that she now had in her hand. She kept her eyes shut until the last moment, opening them and bringing up the knife at the same time. It plunged into Gual's heart, and the teen could only gasp before he died and she pushed him away from her.

Darren's eyes widened. "What?" he said in disbelief, seeing his friend's lifeless body. "Gual!" He couldn't be dead! Not someone else!

Riku was relieved to see Lightning was awake, but he used Darren's shock to his advantage. He threw his Keyblade at the kid, striking his shoulder and causing him to stumble back.

Lightning pulled out the knife and put it away, reaching for her sword as she rolled over onto her side. She pulled it out and cast Cure on herself a few times, the aches starting to go away and her focus returning. She would be alright. But when she suddenly heard a battle cry and saw Rena coming in to kill her, she had second thoughts. She couldn't save herself quickly enough!
Riku summoned his blade back to him and looked over at Lightning to see how she was doing. But when he saw her position, he didn't have to think twice about his next move. He focused on teleporting himself in front of her and creating a shield. Dark Shield specifically.

Light had lifted her arm and sword to protect herself, but she heard the sword bang against a shield. She grunted and opened her eyes, seeing Riku standing in front of her. He saved her yet again.

Rena's sword bounced off the shield and she stumbled back a few steps, in awe of the man's speed. "Darren, orders?!" she cried. Would they take him on, or would they flee?

Darren was currently gripping his wounded shoulder. "He injured my firing arm!" he said in horror. "We have to leave. Now!" They couldn't stay here. He was wounded and Rena couldn't take on the Black Knight by herself. They had to evacuate.

"Right!" Rena said, turning around and fleeing. She ran past the fire and into the woods, hoping that the Knight wouldn't pursue them. She sort of doubted he would, judging by how he called out that girl's name. Rena wasn't stupid; she could tell he loved her. Even by that one call.

Riku turned his head once Rena fled, seeing Darren do the same. Once they were both out of his sight, he knew what he had to do. Since he couldn't leave Light, he would have to cast a very powerful spell. Riku bowed his head and held his blade, tip up, with both hands, beginning to cast the barrier spell.

Rena ran until she suddenly ran into an invisible barrier, her eyes widening when she stumbled back and fell down "What!?" she cried. They were trapped! She never knew the Black Knight could cast a spell to entrap them like this...

Darren saw Rena on the ground and he stopped next to her. "What?" he said. "What's wrong?" He looked to where she did, not understanding. What was going on?

"There's a barrier!" Rena said, looking over at Darren with wide eyes. It appeared out of nowhere, and it was mostly invisible. The two of them were trapped in this area where the Knight lingered.

Light grunted and rolled over onto her stomach when she had time to, pushing herself up slowly. She gripped her sword loosely in one hand and moved to stand next to Riku, having seen him cast a spell. What was that all about?

"Huh?" Darren said, taking a step forward. He lifted his uninjured arm and felt the barrier against his hand. He took a step back instantly. They were stuck here?!

Riku turned his attention to Light once he lowered his Keyblade, the spell finished. "You alright?" he asked, heavy concern in his voice. He'd seen that explosion, and he had been so scared that she was seriously hurt.

  • Author
"I'll survive," Light responded with a faint nod. Of course the spells didn't cure her completely, since being knocked out by an explosion was a big deal, but she would live. She, like Snow, was too stubborn to die.
Riku nodded slightly. "I don't think there'll be much more fighting," he said softly. "So I'll handle it." She was more injured than he was. He could take on Rena, the one who could still fight.

Light furrowed her eyebrows slightly, looking across Riku to his other arm. "You have an arrow in your arm," she said, stating the obvious. It would be hard to fight with that. It was amazing that it even pierced his armor, but she'd think about that another day.
Riku looked at his arm and frowned behind his helmet. "I'm not too worried about it," he stated. It managed to pierce the armor, but it didn't go too far into his arm. He would be alright.

Lightning still frowned, looking from the arrow up to the mask. "Haven't they already gotten away by now anyway?" she asked, unaware of the barrier spell that Riku was able to put up. She wasn't seeing them anywhere, so she thought they fled the area.
"I put up a barrier around the area," Riku said, glancing from Lightning to the woods where the two teens disappeared. "They're not going anywhere until I take the barrier down." Of course, that wouldn't be until he got some information.

Light's eyes grew slightly in surprise. "You can do that?" she asked, still looking up at Riku. She didn't know that he could do such a thing, but then again, there was a lot she still didn't know. A lot must have happened to him in the past five years.
Riku nodded a little, looking back at Lightning and recognizing her look of surprise. He lifted his free hand to her shoulder, wincing behind his mask at the slight pain in his upper arm because of the arrow. "Once I take one of them out, I'll need you to help me question the other," he stated. He couldn't exactly speak in front of them, in case someone was listening in.

Light nodded faintly, though she sensed something off in the air. She looked towards the fire still going on and blinked when things got blurry for a second. But that was just because of the heat most likely. That had to be it. And she just felt light-headed because of how tired she was from the chase. Everything was fine...
