Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

After several hours of being unconscious, Lightning woke up to the sun rising in the world. It was morning. After she grabbed her sword and checked on Riku (and thankfully found that he was still breathing) she knew she had to get the two of them back to his home. She carried him on her back and got him to what had been Gual's aircraft and put him on it behind her. She had some problems holding onto Riku during the flight home because of the claws on his arms, but a few cuts didn't stop her from taking him home. She laid him in his bed, took off his mask, and then rested for only ten minutes before she went outside and got to work on the spare ship Riku had sitting around.
Riku started coming to not long after Lightning left him in his room. He stirred, groaning a little before he finally opened his eyes. Upon seeing a ceiling, he became confused, but then when he looked down and saw that he was in his bed, he sat upright immediately. "Lightning?" he called, though he got no response. How did he get back in his room, in the castle? He lifted his hand to his head and felt his shorter hair, noticing for the first time that his helmet was off. Nobody found out who he was, did they?

Light was by the side of the ship, kneeling down by an open panel as she worked on the electronics. She winced when she cut a wire with her knife and felt a small electric current, but she started working again a second later. She wasn't particularly on guard, since Jasmine was nearby. That dog would have barked if anything was wrong.
Riku looked down and sat that his armor was still on, and he willed it away in silence. But then he looked around his room, seeing that he was alone. Not even Jasmine was there with him. Riku pushed himself up from his bed and walked to the window, looking outside. It was then that he felt relief wash over him, seeing the girl he cared so much for outside and working on a ship. Lightning was okay.

Light lowered the knife and wiped at her forehead, the work on the ship a challenge. But she assumed she and Riku would go through with another plan where she needed a ship, and this time, she wanted to make sure the ship was functioning properly. She reconnected the wires carefully, though the cuts on her fingers burned at the action. Those cuts were the price she had to pay for holding onto Riku's arms on the flight home so he wouldn't fly off the vehicle. It was worth it.
Riku immediately left his room and down the hall, his boots already on since he summoned his armor away. He started down the stairs and opened one of the large double doors that was the entrance to the castle, seeing that it was daylight here on the Land of Departure. And just down the entrance stairs, he saw Lightning, Jasmine resting just a few yards away. He started toward her in silence, his eyes locked on the back of Lightning's form.

Lightning glanced down and picked up her knife before shutting it and putting it in the case where her sword was, the girl so focused on her work she didn't hear Riku coming. He was always quiet, anyway. She leaned into the vehicle and pushed some buttons on the screen, eyebrows furrowed in concentration. Would it work?
"Need any help?" Riku asked, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he stopped a few yards away. Lightning seemed to know what she was doing, so he probably didn't need to do a thing. But after she brought him home, he felt the need to make it up to her, somehow.

Lightning grunted in surprise at the voice, though she recognized it. She pulled her head out but accidentally hit it on the roof of the vehicle. "Ouch," she hissed, ducking her head this time as she stepped away from the aircraft. She brought up a hand and rubbed the back of her head, looking over shoulder at Riku. Don't sneak up on me like that!
Riku smirked a little, his eyes on Light's. "Sorry," he said, seeing the way she was looking at him. He probably did need to stop being so quiet, since he always did sneak up on her. Well, he did in the past at least.

"Yeah, sure," Light said, turning around fully as she ran a hand over the back of her head again. The other was down by her side, and it stung when a small gust of air hit it. But she didn't have the energy to cure herself, so she would deal with the pain she had. Honestly, she was surprised she was still alive, or conscious, since she was so tired from everything.
Riku "hmphed" a little at the words, but otherwise just tilted his head as he looked at Lightning. This was the first time he really got to look at her since last night, when he had been so scared that he lost her. She was strong, really strong. She survived and brought him home, something she never had to do.

Light tilted her head faintly after a few moments, seeing Riku stare at her. "What?" she asked after a few moments, lowering her hand from her head. She let it dangle at her side, purposely not touching anything as she waited for Riku's response. Why was he looking at her like that?
Riku shook his head a little, though his eyes didn't leave Light's face. It was nothing, really. He just felt...lucky. He had someone he cared about that was strong-willed and hardheaded, but she had her gentle side too, something he loved to see. It was just another thing he loved about Lightning, among other things.

Lightning just stared at Riku, arching a brow slightly. She still wanted to know what he was thinking, and she was sure that showed on her expression. She wouldn't nag him for long over it, though, since she didn't want to waste her energy. She needed to be ready for the next fight.
Riku smiled a little as he gazed at the girl before him. After five years of not seeing her, he couldn't help it. "I know staring is rude," he said softly, staying where he was, "but I can't help it when I look at you." She was beautiful, and he missed her. And...something else.

Light smiled weakly, her arched brow lowering. She felt like she understood...Riku had waited for her for five years. And now that she was finally here, he must have been relieved. She knew she had similar feelings when she saw him, even if she wasn't separated from him for too long.
"So...don't judge me too harshly if you catch me staring," Riku requested softly, his eyes spotting that small smile of hers. One day with her, and it had been spent fighting almost the entire time. That wasn't what he wanted, but there was no other choice. Their lives revolved around fighting now.

"I wasn't judging you too harshly in the first place," Light assured Riku quietly, the small smile remaining on her lips. She really wasn't; she just hadn't thought about why Riku would stare at her now. He had done it in the past too. Somethings never change.
Riku nodded slightly, his small smile remaining. "Right," he said softly. "Then don't let me distract you." He pulled one of his hands out of his pockets and motioned to the machine behind her. She was obviously busy working on it, and his presence seemed to get in the way.

Light glanced back to the machine, smile fading away as a soft hum left her lips. Right; she had work to do. She stepped closer and put one knee on the seat, taking off the computer screen to see the wires underneath it. This wouldn't be fun.
Riku watched Lightning for a second before he approached Jasmine, sitting himself down on a small piece of rubble next to her. She made a small whining noise and he lifted his hand to pet her head, shushing her softly. Their troubles were bad, but he was determined to set things right.

Lightning reached in and rearranged and reconnected some wires, focusing in on her work as she ignored Riku and Jasmine. She wanted to spend time with them, she really did, but she needed to get this done. And then afterward, she knew she needed to rest. She hadn't slept at all when Riku was knocked out, just in case somebody followed them. But they hadn't been seen entering this world, so they were alright. It was safe.
Riku watched Lightning in silence, taking in every aspect of her. Her light pink hair and the way that even from where he sat he could see the way her eyebrows furrowed as she concentrated, her thin yet strong arms, her long legs; her figure in general. She hadn't changed a bit, but the looks only reflected what was on the inside: a strong, beautiful woman.

Light reached in with both hands and connected the last two wires, getting a shock from the connection. She grunted and pulled her hands out immediately, shaking off the right one to try and get rid of the feeling of being electrocuted. She used her left hand to put the computer screen back on, unaware that the cuts had been reopened on her right hand and it was starting to bleed.
