Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku squeezed Light's shoulder before dropping his hand. "C'mon," he said lowly, turning and starting toward the forest. Rena and Darren couldn't escape, so it was best to get to them and do what needed to be done.

Light stood still, the feeling of tension thicker now. She was incredibly light-headed. "Ri--Knight?" she said, lifting her free hand to the side of her head as she remembered not to use his real name. Something was going on here, something bad.
Riku stopped walking and turned around, his eyes finding Lightning a few feet away. He saw the way she held herself and immediately became concerned. "What's wrong?" he asked, voice low.

"There's something in the air," Light said softly. "Some kind of...magic." And it was trying to knock her out. She gripped her head a little, her gaze not leaving her friend in armor. He couldn't sense it, could he? Was his mask blocking it?
Riku's eyebrows furrowed behind his mask, not understanding. Magic? He didn't sense anything... Maybe his mask was making that process longer. But, was Light okay? She looked like she would pass out.

Light took a step back and leaned against the tree, her hand still to her head and sword loosely in her grasp. But then it slid out of her grasp and fell to the ground, that being a testament to how the air was affecting her. She never let go of her sword, ever.
Riku blinked in shock. "Lightning?" he said in wonder. Not once had he ever seen her release her sword. He approached her and stood in front of her, examining her face. What was going on?

"I've released a gas into the air," Rena said from her place several yards away, sword in her grasp as she watched the scene between the knight and the girl who was weakening by the second. "It will knock both of you out in less than a minute." It was everywhere, and the magic made it so it only would affect the Knight and Lightning. Once those two were out cold, then she and Darren could finish their job.

Riku turned around, spotting Rena in the distance with Darren standing only a small step behind her. He lifted his free hand to Lightning's arm near him, holding it securely. Less than a minute? Riku nodded ever so slightly to those words and gripped his Keyblade securely, bowing his head as he created yet another barrier spell. He felt his legs becoming weak and his breathing turn shallow, so he knew he only had a small amount of time to do this before he too suffered the effects of the gas.

"Resisting is futile," Rena said, taking a small step forward as she looked at the two before her. "Once you both are unconscious, we'll take back what belongs to our master and kill you both. Enjoy your last few moments alive." But of course, she knew that wasn't possible. How could they enjoy the moments when they knew death was coming?

Lightning turned her head to look over at the two teens, her face paler by now both at the words and the affects of the gas. She felt Riku grasp her arm and she had a feeling that the gas was going to start affecting him now too. But it was too late for her, and she couldn't stand it any longer. She finally lost her grip on consciousness and her legs gave out from underneath her, the gas getting to her.

Riku fell to his knees with Light, his grasp on her arm causing that. His Keyblade disappeared as he leaned over her, putting his other hand on her shoulder. "Lightning?" he whispered softly, but he knew she was unconscious. That was alright; she wouldn't get hurt, and neither would he. His vision blurred and he turned his head to look at the two teens nearby, glaring at their unfocused figures. You'll see me again. Very soon.

Rena "hmphed" at the Knight and Lightning, seeing how he didn't just let her fall to the ground. He did care for her, didn't he? Well, this would be a romantic way for both of them to die. They'd perish together.

Riku saw the world before him start to spin, and he knew he would faint in only seconds. But it was okay; the barrier spell was up. He and Light would live. The Black Knight released Lightning's shoulder and put his hands on the ground to try and hold himself up, but it was no use. He grunted and collapsed on his stomach on the ground, everything fading to black.

Rena saw Lightning fall down to her stomach as well, her body laying right beside the Knight's. "Well, that worked well," she commented, looking over to Darren. Now they could easily kill off their two enemies and steal the watch. It would be a cinch.

Darren nodded, and he reached behind him to grasp an arrow as he already held his bow. He healed his firing arm while Rena casted a spell for the gas, so he was able to kill one of the two now. "Let's get the watch and put an end to this," he said, glancing at the girl next to him before walking forward the small distance between them and the two warriors.

"Sounds good to me," Rena said with a small nod, walking forward with her sword in her grasp. She wondered who Darren would want to kill: the Black Knight, who irritated them the past six months, or the girl who managed to kill three of their friends. Both of them were guilty of heavy crimes, and death was the sentence they would pay.

Darren walked to the side closest to the girl, knowing that his arrows wouldn't pierce the armor of the Black Knight as well as Rena's sword. He stood near her head and pulled the arrow back, aiming for the pink hair of her head, the most vulnerable spot. One shot, and she would be dead.

Rena stood closer to the Knight, but waited for Darren to kill his target first. It was something she wanted to see, since this girl killed off three good friends. It was about time she perished.

Darren's eyes turned hard as he glared down at the girl who managed to kill his three friends. Now, it was time for her to pay for the crime with her own life. Grinding his teeth together, Darren released the arrow, though he stepped back in alarm when it immediately bounced off. "What?!"

Rena's eyes widened, but it only took a second for her to figure out what was going on. She stepped forward, lifting a hand and finding the invisible shield. "He put up a barrier!" she hissed in disbelief. She and Darren wouldn't be able to get through this one, either.

"Ugh!" Darren groaned, lowering his bow in frustration. "Stupid knight!" Now they couldn't even get the watch back; the barrier kept them from touching the girl too.

Rena growled softly, tightening her grip on her sword. "Waiting is pointless," she said. "That shield will probably be up for a while, but I bet he dispelled the larger barrier so he and the girl would survive." At least now she and Darren could get out of here.

Darren slipped his bow over his shoulder again and tightened his hands into fists. "Let's report to Warp," he said, lifting his angered eyes to Rena. He wouldn't be happy, but they had no other choice.

"Right," Rena said in agreement, nodding. She glared at the knight and Lightning for a second before she started walking, knowing where her ship was parked. It was time for her and Darren to tell their master they failed...again.

Darren turned and stalked off as well, knowing already what Warp would do once they returned with the bad news. He would be furious, and no doubt take it out on them. Darren was already prepared for it, though. Thanks to the Black Knight, they'd come home empty-handed one too many times.
